New Week…Same stuff…
Well…sort of the same stuff. Devon and I finished At First Touch on Friday, and I just signed the contract for it. I also just saw the cover art for it…and I love it. It’ll fit in so well with the other two. I can’t wait to see these books in print. I’ll share the cover with everyone as soon as Devon gets a chance to okay it. π She’s probably sleeping right now since she lives out on the West Coast. We’ll be starting our Australian book in a day or two. This one features a rugby player and a life guard. Woo-hoo!
My goal for this week is to finish up Every Shattered Dream, do three interviews for some other blogs, write up a guest blog post, do first round edits on Reno (my second Tiffany Aaron book) and see if I can’t finish up Restoration Project. Plus various other real life appointments I have. So it’s going to be a very busy week, but I think I can do it.
I had a great time at Motor City Pride in Detroit on Saturday. Hung out with some awesome people and gave away all my promo stuff. Definitely have to order even more for next year. π
I hope you all have a marvelous Monday.
Sharp Dressed Man is available…
I realize this isn’t what you would like to see today on my blog. π Devon and I are one sex scene away from finishing At First Touch, because we worked on it all night until my wrist couldn’t take any more typing. So I wasn’t able to get Hearts done for you, but for those of you who haven’t heard my Mixed Tape story is out at MLR Press. Sharp Dressed Man is available and if you click here, you can check it out. It’s available as a single release or you can get six stories in Volume 1 of the Mixed Tape Collection.
It’s a short story about two guys who were best friends in high school, but neither of them would admit they loved the other. So at their 25th reunion, they run into each other and sparks fly. π
I have to finish up Dream Part 5, and edits on my Tiffany Aaron book, Reno. But I will get you the next installment of Hearts on Tuesday, I promise. π I hope you all have a great weekend. I’ll be at Motor City Pride in Detroit on Saturday, if any of you are in the area. Come see me. π
New Cover….
the last couple of Fridays I’ve been neglectful about posting stuff..lol. Sorry about that. I get busy with other things, and while I think about posting, I never actually get around to it. So I thought I’d sit and put something up while I’m thinking about it. π
This is the cover for my story in the Unconventional in Atlanta anthology. It goes up for pre-order on July 5th…and will be general release in August. Again, they’ll release all the stories separately around November and December. Mine comes out in December on its own. I love this cover because it fits perfectly with the story. π
Also, Stealing Life is up for VIP pre-release now. If you didn’t get it when it was available at the other publisher, well…now’s your time. It’s discounted as well. π For those of you who already bought it before, you don’t need to pick this up unless you love the new cover…lol. Which I love both covers this story has gotten. π The only difference in this version is I pared it down a little. so it’s a little shorter than the original version, but not by much. π
I’m working on Every Shattered Dream and At First Touch today…hoping to get both of them wrapped up in the next couple of days, so I can get back to work on Restoration Project and a few other short stories I want to finish up.
Have a great day, everyone.
New Cover….
This is the cover for my MLR Mixed Tape story, Sharp Dressed Man. It’ll be releasing on June 7th…and I thought I’d share the blurb for it, which as you all know isn’t something I do very often. And it’s not because I’m trying to be mysterious or want to make you look at other pages on my website. Though I’d like if you took a tour through it once in a while…lol. Mostly I don’t post blurbs because I don’t think about it. You’re probably thinking..Lady, that’s crazy. How am I supposed to know if I want the book if I have no idea what the book’s about?
And you’d be right. So I’m going to try and do better about posting blurbs to go with my covers. π I got another awesome cover today besides this one for the single release version of my GRL Unconventional in Atlanta story. But I’ll share that with you on Friday. I also got the cover for the second book in my m/f Fallen series (written as Tiffany Aaron)…and I’d like to share it with everyone, if you don’t mind. π But that will be another day.
Okay…so Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top is obviously the theme song for this story. π It’s about two best friends who, after twenty-five years, finally admit they’re in love with each other.
Blurb:
Jim Stanton and Daniel Perkins fell in love with each other at a ZZ Top concert in 1987, though they never admitted it. After graduation, they let their love slip away, but never forgot. Their 25th class reunion gives them the chance to correct the mistake.Β
Hope you think it’s interesting enough to pick up. π
Have a great day…and yes there will be Hearts on the Line action tomorrow. π
Ghost of a Chance is available again….
MLR Press has re-released Ghost of a Chance today. Click here to check it out. It’s just been re-edited, so if Β you already have it, you don’t need to pick it up. π
And I want to thank all of you for making No Going Home, Leaving Home, and A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood all best sellers at ARe. Also, they’re doing great at Amazon as well, which amazes me. π Β So thank you all again.
I’ll be writing all weekend to get some stories done that need to be turned in next week. π
I hope you all have a great weekend, and for those of you who are mothers, have an awesome Mother’s Day.
Back from RT…
I’m back from RT. I had a marvelous time getting to see all my friends and meeting new ones. π
While I was gone, I had a new release come out. I’d forgotten that Total e-Bound was changing their release day from Monday to Friday. So, A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood came out on Friday and is all ready zooming up the Bestseller chart at ARe. π Click here to check it out. It’s only .99 cents right now because Total e-Bound is also starting a new program First in a Series, where they’re taking select series and marking the first book in it at .99 cents, so people who haven’t given it a try can pick it up. No Going Home is also only .99 cents. So if any of you have friends who might have hesitated to read NGH before, this might be a good incentive for them to try now. lol
I will have the next installment of Hearts up and ready to read for you tomorrow. π And for any who might be wondering, no…you didn’t miss any story on Edward from the Home series. I haven’t written one yet, though I’m hoping to do so next year.
Have a great day, everyone. π
Leaving Home is available….
The fourth book in the Home series, Leaving Home, is now available for general release. π Yay! I’m so excited to have you all (who didn’t get it while it was available for pre-release download) to read Chaz and Peter’s story. π All your old friends make an appearance. Click here to check it out.
More great news. Home Sweet Home, which is the last book in the series…and I think the most highly anticipated story of the series, is now available for pre-release download. If you’re a VIP, you can buy HSH and read it today…before anyone else is able to. π It’s Juan and Yancey’s story…and I really hope you love it. click here to check it out.
Oh…and Devon Rhodes and I are having a contest over at Stumbling Over Chaos. (All right, Devon set it all up. I’m just riding on her coat tails…lol) One lucky commenter will win a copy of A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood. π Yay!
All right. I think that’s all the news I have today. I’m still going to try to get at least tomorrow’s installment done. I don’t want to leave Baxter and Addison hanging in the hallway…lol
I hope you all have a great Monday…and everything. π
New Cover….
This is the cover for the second International Men of Sports book, Chasing the King of the Mountains. As you might be able to tell, it takes place in France during the Tour de France. Pascal Durant is a pro cyclist riding in his last Tour, and trying to win one of the coveted jerseys. He wants the polka-dot jersey that will proclaim him King of the Mountains. Laurant Desrochers (and I’m sure I’m spelling that wrong…lol) is France’s version of Anderson Cooper, and he’s Pascal’s best friend. Oh, and both of the men are in their 40s.
So, you have sports (though not the usual suspects). You have friends-to-lovers, and you have older men getting together. π I hope we’ve managed to hit on some topic you’ll be interested in.
This one will be up for pre-order on May 24th, and pre-relase shortly there after. Then the general release is in July, I believe. π
Devon and I are hard at work on the third book, At First Touch, which takes place in Germany and features two teammates on a soccer (football) team. Yay!
Next week, I leave on Tuesday to head to Kansas City for the Romantic Times convention. I will do my level best to post at least the next two installments of Hearts on Tuesday and Thursday. I’m actually going to try and get them written by Monday, so I can schedule them. π But please don’t get upset if I don’t get them up. If not, the story will resume as usual on the following Tuesday.
I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.
