New Release
Sorry everyone. Got caught in some other business and totally forgot to post anything today. π Bad TA.
Anyway, my newest book is available now. From Slavery to Freedom is about Malachi, a demon, who falls in love with a young human. How they deal with their baggage is interesting, and watching them fall in love is entertaining…I hope.
It’s available here.
Hope you enjoy it…oh and it’s the sequel to Out of Light, into Darkness. π
Have a great Monday.
Another new Cover and Blurb
From Slavery to Freedom is the sequel to Out of Light into Darkness, my vampire story. This one will be out at the end of July, and then hopefully we’ll be able to combine the two of them into a print book. π Β It’s not up on the Coming Soon page at Total e-Bound yet, so I can’t give you a link. I thought I’d share the blurb with you though. π
Blurb:
Can a caged human learn how to be free, and break down the bars imprisoning a demonβs heart?
Malachi has spent centuries as the bodyguard and head security guard for Andor, a master vampire. Heβs never concerned himself with the humans around him, seeing them as lesser creatures. It isnβt until Andor falls in love with a human, that Malachi begins to see some value in them.
Since he was fifteen, Doll has lived in a cage, being used and beaten by humans and vampires alike. Some days, heβs not even sure heβs sane any more, but some hidden strength keeps him going on instead of begging for death.
In fateful night, Doll and Malachi cross paths, and it changes their lives forever.
Sorry about posting this late. Got caught up in writing. π
Have a great day.
Happy Hunk Day
There’s just something about this guy’s eyes and smile that I love. I had to post it. You can find the rest of the series at Beautiful Magazine. They have some awesome eye candy photos, but most of them aren’t safe for work. Just keep that in mind if you visit…lol.
I just got the news yesterday that Tramps, the second in The Beasor Chronicles, has been moved up to be released August 20th. Which means I need to get cracking and finish it up. The reason it’s being moved up is because Total e-Bound is re-releasing The Vanguard in September. Woo-hoo! I’m really excited about the whole thing because starting in July, I’ll have at least one book a month coming out from TeB, and in July, August, and Dec. I’ll have two books each of those months coming out. We’ve done our best to try and alternate new books with re-releases. So you’ll be getting something new from me every other month, plus all your old favorites with new covers.
I also just saw the cover for From Slavery to Freedom, and as soon as I get the okay, I’ll share it with you. I’m pretty sure we’ll be putting Slavery and Out of Light into Darkness together in a print book, which would be great. π
I still have some other older books whose rights I’ve gotten back, and have to work out who they’re going to. As you might have noticed, you can no longer get Fighting Dragons, Ghost of a Chance, and Dreaming of Dragons from Loose-Id. I’m pretty sure I have a new publisher for them, so as soon as I can, I’ll let you know when those will be available again. Also, I still have to see about finding a home for Death or Life and Not Seeing is Believing. The reason those two don’t have a place yet is simply because I haven’t had the time to re-format them to the right template. As soon as I get a moment to do that, I’ll send them in, and let you know about them as well. π
I have final edits to do on Pursing Hope and Angel’s Evoultion. Those will be done today, I’m hoping…along with other things I’ve been neglecting. Most of which are forms I have to fill out…lol. I did let you all know Angel is being re-released by MLR Press, right?
Someone asked about Rover’s story, and I’m hoping I can get to it later this year. I have a few other stories I’ve promised first to different publishers, but as soon as those are done, I’ll be getting to his story. π
Well, I think that’s all I have to say at the moment. I hope you all have a great Wednesday.
Happy Hunky Day
Well, it’s the middle of the week, and I’m not sure I’ve accomplished all I wanted to. So I’m going to have to knuckle down and get some stuff written. I did sign the contract for From Slavery to Freedom, which is the sequel to Out of Light Into Darkness. From Slavery is about Malachai, Andor’s bodyguard. I think you’ll like it, and the other good news is it’ll be put into a print book with Out of Light. Yay!
I hope you all have a great day, and stay safe out there. π
Happy Hunk Day
wow…it’s already the middle of the week. I’m thinking this year is going to fly by, and I’m not going to be able to keep up with things…lol.
Writing went very well yesterday. I ended up with over 8k, which is one of the largest one day word counts I’ve had in a long time. Well, just on one story. From Slavery to Freedom is moving along quite well. I’m at the halfway point already, and I think it might be a little longer than the word count I had planned. Which I’m sure my publisher won’t mind. I’m hoping they’ll put Out of Light into Darkness and From Slavery to Freedom in print form together. That would be great. π But we’ll see.
I hope you all have a great day.
Monday is here…
So a new week is here, and I’m trying decide if I want to sit at my desk and write, or curl up in my recliner in the living room with my laptop. Guess it really doesn’t matter..as long as I write. π
It looks like my two YA stories will be out in May and June. Yay! Pursing Hope, my first f/f YA, will be coming out in May, and The Deepest Cut will be out in June. When I get exact dates, I’ll let everyone know, and also the dates are always subject to change…lol. Β I’m at 41k for DC, and it’ll be over 60k when I finish, which is nice. I think it needs to be that long to tell Charlie’s story. He’s got some issues, but he makes it through and gets a boyfriend in the end.
The adult story I’m working on, From Slavery to Freedom, is the sequel to Out of Light into Darkness, and is about Malachai, Andor’s demon bodyguard. I hope you all like it. It’s a little hard in the beginning because Doll, Malachai’s love interest, is in a very bad place. But Malachai, Andor and Sven help save him. I’ll let you know more about it when I get closer to being done with it.
Well, I better get to writing. I hope you have a great day.
Holy February…
I can’t believe January is already gone. Seems like I was just figuring out my New Year’s resolutions. (which I didn’t actually make because I never keep them..lol)
But looking back over the last month, it was a good one. I finished two stories. To be honest, one doesn’t really count because I wrote most of it the last week of December, and subbed it on the second of January. Pursuing Hope was my first try at a f/f story, and it’s a Young Adult one as well. I sent it off to my editor at Featherweight Publishing, and yesterday, they let me know they wanted it. Yay! It’s not very angsty or anything like that. It’s about a girl looking for a date to prom. She just happens to be a lesbian.
I sent my edits in for Famine, so it’ll be out on the 20th of this month. Also, Bring Him Gold will be out on the 12th. I have two print books coming out this month as well. War and The Longest Stride will be available at some point this month. Woot!
Gypsies went off to my editor at Total e-Bound, and I started working on a short story for them as well. I’ll still be working on it because it’s like halfway done, but I need to start From Slavery to Freedom, the sequel to Out of Light into Darkness today. So for a little while, I’ll be working on three books, until I get the really short story done. π
Well, at the end of this month, I’ll also have some big news. Nothing bad, so don’t worry about that. Just a few changes happening. All of it will be good (at least I hope you’ll think so.)
Have a great day, everyone.
Busy weekend
Well, I’m hoping to finish up the additional stuff I had to add to an older story to make it long enough to go into print. If I do, then I’ll go back to working on The Deepest Cut. I have until the end of the month to wrap this older story up. Once Feb. 1st comes around, I have to start on the sequel to Out of Light into Darkness and another short story. π
I’m having lunch tomorrow with some friends, but I do plan on doing as much writing over the weekend as I can.
Hope you have an awesome Friday, and great weekend, everyone.
Happy Hump Day…
