Archive for The Vanguard

The Vanguard is available…

Now that my brain is functionally close to normal…lol. I can let you know that The Vanguard has been re-released by Total e-Bound today. With a great new cover (not that I didn’t love and adore the cover Anne Cain did for me for the original release) and more editing, it’s a fresh start for the boys. πŸ™‚ Β Don’t worry though, I didn’t add anything new to it, so if you already have the first version, don’t feel pressured to buy this one. Β The great news is it’ll be out in print as well. I think in December or January, so that’s awesome. πŸ™‚

If you’d like to check it out, click here and it’ll take you to its page at Total e-Bound. πŸ™‚

I have edits to do on Home of His Own and a final galley to look over for Here Be Dragons. Also, I have to do the next installment for the blog story. I’ll be busy the rest of the day. Β And hopefully, my late night won’t catch up with me.

Have a great Monday, everyone.

Finally feeling good…

Finally, I don’t feel like I could fall asleep sitting up. πŸ™‚ That’s always a good thing and I got some writing done as well yesterday. I’m writing a steampunk story for Amber Allure, and I got started on it. Yay! It’s due Dec. 1st, so I would like to get it done way before that.

I got the news today that The Vanguard will be released in print in Dec. and No Going Home will out in print in January. Yay! Of course, those dates can change and I’ll keep you updated on that.

Well, I’ll be diving back into my steampunk story now. I hope you all have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

The Installment will be up Tomorrow

My days are screwed up…and somehow I forgot today was Thursday…lol. Don’t worry, there will be an installment up tomorrow for Threadbare Gypsy Souls.

But in case you’re interested, the new version of The Vanguard is up for pre-order at Total e-Bound. Click on the link here to check it out. πŸ™‚

I’ve been having problems getting Steril, from Thieves (which is the last book in The Beasor Chronicles) to talk to me, so I’m going to start working on Leaving Home to see if that might get Steril more vocal about his story. πŸ™‚ Not sure if it’ll work, but at least I’ll have a story working for me. lol

I hope you have a great day…and make sure to stop by tomorrow to see what Nash and Cullen are up to. πŸ˜‰

Finally Friday

Yes..the weekend is almost here. Just another eight hours or so…and it’s official. Lol. Unfortunately, I’ll be doing edits all today and tomorrow probably. Have to finish up the final line edits on The Vanguard and do my first set of edits on No Going Home. That way they can get done and up for pre-order soon. πŸ™‚

I also plan to do some more writing to see if I can finish anything. Never know. lol

I hope you all have a great weekend.

Wonderful Wednesday

I actually have much closer pictures of the Olympic Rings on Tower Bridge, but I thought I’d share this one first. πŸ™‚

I’m heading off to a quiet place so I can get some writing done. I have edits to do on The Vanguard so it can be re-released. And I have to start Thieves, which is the last book in the Beasor Chronicles. I’m hoping to get another short story I’m working on done as well. No rest for the wicked I guess. This is what I get for being gone an entire month…lol

I hope everyone is safe, especially those in the path of Hurricane Isaac. Take care and have a great day. πŸ™‚

The Vanguard-New Cover

Here’s the new cover for The Vanguard, and while I love the original cover by Anne Cain, I love this one as well. πŸ™‚ This will be re-released in September by Total e-Bound and it’s long enough to go into print as well. Yay!

Well, this is a quick post because we’re heading down to the zoo today, and I won’t have time later in the morning to post anything.

I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

New Cover

This is the cover for the upcoming anthology I’m in at Total e-Bound. As you can see, there are some of the best m/m authors in it with me. πŸ˜€ Β The theme of the antho is conventions..and all our stories take place at one convention or another. My story is titled Ninja Cupcakes. I’m not sure about the others, but I know they’ll be awesome. πŸ™‚ Β The antho releases August 6th, and then in December, each story will be released individually as well. Also, it’ll be going into print, and will be available at GayRomLit in October. Plus, I do believe all of the authors will be there to sign it for you. πŸ™‚

I got another new cover yesterday as well, but I’ll be sharing that one with you on Friday. It’s the new cover for The Vanguard, and while I love the old one, this one is gorgeous in it’s own way…lol. The Vanguard will be re-released in Sept by Total e-Bound. πŸ™‚

It’s my 40th birthday today…and I can’t think of better presents than beautiful cover art.

Hope you all have a great day.

Happy Hunk Day

There’s just something about this guy’s eyes and smile that I love. I had to post it. You can find the rest of the series at Beautiful Magazine. They have some awesome eye candy photos, but most of them aren’t safe for work. Just keep that in mind if you visit…lol.

I just got the news yesterday that Tramps, the second in The Beasor Chronicles, has been moved up to be released August 20th. Which means I need to get cracking and finish it up. The reason it’s being moved up is because Total e-Bound is re-releasing The Vanguard in September. Woo-hoo! I’m really excited about the whole thing because starting in July, I’ll have at least one book a month coming out from TeB, and in July, August, and Dec. I’ll have two books each of those months coming out. We’ve done our best to try and alternate new books with re-releases. So you’ll be getting something new from me every other month, plus all your old favorites with new covers.

I also just saw the cover for From Slavery to Freedom, and as soon as I get the okay, I’ll share it with you. I’m pretty sure we’ll be putting Slavery and Out of Light into Darkness together in a print book, which would be great. πŸ™‚

I still have some other older books whose rights I’ve gotten back, and have to work out who they’re going to. As you might have noticed, you can no longer get Fighting Dragons, Ghost of a Chance, and Dreaming of Dragons from Loose-Id. I’m pretty sure I have a new publisher for them, so as soon as I can, I’ll let you know when those will be available again. Also, I still have to see about finding a home for Death or Life and Not Seeing is Believing. The reason those two don’t have a place yet is simply because I haven’t had the time to re-format them to the right template. As soon as I get a moment to do that, I’ll send them in, and let you know about them as well. πŸ˜‰

I have final edits to do on Pursing Hope and Angel’s Evoultion. Those will be done today, I’m hoping…along with other things I’ve been neglecting. Most of which are forms I have to fill out…lol. I did let you all know Angel is being re-released by MLR Press, right?

Someone asked about Rover’s story, and I’m hoping I can get to it later this year. I have a few other stories I’ve promised first to different publishers, but as soon as those are done, I’ll be getting to his story. πŸ™‚

Well, I think that’s all I have to say at the moment. I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

Last Monday in February

Since it’s so close to the end of the month, I thought I’d let you all know what my news is. If you’ve gone to ARe, or really any of the 3rd party sellers-or to Liquid Silver Books website to look for any of my books published by them, you won’t find them. After four great years being published with them and working with them, I decided to take the rights back to all my books. The only two left with LSB at the moment are Where the Devil Dances, and Two for One. Because both of those are published with other authors, I had to wait the full 90 days before I could get those back. Which is fine with me.

Again, I want to emphasize that my decision had nothing to do with Liquid Silver Books. They’re great people, and I loved working with them. I just decided it was time to move my books somewhere else. The purpose behind it is to consolidate my publishers and make it a little less of a search for you, the readers, to find my books. If I have them at three or four publishers instead of six or seven, it’d be quicker…lol.

And the good news is Total e-Bound has decided to pick up the Home series and Stealing Life so far. The other books are under review with them. πŸ™‚ Β So at the moment, I have release dates for them, barring any unforeseen problem. Β No Going Home will be re-released Oct. 15th, Home of His Own-Dec. 31st. Wishing for a Home-Jan 28th. Β Also, I have release dates for the last two books in the series, Leaving Home will be out Feb. 25th and Home Sweet Home will be out March 25th. Stealing Life will be out April 22nd. The other news is all of the Home books will be released in print as well. I added more to Wishing to get it up to the right word count for print. So that’s awesome news.

Now I know you’re all probably grumbling about having to wait until next year for the last two books in the series, but at least you have actual dates to mark on your calendar to look forward to. πŸ™‚ There are six more LSB books that TeB will be taking a look at to see if they want them or not. If not, I do have other options to publishing them, so they will be re-released at some point.

I did a pre-release schedule from Total e-Bound that goes through April of 2013. That makes me happy, and it’s a schedule I can keep without pulling my hair out…lol. I finished From Slavery to Freedom on Friday, and sent it off to my beta reader. Once she’s done, and tells me everything I need to fix, I’ll get it in to my editor at TeB. FStF is scheduled to be released on July 31st. Woot! I’m working on The Deepest Cut at the moment, trying to get it finished as well. We’ll see how far I can get on that before I have to start the second book in The Beasor Chronicles trilogy.

There are plans to take back some other books back from another publisher of mine, but until it actually happens, I’m keeping as silent as I can about that. πŸ™‚ Again, I’m taking my rights back for no other reason than it’s time to move on. It’s been fun working with all my different publishers. Simply time to gather my little ducklings into fewer baskets.

I hope you all have a great day.

New Cover….

Here’s the cover for Shades of Dreams which will be out Dec. 12th. I got the release date wrong…lol. And like I said, Shades and Be The Air For You will be out in print (together) in mid-January, I believe. πŸ™‚ Woo-hoo!

Someone asked me the other day about The Vanguard and one line there about the Prince’s blood having something strange in it, and then it was never addressed in the rest of the book. That’s my fault. It’s one of the plot ideas that either got away from me or I changed my mind about having in there and forgot to take it out. Sorry about that.

There was another question I wanted to answer, but for the life of me, I can’t remember what it was. Sorry, and as soon as I do, I’ll make sure to give my answer. I’ve been fighting a cold/sinus infection for the past week or so. I keep hoping it’ll go away soon, but it seems to want to stick around. At times, my brain is barely functioning…lol. And this morning is one of them.

I plan on doing a lot of writing this weekend, in between other obligations. So maybe I can get Voice for the Silent halfway or even all the way done by Sunday night. Wish me luck.

Have a great Friday and a marvelous weekend, everyone.
