The Whore of New Slum is available now…

WhoreNewSlum

The Whore of New Slum is available now at Amber Allure. Click here to check it out. It’s my first attempt at Steampunk, so I’m not sure how will I achieved it, but I liked the story. 🙂 Remember if you buy all five books in the PAX, you’ll get them for a discount. And there are some really good books in the PAX.

I’ll be writing all day again…lol. When am I not writing? But it’s something I love to do, so I can’t complain.

I hope you all had a great weekend and have a wonderful Monday. 🙂

Home of His Own available now….

homeofhisown_800

Home of His Own is available now at Total e-Bound, if you didn’t pick it up the first time it was out. Click here to check it out. 🙂 This will be available in print at some point in the near future as well.

1400x2100Dreaming_of_Dragons

Dreaming of Dragons was re-released by MLR Press on Friday. Just re-edited as well, but it will be available in print at some point. 🙂 Yay! Click here to check it out.

Home Sweet Home was turned in on Thursday night. Yay! It’ll be out in May..and up for pre-order in the next couple of months. The Home series was the first series I ever started writing. Of course, it’s taken seven long years to get it done. I appreciate all of you sticking with me and bugging me every chance you got about Yancey and Juan. I hope you feel I did their story justice when you get to read it.

I’m working on my GRL anthology story, The Occasional Prostitute, and I’m hoping to get that done in the next couple of days. Then I’ll be working on the second book in the International Men of Sports series that I’m co-authoring with Devon Rhodes, which is titled Chasing the King of the Mountains. It’s about a French cyclist and a French reporter, and takes place during the Tour de France. As you can tell, we’re trying to feature sports that might not always get spotlighted in stories, and we wanted sports that are popular in a particular country. Cricket in India, Cycling in France, Soccer/Football in Germany, Rugby in Australia, Curling and Hockey in Canada, and Beach Volleyball in Brazil.

Also, I’ll be working on Thieves, the last book in The Beasor Chronicles, and at some point next week, I’ll be starting Pray for the Thunder, a short story for MLR Press. 🙂 So while it looks like I have a bunch of stuff to do (and I do), I think I have it under control.

Of course, I’ll have edits mixed in there…lol. I actually have edits on Stealing Life, which will be re-released by Total e-Bound on July 1st, and within the next day or two, I’ll have edits for Home Sweet Home. But edits are okay. They don’t take nearly as long as writing the books themselves. (usually)

Okay, so I hope you all have a good Monday. Those who were hardest hit by the snowstorm, I hope you’re all safe and sound. Digging out is crappy.

A Sticky Wicket is done…

nick_beyeler_2

Good news…A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood is finished and turned in. Just waiting on the contract, so we can sign it and get editing on it. 🙂 I also turned in Stealing Life…it’ll be re-released July 1st.

Devon and I have already started plotting out the second book in the International Men of Sports series. The second one is about a French Cyclist and a French reporter. It takes place during the Tour de France. Yay! It’s tentatively titled Chasing the King of the Mountains (since King of the Mountains is a title you can win during the Tour…and you get to wear a polka dot jersey if you do win it.)

Our goal with this series is to take the reader to exotic (or at least interesting) locales, and introduce you to sports that the people in those countries play. We aren’t focusing on American sports either, though one story will have a hockey player in it. (which isn’t truly an American sport…lol)

So our second book takes place in France and focuses on cycling. The third is Germany/soccer(football). 4th: Australia/rugby…5th: Canada/curling/hockey….6th: Brazil/beach volleyball. At least one main character will play the sport featured, though in Germany and Canada, they’ll both be athletes.

We hadn’t planned on the books being long enough to go into print on their own. At first, we planned on grouping them together, two at a time. But Sticky Wicket took on a life of its own, and suddenly we were over the 50k mark, so now each book will also be coming out in print individually.

Now that I’ve given you the scoop on the International series, I’ll let you know that Home Sweet Home is moving along. I’m hoping to be able to sub it next week some time. Yay! Then it’s on to a bunch of stories and the last book in The Beasor Chronicles, Thieves.

I hope you all have a great weekend…and if you’re going to watch the Super Bowl, hope it’s a good game for you. 🙂

Wednesday Work In Progress…

Today I thought I’d share with you an excerpt from A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood, the collaboration between Devon Rhodes and yours truly. My character is Ajay Singh, and he’s one of India’s top cricket players. He’s a pretty good guy, but he has a bit of a temper, and it’s been known to cause him trouble from time to time. Here you go….

A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood. (copyright c. 2013 Devon Rhodes & T.A. Chase)

Excerpt:

Ajay backed away from Neel, who had jumped to his feet and was uncharacteristically crowding in Ajay’s face. Neel had never reacted this way to Ajay talking to anyone before

“I didn’t think it was that important for you to know I talked to Raj. We’re just meeting for chai, Neel. It’s not like we’re going on a date or anything.” Ajay took a few steps back, trying to put space between them.

“Of course, you couldn’t date him. Rajan isn’t about to come out of the closet for a lover, not now when he’s at the top of the Bollywood world,” Neel commented.

“What’s your problem, Neel? I’ve never seen you act this way. If I’d known you’d do this, I wouldn’t have told you the truth about where I’m going. And what do you mean out of the closet? I never said that Rajan was gay.” Ajay shook his head. “I’ll see you tomorrow at the stadium for practise.”

He shoved his way through the crowd, not really paying attention to who he ran into or if anyone was snapping a picture of him being rude to the dancers. All he wanted was to get out of the club and away from Neel at that moment.

Once he was outside, he flagged down a cab, then climbed in. He told the driver to take him to Cafe Pringa. As the vehicle pulled from the kerb, he spotted Neel bursting out of the club. Ajay grimaced at Neel’s crazy actions. There was something going on with his friend, but Ajay didn’t have time to figure it out.

All he wanted to focus on was being able to see Raj in person for the first time since that unfortunate argument. Ajay rested his head against the cool glass of the window, and admitted to himself that he probably could’ve seen Raj a long time ago, if he’d returned any of the messages Raj had left on his phone. His stubborn pride and fiery temper made it impossible for him to say he was sorry.

With age came maturity and a certain amount of wisdom, and Ajay was finally ready to face the mistakes he’d made in the past. Maybe when he did that, he’d be able to move on and find something good in his future, though he doubted that whatever was waiting for him would be better than the perfect relationship he’d let slip away when he was young and foolish.

The cab stopped in front of Cafe Pringa, and Ajay sat, staring at the late night crowd. Did he have the courage to step out of the vehicle and go face the man he’d never forgotten? Could he find the strength to ask for forgiveness?

Raj had to have some kind of fondness for Ajay, if Ajay could use Raj’s actions of calling him back and agreeing to meet him as evidence.

“Are you getting out, sir?”

The driver’s question jolted Ajay, and he nodded. After paying the man, he shoved open the door, then climbed out. His phone beeped and he looked down to see a text.

‘are you here yet? Found a table outside in the corner.’

Ajay could lie and say he’d gotten caught in traffic, or something had come up and he wouldn’t be able to make it. He stared at the words as they shook slightly from the trembling of his hand. No. He wouldn’t do that. It was time to face his past, and hopefully regain a friend who had meant far more than anyone else ever had.

They Walk Among Us is available now…

TheyWalkAmongUs

I posted some places yesterday, but in case you didn’t hear, They Walk Among Us is now available at Amber Allure. Click here to go check it out. 🙂 Or you can browse my website to see what else is coming out soon.

Anyway this weekend was a great writing weekend. I did two real-time writing sessions with Devon Rhodes (which meant I stayed up really late since she’s like three hours behind me…lol) but we achieve two 10k+ days in a row, and our book is now over 34k. Which is awesome because it means we’re actually going to be bumping the word count up to 50k+, and our book will be out in print. Since it’s the first in a series of six books, that means all of them will be in print as well. Woot!

I really can’t wait for you to meet my cricket player…and Devon’s Bollywood actor. I think they’re wonderful together. 🙂

Also, I got a good amount written on Home Sweet Home as well, and it’s moving along at a good pace. Hoping this week will get me even more words.

Well, it snowed last night and the world outside is snowy/icy. Might be a good day to stay inside and write, but I do have some errands to run. So I’m going to write for a little while, then head out into the cold world (lol) to get what I need.

Have a marvelous Monday, everyone.

New Cover-Leaving Home

leavinghome_800

Isn’t this so yummy? I love this cover. 🙂 And it’s going to look awesome with the other books on my shelf when I get the print version.

I just finished final line edits on Leaving Home, so it’ll be up for pre-order at some point. I’ll make sure to let you all know when it’s up.

I’m working on Home Sweet Home and A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood this weekend. Hoping to get a lot finished. 😀 At least on HSH. I have a partner who has to do her part on ASWiB…lol So together, we’ll get a lot done, I’m sure.

Well, it’s snowing here, giving me the perfect excuse not to go anywhere and just focus on advancing my stories. I hope you all are safe and warm wherever you are. Also, have an awesome weekend.

Good News….

Okay…I finished Reserved for Him last night, and subbed it today. Yay! Another story crossed off my list. Also, I finished and subbed Threadbare Gypsy Souls. Threadbare will be out April 7th. Along with two other stories for sure, and maybe one more. 🙂 So April there will be an abundance of T.A. Chase stories coming out.

One will be a re-release with nothing new added, just a different cover, so you can skip it if you want…lol.

I’ll be starting the project I’m working on with Devon Rhodes, and also Home Sweet Home will be started today. Woot!

Sorry I was late posting this. I’ve been staying at my mother’s this week to help her during her recovery from knee surgery. She’s been doing really good, so I’m going home tonight. Unfortunately, I have a funeral to go to tomorrow. 🙁 But she has a bunch of friends just chomping at the bit to come and help her…lol. So I don’t have to worry about her being by herself.

I hope you all have a great day.

Last Day of 2012….

federer

Not sure if I shared this with you before, but this is a picture my husband took while he was at the Olympics this year. Since Federer is my favorite tennis player, I thought I’d share it. I think for this match, my husband was at Centre Court, three rows off the actual court. Pretty nice, huh?

I can’t believe today is the last day of 2012. Crazy. Where the heck did this year go? When I look back on it, it wasn’t the best year of my life for personal reasons, but it wasn’t the worse year. I can deal with the personal crap, and move on. 🙂

I’ve had a few new books out this year, along with some re-releases. I still have a few re-releases coming out in 2013, but there will be more new books out. I promise…the biggest ones will be the last two Home books, Leaving Home and Home Sweet Home. You’ve all been so patient waiting for them, and I hope they live up to your expectations.

I’m hoping to get Rover’s story done in 2013, along with the next Diner story and the third Why I Love book. Maybe even do the next Earth Warrior as well. Plus I’m working on a special project with an awesome writer, but I’m not going to say anything more than that right now. 🙂

I hope you all have a safe New Year’s Eve, and I hope 2012 has been kind to you.

Two for One is available now…

My Sexy Snax, Two for One, is out now at Total e-Bound. Click here to check it out. This one had been available in the anthology Three that Liquid Silver Books released. I did add a little to this one to make it slightly longer.

Blurb:

When Jack receives a Two for One offer at a local club, he doesn’t realise the two men would change his life.

Jack Samson moves to Sumerset to start over again. He’s looking forward to his new veterinary practice and maybe having some fun once in a while. He certainly isn’t looking to fall for two men.

Simon Wittman and Brady Vanderly have been partners for fifteen years. They love each other, but they like to play. When they pick Jack up at a local gay bar, they think they’re just looking for a night or two of fun. They end up finding so much more.

Reader Advisory: This book was previously released at another publisher. It has been revised and re-edited for release with Total-E-Bound.

I’m working on Leaving Home, Peter’s story. Got the first chapter done over the weekend. Plus I’m working on a short story titled Reserved for Him, and got a little bit done on it as well. So I’ll be writing today on those two stories, plus the blog installment.

Have a great Monday.

Wishing for a Home cover…

Here’s the new cover for Wishing for a Home. 🙂 I think all of the new covers are great. Definitely know they belong together, don’t you? I’ll have to go and check to see when it’ll be out.

I plan on finishing The Whore of New Slum today, and filling out the forms before sending it in. I’ve already started Leaving Home, Peter’s story. That one will be done by the end of Dec. along with at least one short story. (keeping my fingers crossed on that)

I hope you all have a great Monday. 🙂
