Archive for Unconventional in Atlanta

Week of Christmas…..

First off, Fighting Dragons was re-released on Dec. 6th at MLR Press. Click here to check it out.

Second, His Last Client came out as a single release on Friday. It was out in the Unconventional in Atlanta anthology. πŸ™‚ But you can check it out here.

Third….Blindsided is up for early download. It’s book 4 in our International Men of Sports series. Check it out here.

And lastly, Remove the Empty Spaces is up for early download as well at Totally Bound. It’s book One in my Rags to Riches series. πŸ™‚ Check it out here.

Now that I’ve got through all the promo stuff. lol I’ll announce the winner for the next blog story. It’s Why I Love Bodyguards. I guess Burke and McKinley will be getting their story sooner rather than later. Β I’ll see what I can do about getting the first installment written for you all tomorrow. I have to go back and read Why I Love Geeks to make sure I get them right…lol

I hope you all are safe and warm. If you live in an area hit by the storm, I hope you have power and are okay. Have a great Monday and thank you for voting.

Available in Print….

Chasing the King of the Mountains is available in print now. It’s the second of the International Men of Sports series I’m co-authoring with Devon Rhodes. (As if you didn’t know that already…lol)

Also, Unconventional in Atlanta is out in print. πŸ™‚ So we’ll have both available at GRL in October for those of you who are coming.

And we’ve got approval on more Sports stories, so I really hope you are enjoying them. At the moment, it looks like we have stories scheduled out through 2016. Yes, 2016…lol. A lot of sports and a lot of stories. But of course, things are subject to change, so don’t mark that down in ink just yet. Now those are just the ones we told our editor about. We’ve come up with a few more since then, but we’re going to finish a couple before we add any more…lol.

Well, I have to get writing. I hope you all have a marvelous weekend and enjoy yourselves.

Unconventional in Atlanta available now….

The 2013 GRL anthology, Unconventional in Atlanta, is now available for general release at Total e-Bound. Click here to check it out. πŸ™‚ Β All the usual suspects are here again this year with a little twist. All six of the stories take place at the hotel hosting GRL this year, and at least one main character in each story works at the hotel as well. In addition, all of the main characters make an appearance in each of the stories or mentioned. If you haven’t read it yet, you really should. I think it’s quite fun. πŸ™‚

Well, I’ll be busy all weekend writing furiously to try and finish up some stories. Hopefully things will flow for me and I’ll be able to get them done.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

Monday Update…and New Blog Story….

Let me introduce you to Chad, the main character in our next blog story, Nowhere Diner: Finding Peace. πŸ™‚ It was close..only four votes separated the two. But Finding Peace pulled it out in the end at 20 votes…while Why I Love Bodyguards had 16. Thank you all for voting, and I’m going to have to re-read Finding Love to refresh my memory. I’m going to try my darnedest to get you the first installment tomorrow. Just depends on if I have enough time today with the other writing I need to do. If I don’t get that done, then you’ll have a new one on Thursday for sure.

Got good news about some print releases. Chasing the King of the Mountains and Unconventional in Atlanta will be out in print in September, so those of you coming to GRL in October could bring your copies for us to sign. Stealing Life will be out in print in October, probably not in time for GRL, but still you’ll be able to get a print version of that one as well eventually. Yay!

I’m still working on some Tiffany stories, but I do plan on doing some TA stories during August, so I’ll be able to give you updates about those during the month.

Have a great day.

Chasing the King of the Mountains available…

I know I promised there’d be an installment of Hearts today, but I was gone all day and didn’t get back until very late last night. So I’m sorry that it’s not up.

But good news for those of you who didn’t pre-order or grab it during the pre-release time, Chasing the King of the Mountains is available for general release now. Β Yay! Click here to check it out. It was so much fun to write…and it comes out during the 2013 Tour de France, so you can read it, then watch the coverage of the race and maybe have some understanding about what the commentators are saying. lol. Or maybe not because I did all that research on cricket for Sticky Wicket, and I still don’t understand the game. Β At First Touch, the 3rd book in the International Sports series, will be available soon for pre-order. And Devon and I are hard at work on book 4, Blindsided.

Also, the second annual GRL convention anthology, Unconventional in Atlanta, is available for pre-release download. You buy it today at a discounted price, you can read it today. πŸ™‚ Check it out here. Β It’s fun to read because it takes place in Atlanta at the very hotel GRL will be at this year, during GRL. And all the stories have at least one main character who works at the hotel. So the stories are inter-releated and you’ll see characters from the other stories interact with each other throughout the anthology. It was a lot of fun to write.

Finally, I did an interview with Female First (from the UK). If you click here, you can check it out.

I promise next week I’ll be on the ball, and get those installments done on time.

I hope you all have a marvelous and safe 4th of July weekend.

New Cover….

the last couple of Fridays I’ve been neglectful about posting Sorry about that. I get busy with other things, and while I think about posting, I never actually get around to it. So I thought I’d sit and put something up while I’m thinking about it. πŸ™‚

This is the cover for my story in the Unconventional in Atlanta anthology. It goes up for pre-order on July 5th…and will be general release in August. Again, they’ll release all the stories separately around November and December. Mine comes out in December on its own. I love this cover because it fits perfectly with the story. πŸ™‚

Also, Stealing Life is up for VIP pre-release now. If you didn’t get it when it was available at the other publisher, well…now’s your time. It’s discounted as well. πŸ™‚ For those of you who already bought it before, you don’t need to pick this up unless you love the new cover…lol. Which I love both covers this story has gotten. πŸ™‚ The only difference in this version is I pared it down a little. so it’s a little shorter than the original version, but not by much. πŸ™‚

I’m working on Every Shattered Dream and At First Touch today…hoping to get both of them wrapped up in the next couple of days, so I can get back to work on Restoration Project and a few other short stories I want to finish up.

Have a great day, everyone.

New Cover….

This is the cover for my MLR Mixed Tape story, Sharp Dressed Man. It’ll be releasing on June 7th…and I thought I’d share the blurb for it, which as you all know isn’t something I do very often. And it’s not because I’m trying to be mysterious or want to make you look at other pages on my website. Though I’d like if you took a tour through it once in a while…lol. Mostly I don’t post blurbs because I don’t think about it. You’re probably thinking..Lady, that’s crazy. How am I supposed to know if I want the book if I have no idea what the book’s about?

And you’d be right. So I’m going to try and do better about posting blurbs to go with my covers. πŸ™‚ I got another awesome cover today besides this one for the single release version of my GRL Unconventional in Atlanta story. But I’ll share that with you on Friday. I also got the cover for the second book in my m/f Fallen series (written as Tiffany Aaron)…and I’d like to share it with everyone, if you don’t mind. πŸ™‚ But that will be another day.

Okay…so Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top is obviously the theme song for this story. πŸ™‚ It’s about two best friends who, after twenty-five years, finally admit they’re in love with each other.

Jim Stanton and Daniel Perkins fell in love with each other at a ZZ Top concert in 1987, though they never admitted it. After graduation, they let their love slip away, but never forgot. Their 25th class reunion gives them the chance to correct the mistake.Β

Hope you think it’s interesting enough to pick up. πŸ™‚

Have a great day…and yes there will be Hearts on the Line action tomorrow. πŸ™‚
