Archive for A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood
Monday again…
I had to take my dads to the airport, so I didn’t have time to post anything until right now. π Here is the awesome cover for the 5th Fallen book, New York. By far my favorite of the series (at the moment. I’m sure I’ll change my mind as each of the others are completed…lol) It’s scheduled for a January release. Yay!
Also, A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood received an Honorable Mention in the Rainbow Awards contest. Which is marvelous news. We’ll find out the winners tomorrow, I believe.
I’m working on Blindsided, and we’ve made a good start on it. Also, Remove the Space is being worked on and a Christmas story too (that might have to wait until next year to be released…lol It’s a little late to be turning in Christmas stories for this year.) As soon as those are done, I have a couple to finish up for Amber Allure, and my next Fallen book to do.
So I’ll be busy, and during the week of GRL, I might not have much time to write, which is fine. π I’ll try to make sure I at least get the two installments for Finding Peace done before I leave.
Okay…I have to get writing now. I hope you all have a great Monday.
Chasing the King of the Mountains available…
I know I promised there’d be an installment of Hearts today, but I was gone all day and didn’t get back until very late last night. So I’m sorry that it’s not up.
But good news for those of you who didn’t pre-order or grab it during the pre-release time, Chasing the King of the Mountains is available for general release now. Β Yay! Click here to check it out. It was so much fun to write…and it comes out during the 2013 Tour de France, so you can read it, then watch the coverage of the race and maybe have some understanding about what the commentators are saying. lol. Or maybe not because I did all that research on cricket for Sticky Wicket, and I still don’t understand the game. Β At First Touch, the 3rd book in the International Sports series, will be available soon for pre-order. And Devon and I are hard at work on book 4, Blindsided.
Also, the second annual GRL convention anthology, Unconventional in Atlanta, is available for pre-release download. You buy it today at a discounted price, you can read it today. π Check it out here. Β It’s fun to read because it takes place in Atlanta at the very hotel GRL will be at this year, during GRL. And all the stories have at least one main character who works at the hotel. So the stories are inter-releated and you’ll see characters from the other stories interact with each other throughout the anthology. It was a lot of fun to write.
Finally, I did an interview with Female First (from the UK). If you click here, you can check it out.
I promise next week I’ll be on the ball, and get those installments done on time.
I hope you all have a marvelous and safe 4th of July weekend.
Ghost of a Chance is available again….
MLR Press has re-released Ghost of a Chance today. Click here to check it out. It’s just been re-edited, so if Β you already have it, you don’t need to pick it up. π
And I want to thank all of you for making No Going Home, Leaving Home, and A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood all best sellers at ARe. Also, they’re doing great at Amazon as well, which amazes me. π Β So thank you all again.
I’ll be writing all weekend to get some stories done that need to be turned in next week. π
I hope you all have a great weekend, and for those of you who are mothers, have an awesome Mother’s Day.
Back from RT…
I’m back from RT. I had a marvelous time getting to see all my friends and meeting new ones. π
While I was gone, I had a new release come out. I’d forgotten that Total e-Bound was changing their release day from Monday to Friday. So, A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood came out on Friday and is all ready zooming up the Bestseller chart at ARe. π Click here to check it out. It’s only .99 cents right now because Total e-Bound is also starting a new program First in a Series, where they’re taking select series and marking the first book in it at .99 cents, so people who haven’t given it a try can pick it up. No Going Home is also only .99 cents. So if any of you have friends who might have hesitated to read NGH before, this might be a good incentive for them to try now. lol
I will have the next installment of Hearts up and ready to read for you tomorrow. π And for any who might be wondering, no…you didn’t miss any story on Edward from the Home series. I haven’t written one yet, though I’m hoping to do so next year.
Have a great day, everyone. π
Leaving Home is available….
The fourth book in the Home series, Leaving Home, is now available for general release. π Yay! I’m so excited to have you all (who didn’t get it while it was available for pre-release download) to read Chaz and Peter’s story. π All your old friends make an appearance. Click here to check it out.
More great news. Home Sweet Home, which is the last book in the series…and I think the most highly anticipated story of the series, is now available for pre-release download. If you’re a VIP, you can buy HSH and read it today…before anyone else is able to. π It’s Juan and Yancey’s story…and I really hope you love it. click here to check it out.
Oh…and Devon Rhodes and I are having a contest over at Stumbling Over Chaos. (All right, Devon set it all up. I’m just riding on her coat tails…lol) One lucky commenter will win a copy of A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood. π Yay!
All right. I think that’s all the news I have today. I’m still going to try to get at least tomorrow’s installment done. I don’t want to leave Baxter and Addison hanging in the hallway…lol
I hope you all have a great Monday…and everything. π
Delayed…
I was working on Chasing the King of the Mountains last night, so I didn’t have time to get the next installment done. I’ll be working on that today.
I wanted to let you know that A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood is up for pre-order at Total e-Bound now. Yay! Click here if you’re interested.
Thanks for understanding. π
New cover and contest….
I realized I haven’t shared this with you yet. This is the cover for the first book in the International Men of Sports series I’m co-authoring with Devon Rhodes. I totally love this cover, and can’t wait to see the rest of them…lol. Of course we have to write them first. This will be out in May. I’ll let you know when it’s up for pre-order, and VIP download. π I hope you enjoy these men.
Also, I posted a new excerpt from The Whore of New Slum at the Amber Allure Pax blog. Click here to go and check it out. We’re running a contest, and if you comment, you’re entered for a chance to win the entire Steampunk PAX. They’re drawing the winner on Saturday. The whole week has been posts from the authors in the PAX. Should be some interesting posts. π
For those of you who have asked, I do plan on writing a sequel to The Whore. Not right away since I have some other books to finish up, but there will be more to their story at some point in the future.
I hope you all have a great weekend and stay warm.
Sorry…have a ton of edits
Hey everyone, I’m sure you’re wondering where the next installment for the blog story is. Well, unfortunately, I didn’t get to it last night. I have a bunch of edits to do on Stealing Life, Home Sweet Home, and finishing up edits on Sticky Wicket. I’m going to try and get them done today, then hopefully I can do the installment. If not, it might not be until Thursday and Friday that you get the next two installments. π Sorry.
Also, for Erika S. and anyone else who was wondering, the only one of the first three Home books that has been added to is Wishing for a Home. I had to add about 5-6k to get it long enough to go into print like the other ones. I’m not sure if that’s enough of a difference to be able to tell when you read the new version. I understand anyone who is on a budget for books, so I guess I’d say save your money for Leaving Home and Home Sweet Home. Then if you get a little extra cash, maybe pick up Wishing. π
I hope you all have a great day while I spend mine in editing mode.
