Holy Heck!

Considering how much snow we have here….I needed something to warm me up….lol. I’d take pictures of the enormous drift in front of our front porch, but I don’t want to go outside. 🙂 So I’ll give you an idea. I’m not very tall, maybe 5′ at the most right? The drift is almost to the top of my head. I went for a little walk down my driveway to the end…and the drift in front of my driveway is up over my knee. No wonder we’ve been told to stay home. So what does C do? He goes with our friends to take one of them to work…lol. Crazy.

I’m staying home, watching movies and writing the rest of the day. The snow isn’t really supposed to taper off until later this afternoon, but it’ll still be drifting and blowing until tomorrow. Oh yay!

Yep, I’m ready for spring. Please. Thank God the groundhog didn’t see his shadow today.

I hope you all are safe and warm wherever you are. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Freakin’ Cold

Today would be a wonderful day to stay home, curl up under several blankets, and not leave the house for any reason…lol.

Last night, I wrote two love scenes for two different stories. I had two different points-of-view. One story is in 1st person. The other is in 3rd person. Two completely different plots, but I wrote them alternatingly (which isn’t a word, but I couldn’t think of the right one) I’d write a paragraph or two on one, then switch to the other. 🙂 We’ll see what it turns out like.

Have to do edits for Soothe the Burn this weekend and get those back. Yay!

Well, I hope you all are staying warm and have a great Friday.

Winter can be over…

any time now. I’m tired of it and the cold. Of course, I hate cold weather anyway, so I get annoyed by it very easily…lol. Just really hate driving in it.

Working on various stories…and made some good progress on them. It’s always nice to see a story reaching the end, though it’s sad to say good-bye to the characters because I fall in love with each other (a little) as I bring them into being.

Well, it’s time to start my day job….so I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Monday. Hopefully, you’re warm wherever you are.

Snowy Friday

Darn it…I was hoping my boss would close for the day, so I didn’t have to navigate the bad roads and crazy drivers who believe that four wheel drive and a truck makes them invincible. *shakes head* Idiots. Those are the ones I tend to wave at as I drive past and they’re stuck in a ditch…lol. (I might be a little vindictive.)

Writing is going well. Getting stuff accomplished, but nothing’s close to be finished yet. I’m getting there though. Hopefully, I’ll get a good amount done this weekend. 🙂 Just have to figure out which one to work on.

Have a great Friday and a safe weekend. Stay warm.

Soggy Monday

It’s wet and dreary outside. Perfect weather for a Monday, huh? lol

I wrote this weekend, not much but at least I made slight progress of Fight Dragons. And any progress is good progress as far as I’m concerned. 🙂 Other than that, I didn’t do much. Thank goodness the weather was nice. I’m thinking we’re paying for it now.

I hope you all are having a better (or at leats sunnier) Monday than me. 🙂

Rainy Monday

This is one of my favorite pictures of Viggo Mortonsen. I’ll have to write a story and base one of my heroes on him someday…lol. So I can go through tons of Viggo pics. 🙂

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine wasn’t bad at all. A little rainy and a little chilly, but still at least it didn’t snow. 😉 Today’s another rainy day. It would be the perfect day to stay home and write all day.

Well, it’s time to leave for work. Yay! Hope you all have a great day, even though it is a Monday.

It’s a snow day…

The snow is coming down fast and furious this morning…and it’s only going to get worse until about noon. So I’m working from home today. I thought I’d post this really quick and then I’m going back to bed to snuggle under my blankets until a more reasonable time of day. 🙂

I hope you all are safe and sound, especially those are getting hit by snow and ice storms today…and all through the weekend. 🙂

Oopss..I forgot to let you all know that Samhain is holding a survey…click here…..they want to know what your favorite Samhain book and cover of 2008 was and also, what book and cover ever published by Samhain is your favorite.

So if you bought books at Samhain, please vote and it doesn’t even have to be mine. I’ll never know…lol.

Also, I would like to know how you would all feel about something. I would like to submit Nick of Time and get it contracted for release next year (hopefully..depending on the publisher’s schedule), but if I did that, I would feel compelled to stop posting installments here at my blog. Just wouldn’t feel right. It’s different when it’s something that’s already finished, imo.

Now I would give you a different story to read and start it as soon as I made the decision to submit Nick before it’s finished on the blog. So there wouldn’t be a delay between stories.

How would you feel about that? You would get Nick of Time eventually (and with options of print or ebook format…maybe), but there would be a delay to find out what happens with the guys and the book until the book was released by the publisher.

Please tell me how you would feel about that. Your opinions do matter to me. 🙂

Where I’d Like To Be….

I have to admit, I’m fed up with snow and cold. Hopefully it’ll start warming up around here soon. Though this is where I’d rather be..on a tropical beach somewhere. 🙂 Doesn’t it look nice?

I’m working on an interesting and different blog story. I’m hoping to be able to start it tomorrow and post through out the month of March…ending it on the last day of March. We’ll see how it works out. Depends on how much else I have going…lol

The other stories are moving along. I’m so close to typing The End on Understanding Forgiveness. That will done tonight. Then I’ll send it to my cps and see what I screwed up because to be honest, something doesn’t feel right about the story. But my cps are great at telling me what I messed up and how to fix it. 🙂

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and enjoy the beach like I’m going to do (in my mind anyway.)

Winter Blues

Sorry no picture today. I should have one though..maybe it would warm me up. It’s below zero here and I’m tired of winter. It can go away any time now. Ugh!

Congratulations to the Colts for winning the SuperBowl.

I’ll be chatting tonight at the Fallen Angel Reviews chatroom. Click here and it’ll take you to where you can sign in for the chat. The chat runs from 9-11 pm EST. Stephanie Vaughan, James Buchanan, Matthew Haldeman-Time and I will there, talking about our books and maye giving away a prize or two along the way.

Hope to see you there and have a great day. Stay warm!
