While you wait…

Unfortunately, it’s going to take a while for me to post the next installment of Bastet, but I’ll try to get to it today. 🙂 I thought I’d post this very yummy photo…and give you a review to read.

Check out my Best Book review at Long and Short Reviews as part of their Whipped Cream reviews. It’s an awesome review and I’d like to thank Tuberose for loving With This Ring so much. 😉

I’ll be back as soon as I can with Bastet.

World AIDS Day

HIV/AIDS is a disease that comes with so many terrible side effects. Not just the health issues, but the emotional problems that come from having this illness. Soemtimes it’s not just the person with the virus who is affected. Entire families deal with the consequences that having this disease causes. The strength it takes to deal daily with this disease amazes and awes me. Please keep everyone who might be suffering from HIV/AIDS in your thoughts and prayers today. We must work hard to end this disease.

I’m blogging at SEx and Erotic Muses today. Tomorrow, I’ll be at Sloane Taylor’s blog, celebrating her birthday (early..lol) and the release of my newest book, Bound by Love, coming tomorrow from Samhain. 🙂 Please stop by today and tomorrow if you can.

I’ve gotten several great reviews for Bound by Love all ready.

Christina at Romance Junkies gave it 4 blue ribbons. Click here to read the review.

Wave at reviewsbyjessewave gave Bound by Love 4.5 out of 5 stars. Check out the review here.

Hayley at Fallen Angel Reviews gave my boys 5 angels. Stop by here and see.

I know there are a few more that I probably missed. I have to go back and check…lol. I’ll post those as soon as I find them.

Have a great day and I promise I’ll be hopping back on the Poetry Train next week.

Joyfully Recommended.

Stealing Life has been Joyfully Recommended over at Joyfully Reviewed.

Woot! Go Rue and Vlatko…lol.

Ley at Joyfully Reviewed had some great things to say about my boys.

“Stealing Life has some really cool sci-fi concepts. T.A. Chase’s imagination is wild.”

Check out the rest of the review here. Thanks, Ley for the great review and the JR as well. Also to every reviewer who reviews a book. (not just mine), you do an awesome job. 🙂

Have a great day, everyone.

Shifting Perspectives reviews…

I did a small review of Fiona Glass’ Feathered Friend from our anthology Shifting Perspectives. Here you go.

Fiona Glass’ Feathered Friend is an interesting twist on an old fairy tale, The Swan Maiden. In the story, Charlie owns homing pigeons. One day while checking on his birds, he notices he has a new one. He takes it inside and finds there is much more to the pigeon than its pretty feathers.

Avery finds Charlie attractive and reveals his true self. Charlie makes a choice to keep Avery with him, ignoring the young shape shifter’s pleas. Even though their love grows, Charlie knows his lover isn’t happy. Will Charlie decide to set Avery free or will he continue to hold the pigeon captive?

The relationship between Avery and Charlie is interesting. It’s hot and tender, yet poignant. Fiona Glass manages to fill her short story with enough emotion to pull you in, making you root for this couple. This story teaches a lesson of why we should never cage wild creatures and how true love can come even to the most unusual of couples.

Fiona Glass’ Feathered Friend in Shifting Perspectives from Aspen Mountain Press and shows her story telling story.

Also, stop by Fiona’s blog or her Myspace page to check out her review of Emily Veinglory’s The Rat Burglar.

And stop over at Emily’s blog for her review on my story, Understanding Forgiveness.

Stealing Life

Hey everyone, I got good news yesterday. Stealing Life received a Recommended Read (and 5 Angels) from Teresa at Fallen Angel Reviews. Woo-hoo! Here’s a little of what she said:

“Throughout all the twists and turns of the plot, Mr. Chase takes the reader through an action packed story that has both heart and enough adventure to please anyone. Thanks go to Mr. Chase for another creative and captivating story.”

Click here for the rest of the review.

I’m totally stoked about it. 🙂 Thanks a lot, Teresa.

C and I went to see Live Free or Die Hard yesterday. I have never seen any of the other Die Hard movies, though C tells me I’m going to have to sit down and watch the first one (which is the best in his opinion.) Though he did say that this one was really good as well. I enjoyed the movie. Bruce Willis was very good and funny in it. I guess, except for the truly dangerous stuff, he does his own stunts. Which impresses the hell out of me.

I plan on doing nothing today, but writing. I didn’t get anything accomplished yesterday. 🙁 And I’m really trying to get at least one book finished today.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Wednesday Update…

So Rhian awarded me a Rockin’ Guy Blogger award. (As you can tell, it was originally a Rockin Girl Blogger, but she didn’t want to leave half of us out…lol) I’ve been posting some song lyrics the past couple of Mondays for the Poetry Train. They’re really poems that I’m using as songs in one of my WIPs, His Heart’s Home. One of the heroes, Derek St. Martin, is a country music star. He writes his own songs, so I thought it would be neat to include some in the story. I hope they help tell their story as well.

Thank you so much, Rhian. Now do I have to award someone else with this? Or five someone elses? lol

Also, I’ve gotten another review for Stealing Life. Bella of TwoLipsReviews gave SL four kisses and had this to say:

T.A. Chase wrote a compelling story with many surprising plot twists that will hold your interest. If you enjoy m/m romances Stealing Life is a great addition to your library.”

Click here for the rest of the review. Thank you, Bella for another great review. 🙂

Getting closer to finishing the re-write on Out of Bounds to re-submit to Samhain. Hopefully by the end of the week. But by focusing on this story, it pushes my deadline for finishing Tony’s story back a little. I’m hoping to send Home of His Own to my cps no later than the middle of July. So a little bit of good and bad news.

Hope everyone has a great day. 🙂

New Reviews

Got two new reviews for Angel’s Evolution.

One from Nannette at Joyfully Reviewed says Angel’s Evolution is a beautiful story.”

The other comes from Bella at TwoLipsReviews and she says “In Angel’s Evolution, T.A. Chase manages to do what few authors do, wrap you up in the story so completely that you forget the world around you.”

Thank you, ladies.

Did some writing over the weekend. A little on some of the oler stories and a bit on a new story idea I came up with.

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and enjoy your Monday.

Another Review for Angel

I got another review yesterday for Angel’s Evolution. 🙂

Stacey at Just Erotic Romance Reviews gave Angel 4 stars and had this to say about the story:

“Written in the first person from the perspective of Angel, Angel’s Evolution staked a place in my heart. I wasn’t expecting the emotions I felt in the midst of this tale…While not overly erotic, Angel’s Evolution was deeply emotional, and TA Chase did a fabulous job with the writing of it.”

Thank you so much, Stacey. I’m thrilled that Angel’s story touched your heart. His voice was so strong, I couldn’t fight him. 🙂

Well, I didn’t finish Understanding Forgiveness like I wanted to yesterday, but I got another 1k written, so I’m closer. Which makes me happy because now I’ve been talked into writing another short story for a Molten anthology with Lisa Andel and Lila Dubois. It should be interesting…lol. I have some other stories to finish as well.

I hope everyone has a great day.

New Review for Angel

Hey everyone, I got a new review for Angel’s Evolution today.

Teresa at Fallen Angel Reviews gave my story 5 Angels and had this to say about it:

“Mr. Chase created a wonderful and uplifting story about a young man, who with love and support, was able to take a chance at love and overcome the lifelong abuse from his father…Thanks go to Mr. Chase for another compelling story that I will treasure.”

Click here for the rest of the review. 🙂

Also, I put in the comments yesterday that if anyone wanted to be added to my newsletter list to just email me at chase.ta at gmail dot com (without spaces and things like that…I’m sure y’all know how to do it. If not, just post an addy in the comments section and I’ll add it.) The newsletter isn’t done yet. But I want to start collecting names so that I can have some people to get the very first one when I send it out. 🙂

Have a great Sunday. 🙂

*Update: I upgraded to the new Blogger. I hope that doesn’t screw anything up for anyone trying to post. If it does, just email me instead.*
