The Whore of New Slum is available now at Amber Allure. Click here to check it out. It’s my first attempt at Steampunk, so I’m not sure how will I achieved it, but I liked the story. 🙂 Remember if you buy all five books in the PAX, you’ll get them for a discount. And there are some really good books in the PAX.

I’ll be writing all day again…lol. When am I not writing? But it’s something I love to do, so I can’t complain.

I hope you all had a great weekend and have a wonderful Monday. 🙂

Wednesday Work in Progress…

tumblr_m9hmhnWbLE1qeadajo1_500

I know it’s Thursday, but everything got pushed back a day..lol. Plus I didn’t have a chance to write the next installment last night. So I decided to give you a sneak peek at my story for the 2013 GRL anthology. This anthology is going to be a little different from last year’s but I think you’re all going to enjoy it.

Also, I’ll have a new cover to reveal to you on Monday. 🙂 Can’t wait to see what you all think. This is the last bit I wrote yesterday.

Here’s the excerpt:

The Occasional Prostitute copyright c. 2013 T.A. Chase

‘Ha. Thought you’d like him. Young and hot, but a good guy as well.’

‘Does he have to be a good guy? Can’t he be just a good fuck?’ He sent the message, then looked up to see Gib shooing the last stragglers out of the bar. Gib caught him looking, and waved.

‘Good one, Masters. I would’ve sent you to a different guy if I thought you just wanted a fuck.’

Was he that easy to read? He didn’t like anonymous sex much any more. Maybe it was because he was forty, and was feeling his age. ‘I’m not looking for anything serious, Chen.’

‘Keep telling yourself that. Have a good time. Call you later in the week to see how you’re doing.’

He knew he wouldn’t be getting anything else from Chen. They’ve been friends since college, and they’d chased bed partners together, yet it was more than that. They’d both come from privileged backgrounds, but didn’t want to follow in their fathers’ footsteps. Chen had become one of the world’s most sought after neurosurgeons. He’d made a fortune in his job, but he also travelled the world, performing pro-bono surgeries for charities and poverty-stricken countries. Chen’s father had wanted him to be a corporate lawyer.

Edwin turned his back on his father’s well thought out plan for his only son’s political career. He had no interest in following in his father’s career. No, Edwin wanted excitement and the pursuit of truth. He became a journalist to try and keep governments honest. It didn’t always work, but he did his best while dodging bullets and being taken hostage. His father kept trying to get him involved in his campaigns, and other people Edwin Masters Sr supported. He managed to stay away from picking anyone. As a reporter, he had to remain neutral, much to his father’s disappointment.

He didn’t understand Chen’s last text. Keep telling himself that he wasn’t looking for anything serious? But he wasn’t. Mostly because he was in Atlanta for two weeks, then he was off to some other war-torn countries. He didn’t want to leave someone behind who would hurt if he died.

And he didn’t want his life restricted by having someone else dependent on him. Edwin enjoyed flying around the world, reporting from exotic places. He returned to the States to remind himself that there were modern conveniences out there, then he got a new assignment and headed out again.

Having a relationship would put a damper on those adventures, and Edwin didn’t think he was ready to stop taking them.

“Are you ready?”

Glancing up, he saw Gib standing a few feet away, holding a bag. Edwin tucked his phone away, then stood.

“Yes, I am.”

“Sorry about making you wait and all, but having an honest job sucks.” Gib laughed as he led the way to the elevator.

Edwin let his gaze drop to study Gib’s ass, flexing under the tight fabric of Gib’s black pants. His hands itched to grab a handful of that bubble butt, but he kept himself under control. Being an adult, he could control himself until they got to his room.

Once they were alone in the elevator, Gib turned to look at him. Edwin watched as Gib stepped closer and closer until his chest pressed against Edwin’s. He didn’t think Gib was trying to intimidate him, and if he was, it wouldn’t have worked. Some of the most powerful men in the world had tried to do that, and while Gib was drop-dead gorgeous, he really wasn’t as scary as a crazy dictator with several armed bodyguards.

“Do you like to kiss?”

Gib’s question caught him off guard. “Do I like to kiss?”

Gib nodded. “Some of my clients don’t like to kiss. I’m okay with that, though I love to kiss.”

Edwin didn’t respond with words. He encircled Gib’s waist with his arm, then pulled him as close as they could get with their clothes still on. After burying his hand in Gib’s curls, he tilted Gib’s head for a better angle, then brought their lips together.

Gasping, Gib melted into Edwin’s embrace, seemingly willing to give himself over to Edwin. He nibbled on Gib’s bottom lip, trying to persuade him to open. He leant forward, bending Gib over his arm, and forcing Gib to grab a hold of Edwin’s shoulders to keep his balance.

When Gib moaned, Edwin swept his tongue in, tasting Gib for the first time. He must’ve had a drink at some point before he came to get Edwin, since he found a hint of hops in Gib’s mouth as he duelled with and sucked on Gib’s tongue.

Sorry…have a ton of edits

chris_kluwe4_out

Hey everyone, I’m sure you’re wondering where the next installment for the blog story is. Well, unfortunately, I didn’t get to it last night. I have a bunch of edits to do on Stealing Life, Home Sweet Home, and finishing up edits on Sticky Wicket. I’m going to try and get them done today, then hopefully I can do the installment. If not, it might not be until Thursday and Friday that you get the next two installments. 🙁 Sorry.

Also, for Erika S. and anyone else who was wondering, the only one of the first three Home books that has been added to is Wishing for a Home. I had to add about 5-6k to get it long enough to go into print like the other ones. I’m not sure if that’s enough of a difference to be able to tell when you read the new version. I understand anyone who is on a budget for books, so I guess I’d say save your money for Leaving Home and Home Sweet Home. Then if you get a little extra cash, maybe pick up Wishing. 🙂

I hope you all have a great day while I spend mine in editing mode.

Home of His Own available now….

homeofhisown_800

Home of His Own is available now at Total e-Bound, if you didn’t pick it up the first time it was out. Click here to check it out. 🙂 This will be available in print at some point in the near future as well.

1400x2100Dreaming_of_Dragons

Dreaming of Dragons was re-released by MLR Press on Friday. Just re-edited as well, but it will be available in print at some point. 🙂 Yay! Click here to check it out.

Home Sweet Home was turned in on Thursday night. Yay! It’ll be out in May..and up for pre-order in the next couple of months. The Home series was the first series I ever started writing. Of course, it’s taken seven long years to get it done. I appreciate all of you sticking with me and bugging me every chance you got about Yancey and Juan. I hope you feel I did their story justice when you get to read it.

I’m working on my GRL anthology story, The Occasional Prostitute, and I’m hoping to get that done in the next couple of days. Then I’ll be working on the second book in the International Men of Sports series that I’m co-authoring with Devon Rhodes, which is titled Chasing the King of the Mountains. It’s about a French cyclist and a French reporter, and takes place during the Tour de France. As you can tell, we’re trying to feature sports that might not always get spotlighted in stories, and we wanted sports that are popular in a particular country. Cricket in India, Cycling in France, Soccer/Football in Germany, Rugby in Australia, Curling and Hockey in Canada, and Beach Volleyball in Brazil.

Also, I’ll be working on Thieves, the last book in The Beasor Chronicles, and at some point next week, I’ll be starting Pray for the Thunder, a short story for MLR Press. 🙂 So while it looks like I have a bunch of stuff to do (and I do), I think I have it under control.

Of course, I’ll have edits mixed in there…lol. I actually have edits on Stealing Life, which will be re-released by Total e-Bound on July 1st, and within the next day or two, I’ll have edits for Home Sweet Home. But edits are okay. They don’t take nearly as long as writing the books themselves. (usually)

Okay, so I hope you all have a good Monday. Those who were hardest hit by the snowstorm, I hope you’re all safe and sound. Digging out is crappy.

Postponed until Friday

Hey everyone, I didn’t get the newest installment of the blog story done because I’m trying like heck to finish up Home Sweet Home….which I plan on doing today. So I’m pretty sure there will be an installment tomorrow. Just depends on how long it takes me to get the 6-7k I need to end Home right. 🙂

I hope you all have a great day.

Wednesday Works In Progress….

tumblr_m9hmhnWbLE1qeadajo1_500

Another Wednesday…which can only mean another sneak peek at one of my upcoming stories. 🙂 And since I’m finishing up Home Sweet Home, I thought I’d give you one last peek at it before I send it off to my editor. You’ll be able to pre-order it in April…and get it on pre-release in early May (if you’re a VIP member at Total e-Bound) And pick it up on general release at the end of May. But here you go…I thought I’d give you a hot excerpt this time.

Home Sweet Home copyright c. 2013 T.A. Chase

“I am, but not too tired to make love with my boyfriend. You’re going to be really busy all weekend, so I want us to have some alone time before all the craziness starts.” He gripped Juan’s hips, then thrust his groin up against Juan’s. “I want you to fuck me. You don’t have to worry about stretching me. I did while I was in the bathroom.”

Juan’s eyes grew wide, and Yancey chuckled. “I didn’t want to waste any time. I really want you in me.”

He spread his legs, and Juan shifted until he was in between them, then Yancey grabbed behind his knees to draw them close to his chest, exposing his stretched and well-lubed hole.

“Oh fuck me,” Juan whispered when he looked at Yancey.

“No, that’s what I want you to do to me,” Yancey joked.

Juan just rolled his eyes as he found the lube bottle Yancey had set on the mattress. Yancey let go of one of his thighs to start jerking himself off. Juan swore softly, then positioned his cock at Yancey’s opening.

Yancey relaxed while Juan pushed in until Juan’s pubic hair rasped against Yancey’s butt. Each of them took a deep breath, then Juan began to move. With each thrust, Yancey lifted his hips to meet them and the sound of their bodies coming together filled the air.

Juan held his body at just the right angle for Yancey’s cock to rub over his stomach, and it drove Yancey crazy. His lover was hitting his gland with each stroke in and out. All Yancey could do was hold on to Juan’s shoulders while enjoying the ride.

“Shit! Yancey, you’re so fucking tight.” Juan grunted and Yancey moaned.

Yancey couldn’t say anything because the air in his lungs was being driven out of him each time Juan slammed into him. He threw his head back, and yelled silently as his climax rocketed through him. His cum shot from his dick to cover his and Juan’s stomachs.

His inner channel massaged Juan’s shaft, then Juan came, flooding him with hot cum. Juan collapsed on him, and Yancey entwined his arms and legs around Juan, holding him as close as he could without them inhabiting the same body.

He didn’t tell Juan to move or anything like that. Yancey loved the feeling of being pressed into the mattress by his lover. It felt like he was surrounded and safe. Finally, Juan’s softened cock slid from Yancey, then Juan rolled onto his side, still in Yancey’s embrace though.

“I love you, Yancey MacCafferty,” Juan told him.

Yancey grinned. “I love you as well, Juan Romanos. Now we both need to get to sleep, or you’ll be dead on your feet in the morning.”

Juan mumbled something, and Yancey could tell Juan was already half asleep. Yancey wiggled free of Juan’s arms, then reached for the towel he’d left beside the bed. He did a quick clean up of both of them. Just enough so they wouldn’t be too sticky in the morning.

After dropping the towel to the floor, he snuggled up to Juan, and let his even breathing lull him to sleep.

Happy Snowy Monday….

This weekend was good. Got some writing done on Home Sweet Home. Over halfway done. Yay! Hoping to get it done this week. Will be starting my short story for the next GRL anthology this week as well. Then Devon Rhodes and I will be working on the second International Men of Sports book, Chasing the King of the Mountains. 🙂 Can’t wait to dive into both of them.

It’s snowing out. Not heavy or anything, but I get the feeling it’s going to be going on most of the day. Wish I could just stay in and curl up with my laptop. Hate going out when it’s cold and snowy.

I hope you all had a great weekend, and a good safe Monday.

A Sticky Wicket is done…

nick_beyeler_2

Good news…A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood is finished and turned in. Just waiting on the contract, so we can sign it and get editing on it. 🙂 I also turned in Stealing Life…it’ll be re-released July 1st.

Devon and I have already started plotting out the second book in the International Men of Sports series. The second one is about a French Cyclist and a French reporter. It takes place during the Tour de France. Yay! It’s tentatively titled Chasing the King of the Mountains (since King of the Mountains is a title you can win during the Tour…and you get to wear a polka dot jersey if you do win it.)

Our goal with this series is to take the reader to exotic (or at least interesting) locales, and introduce you to sports that the people in those countries play. We aren’t focusing on American sports either, though one story will have a hockey player in it. (which isn’t truly an American sport…lol)

So our second book takes place in France and focuses on cycling. The third is Germany/soccer(football). 4th: Australia/rugby…5th: Canada/curling/hockey….6th: Brazil/beach volleyball. At least one main character will play the sport featured, though in Germany and Canada, they’ll both be athletes.

We hadn’t planned on the books being long enough to go into print on their own. At first, we planned on grouping them together, two at a time. But Sticky Wicket took on a life of its own, and suddenly we were over the 50k mark, so now each book will also be coming out in print individually.

Now that I’ve given you the scoop on the International series, I’ll let you know that Home Sweet Home is moving along. I’m hoping to be able to sub it next week some time. Yay! Then it’s on to a bunch of stories and the last book in The Beasor Chronicles, Thieves.

I hope you all have a great weekend…and if you’re going to watch the Super Bowl, hope it’s a good game for you. 🙂

Wednesday Work In Progress…

Today I thought I’d share with you an excerpt from A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood, the collaboration between Devon Rhodes and yours truly. My character is Ajay Singh, and he’s one of India’s top cricket players. He’s a pretty good guy, but he has a bit of a temper, and it’s been known to cause him trouble from time to time. Here you go….

A Sticky Wicket in Bollywood. (copyright c. 2013 Devon Rhodes & T.A. Chase)

Excerpt:

Ajay backed away from Neel, who had jumped to his feet and was uncharacteristically crowding in Ajay’s face. Neel had never reacted this way to Ajay talking to anyone before

“I didn’t think it was that important for you to know I talked to Raj. We’re just meeting for chai, Neel. It’s not like we’re going on a date or anything.” Ajay took a few steps back, trying to put space between them.

“Of course, you couldn’t date him. Rajan isn’t about to come out of the closet for a lover, not now when he’s at the top of the Bollywood world,” Neel commented.

“What’s your problem, Neel? I’ve never seen you act this way. If I’d known you’d do this, I wouldn’t have told you the truth about where I’m going. And what do you mean out of the closet? I never said that Rajan was gay.” Ajay shook his head. “I’ll see you tomorrow at the stadium for practise.”

He shoved his way through the crowd, not really paying attention to who he ran into or if anyone was snapping a picture of him being rude to the dancers. All he wanted was to get out of the club and away from Neel at that moment.

Once he was outside, he flagged down a cab, then climbed in. He told the driver to take him to Cafe Pringa. As the vehicle pulled from the kerb, he spotted Neel bursting out of the club. Ajay grimaced at Neel’s crazy actions. There was something going on with his friend, but Ajay didn’t have time to figure it out.

All he wanted to focus on was being able to see Raj in person for the first time since that unfortunate argument. Ajay rested his head against the cool glass of the window, and admitted to himself that he probably could’ve seen Raj a long time ago, if he’d returned any of the messages Raj had left on his phone. His stubborn pride and fiery temper made it impossible for him to say he was sorry.

With age came maturity and a certain amount of wisdom, and Ajay was finally ready to face the mistakes he’d made in the past. Maybe when he did that, he’d be able to move on and find something good in his future, though he doubted that whatever was waiting for him would be better than the perfect relationship he’d let slip away when he was young and foolish.

The cab stopped in front of Cafe Pringa, and Ajay sat, staring at the late night crowd. Did he have the courage to step out of the vehicle and go face the man he’d never forgotten? Could he find the strength to ask for forgiveness?

Raj had to have some kind of fondness for Ajay, if Ajay could use Raj’s actions of calling him back and agreeing to meet him as evidence.

“Are you getting out, sir?”

The driver’s question jolted Ajay, and he nodded. After paying the man, he shoved open the door, then climbed out. His phone beeped and he looked down to see a text.

‘are you here yet? Found a table outside in the corner.’

Ajay could lie and say he’d gotten caught in traffic, or something had come up and he wouldn’t be able to make it. He stared at the words as they shook slightly from the trembling of his hand. No. He wouldn’t do that. It was time to face his past, and hopefully regain a friend who had meant far more than anyone else ever had.

They Walk Among Us is available now…

TheyWalkAmongUs

I posted some places yesterday, but in case you didn’t hear, They Walk Among Us is now available at Amber Allure. Click here to go check it out. 🙂 Or you can browse my website to see what else is coming out soon.

Anyway this weekend was a great writing weekend. I did two real-time writing sessions with Devon Rhodes (which meant I stayed up really late since she’s like three hours behind me…lol) but we achieve two 10k+ days in a row, and our book is now over 34k. Which is awesome because it means we’re actually going to be bumping the word count up to 50k+, and our book will be out in print. Since it’s the first in a series of six books, that means all of them will be in print as well. Woot!

I really can’t wait for you to meet my cricket player…and Devon’s Bollywood actor. I think they’re wonderful together. 🙂

Also, I got a good amount written on Home Sweet Home as well, and it’s moving along at a good pace. Hoping this week will get me even more words.

Well, it snowed last night and the world outside is snowy/icy. Might be a good day to stay inside and write, but I do have some errands to run. So I’m going to write for a little while, then head out into the cold world (lol) to get what I need.

Have a marvelous Monday, everyone.
