Archive for Eye Candy

The end of the week…

I don’t have anything new to talk about…lol. Kind of been a boring week. Just working and writing. Sad story of my life. πŸ˜€ And I plan on writing all weekend as well. Have to get closer to finishing a couple of these stories soon.

Oh, and Lynn, about not naming the next Sports book, Tight End…it was tempting, but Matt is a defensive player, so Tight End wouldn’t work. And I try not to do suggestive titles, though it was pointed out that Soothe the Burn could have two different meanings, depending on how you look at it. πŸ˜‰

Enjoy the eye candy and have a great Friday. Keep safe and have fun over the weekend as well.

Middle of the week blues…

Ugh! Is it Friday yet? Not that it really matters, but for some reason, this week is going by so slowly. πŸ™‚ Maybe if I just stare at this picture long enough, I’ll forget all the other junk…lol.

Woo-hoo! Wishing for a Home has hit the Coming Soon section at Liquid Silver. I posted the blurb there if you’d like to refresh your memory about Derek and Max. πŸ™‚ I can’t wait to see what the cover looks like for this one.

I did a little writing on Trailing Air, the next Preternaturals book, and Defensive End, the next Love of Sports book, yesterday. Along with one or two other stories I’ve been working on as well. As much as I know I need to focus on one book and finish it, my mind isn’t letting me. So I’m rolling with the punches and taking whatever characters want to talk to me at the time I’m able to write. We’ll see which one gets done first…lol.

I guess I should start my work day. Yay! Take care and have a great Wednesday.

Winter can be over…

any time now. I’m tired of it and the cold. Of course, I hate cold weather anyway, so I get annoyed by it very easily…lol. Just really hate driving in it.

Working on various stories…and made some good progress on them. It’s always nice to see a story reaching the end, though it’s sad to say good-bye to the characters because I fall in love with each other (a little) as I bring them into being.

Well, it’s time to start my day job….so I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Monday. Hopefully, you’re warm wherever you are.

Snowy Friday

Darn it…I was hoping my boss would close for the day, so I didn’t have to navigate the bad roads and crazy drivers who believe that four wheel drive and a truck makes them invincible. *shakes head* Idiots. Those are the ones I tend to wave at as I drive past and they’re stuck in a ditch…lol. (I might be a little vindictive.)

Writing is going well. Getting stuff accomplished, but nothing’s close to be finished yet. I’m getting there though. Hopefully, I’ll get a good amount done this weekend. πŸ™‚ Just have to figure out which one to work on.

Have a great Friday and a safe weekend. Stay warm.

While you wait…

Unfortunately, it’s going to take a while for me to post the next installment of Bastet, but I’ll try to get to it today. πŸ™‚ I thought I’d post this very yummy photo…and give you a review to read.

Check out my Best Book review at Long and Short Reviews as part of their Whipped Cream reviews. It’s an awesome review and I’d like to thank Tuberose for loving With This Ring so much. πŸ˜‰

I’ll be back as soon as I can with Bastet.

It just so happens that I only had two releases at Liquid Silver last year and both are in the top three on the list. Yay! Also, With This Ring is still hanging around on Samhain’s best seller list at #4. It got to #3 before falling, but still that’s awesome. πŸ™‚

Oh and aren’t those boys so pretty? lol

I hope you all have a great Wednesday. I know I will.

Happy New Year…

Wow…where did 2009 go?

It turned out to be a good year for me after all. I had thirteen books released this past year. And I also wrote thirteen books for a total of over 400,000 words. Yay! Best writing year, word wise, ever. πŸ™‚

We have a break this month since I don’t have a book coming out, but starting in Feb. I have four books out in three months. That’s always a good way to start the year off right.

I did some writing on Deviants, but I also worked on Out of Light into Darkness, which is the book I’ll hopefully finish next…or it’ll be the first book finished in 2010.

I hope you all had a great holiday and have a marvelous 2010.

Happy Hunk Day

Okay, so I was over at my favorite place to snag pictures of gorgeous men, Beautiful. (If you do stop by there, remember it’s not Work friendly…just saying…lol) Anyway, they had several photos of these two together and I fell in love with them. They might look young, but, boy, are they pretty. So you’ll probably see them in a few pictures I post. There are two with them in suits that scream story. I’ll definitely be using them as inspiration. πŸ™‚

Let’s see….Thank you to everyone who bought With This Ring so far. It’s at #4 on Samhain’s bestseller list, which thrills me to no end. Considering I’m sharing my release day with Jess Dee, Annamarie McKenna, Mary Hughs, and Charlene Teglia. All of us made it on the bestseller lists. Go us! πŸ™‚

I’m giving myself a slight vacation. Instead of working on stories that I know I need to write (though none of them are contracted), I’m working on a story close to my heart and one that has been rattling around my head for quite a while now. I’ve always had other books that needed to be written (sequels mostly) that I’ve never had time to get to it. Well, I set this week between Christmas and New Year’s to see how far I can get on it. Once the new year begins, I’ll get back to writing the stories/sequels I need to get done. I can give you the title: Deviants Wore Pink

I hope you all have a great Wednesday. πŸ™‚

Happy Christmas Eve Eve..

Yep..two more sleeps before Christmas. I still have to wrap the presents I picked up. Guess that’s what I’ll be doing tonight. πŸ™‚

I finished another story..or so I thought. Now that I’ve had the night to think about it, I’ll be adding another chapter or two to it. One of the other stories I was working on, I ended up changing a little, simply because it wasn’t flowing the way it was. Changed things up and it’s really speeding along. Yay!

I was discussing stuff with some people yesterday and I realized that with all my releases this year, I’ve had 13 books out. Wow…I never thought I’d have that many in one year. It was a great year for me. Of course, then I got counting and I realized that I already have eight books scheduled for release in 2010. Woot! All I need are five more and I’ll hit my total for this year. Should I try to have at least one more book out next year than I did this year? That would be awesome, though you all might get tired of my books coming out every month. πŸ˜€

I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

While you’re waiting…

for me to post the next installment of Bastet…which I’m working on. πŸ™‚ You can stop by Manic Readers and check out my interview with Val. It was a lot of fun.

The next installment will be up soon. I promise. πŸ™‚
