Holiday weekend

I should have written this post last night when I remembered what I wanted to tell everyone. This morning, I have no idea. lol Maybe it’s too early in the morning and I’ll think of it later on. Who knows?

Anyway, today I plan on finishing up Under My Bed. The last sex scene was written and I just need to add the epilogue, then fill out the forms and send it on its merry way. After that, I have to go back and add 8k or so to Pestilence. That’s to make sure it’s long enough to go into print. War is next to be worked on. Oh, and Bandit’s story, Love’s Baggage is up after War. I know I said Rover’s story was next, but in my schedule, it works out for Bandit’s to be next.

I’m also writing up synopsis for a short story and another series to send into TeB. Hopefully, if they like it, they’ll pre-schedule them for me like they did the other Horsemen books. Also, the sequel to Out of Light into Darkness needs the synopsis written. I’m hoping to work on them this weekend.

I hope you all have a great Friday and a safe holiday weekend. Be careful if you’re driving anywhere.

Out of Light into Darkness…..

is available now at Total e-Bound. Click here to check it out. Also, Ms. Jambrea Jones, who posts on my blog regularly, has a m/f out at TeB as well. 🙂

I thought I’d post the blurb for you all. OoLiD is a vampire story set in a world where humans are considered cattle and vampires rule.

In a world where humans are treated like cattle, one man must find the courage to love and heal the vampire who owns him.

Andor’s been a vampire for centuries and has never experienced weakness in his long life. Yet something runs through his blood, bringing darkness to his sight and his world. His herd of humans has been compromised by a rival, yet there is one man whose blood is pure. Unfortunately for Andor, Sven ran away from him months ago.

Sven left Andor’s herd when he realised Andor would never see him as anything other than a blood donor. Being dragged back like a spoiled child doesn’t sit well with him until he discovers Andor needs him.

Blindness and danger swirl around Andor and Sven as they deal with their own attraction. Will Sven’s blood and love be enough to keep Andor from slipping further into the darkness threatening to claim the vampire?

I hope you all have a great Monday.

New Cover….

I thought I’d share the newest cover with everyone. This is for Wolf’s Survival (obviously…lol) coming out Sept. 26th from Amber Allure. I like it.

Oh, and on Friday, I’ll share the cover for Out of Light into Darkness with everyone. Woo-hoo! It looks good and is one of three books I’ll have out in August.

Writing is going well. I’m in the home stretch of I Call Death Dad and will have to figure out which story to work on after I finish it up. I love trying to decide which of my guys to listen to for a while. 😉

I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

Out of Light into Darkness….

So I told you on Wednesday that Total e-Bound contracted my other blind vampire story, Out of Light into Darkness. I’ve got a release date of Oct. 4th for it, but like all dates, nothing’s set in stone until it actually comes out…lol. 🙂

I thought I’d share the unedited blurb with you all. Here you go:

In a world where humans are treated like cattle by vampires, one human must find the courage to love and help the vampire who owns him.

Andor’s been a vampire for centuries and has never experienced weakness in his long life. Yet something runs through his blood, bringing darkness to his sight and his world. His herd of humans has been compromised by a rival, yet there is one man whose blood remains pure. Unfortunately for Andor, Sven ran away from him months ago.

Sven left Andor’s herd when he realised Andor would never see him as anything other than a blood donor. Being dragged back like a spoiled child doesn’t set well with him until he discovers Andor needs him.

Blindness and danger swirls around Andor and Sven as they deal with their own attraction. Will Sven’s blood and love be enough to keep Andor from slipping into the darkness threatening to claim the vampire?

I did some writing yesterday, so all in all, it was a good day.

I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

Wednesday Wisdom…

This is the miracle that happens every time to those who really love: the more they give, the more they possess. -Rainer Maria Rilke

Rilke is one of my favorite poets. 🙂

Writing went well last night, so I’m happy with the progress I’m making. Yay!

I realized something last night. I’ve been offered a contract on Out of Light into Darkness by Total e-Bound. I’ll give you more information on that on Friday. (not meaning to tease or anything like that) But with this one coming out this year as well, I’ll have fourteen books out this year. Not including my print book, Tabloid Love. Which is two more than last year (if you don’t count my other print release, Playing the Game).

Woot! My goal every year has always been to have at least one more book out than I did the year before. I do realize that I can reach a point where that won’t be possible…lol. But I haven’t gotten to it yet. So there’s always another goal for me. 🙂

I hope you all have a wicked Wednesday.

Covers Galore!!!

Here’s the cover for Dracul’s Blood, my first collaboration with Carol Lynne. It’ll be out on June 28th at Total e-Bound. Isn’t it yummy?

And the second cover I received the other day. Bastet will be out June 6th at Amber Allure. 🙂 This cover is simple, but elegant. Totally perfect for the story. I love the statue.

Well, Out of Light into Darkness has been submitted to a different publisher. The first one passed on it. Which is cool with me. It just didn’t work for them. And that happens sometimes. I’ll find the right fit for the story at some point.

But I’ve been doing some re-working on it, so I haven’t been able to work as much as I’d like on Restoration Project and Bound by Trust. Now that OoLiD is done and out there again, I can focus on the other two…along with Anarchy in Blood, the second book with Carol.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Hopefully, it will start warming up soon. I plan on writing this weekend. 🙂

Wednesday yet again…

I borrowed this picture from Jambrea. It was nice of her to post it where I could get it…lol.

I subbed my second blind vampire story. It might seem a little weird to write two in a row, but I’ll tell you what. They are two totally different stories. Not Seeing is Believing is a fun short story about two men who meet and fall in love while dealing with some issues. There’s not a lot of angst in it. Out of Light into Darkness is gritty, more urban fantasy feel to it. It’s definitely not as light and funny as Not Seeing. 🙂

They went to different publishers…obviously…and as soon as I hear anything, I’ll let you all know.

Now it’s on to JT’s story and a story that I need to get done by June 1st. Once the June 1st one is done, I’ll probably add Rover’s story to my calendar for all of you who have asked for his book…lol.

I hope you all have a great Hump day.

Digging out….

Okay…so we didn’t get as much snow as the people on the East Coast, but there was enough snow here to delay me getting into work. 🙂 Which I’m not complaining about, really.

I finished a new story yesterday. Be the Air for You is about a rock star and his best friend who is dealing with some life altering problems. It’ll be released at Amber Allure on May 9th. 🙂 Woo-hoo!

Oh and I got the cover for Wishing for a Home. It’s awesome. Check it out at SiN. I’ll post it on Friday along with another excerpt to whet everyone’s appetite for Derek and Max’s story.

I’m back to working on Out of Light into Darkness…a vampire story with a twist. I’m hoping I’ll get it done by the end of the month.

Hmmm…that’s all I can think of to update you about. I hope you all have a safe and warm Wednesday.

Happy New Year…

Wow…where did 2009 go?

It turned out to be a good year for me after all. I had thirteen books released this past year. And I also wrote thirteen books for a total of over 400,000 words. Yay! Best writing year, word wise, ever. 🙂

We have a break this month since I don’t have a book coming out, but starting in Feb. I have four books out in three months. That’s always a good way to start the year off right.

I did some writing on Deviants, but I also worked on Out of Light into Darkness, which is the book I’ll hopefully finish next…or it’ll be the first book finished in 2010.

I hope you all had a great holiday and have a marvelous 2010.
