Last Week…
for my blog here. Starting next Monday, I’ll be posting on my blog at my website. 🙂 Yeah! I thought I’d give you all fair warning.Did everyone have a great weekend? Get the tree up and all those presents bought and wrapped?
I put up a tree, begrudgingly…lol. Not that I don’t like Christmas or anything like that, but sometimes the tree is more trouble than it’s worth. Did some writing. Not as much as I would have liked. I consider it was a mini-vacation and I’ll pick it up this week. 🙂

I’m working on some stories at the moment, finishing up a couple. Hopefully, I’ll have more news about it.

Another Foggy Day…
Another foggy drizzling day here. Oh well, at least it’s not snow. 🙂 Have to look at the bright side at some point.
Nothing new to report. The writing is going well, but haven’t quite gotten the story done yet. I hoped to get it finished over the weekend. I ended up busier than I planned. Yet I think it’ll be done this week. I have Thursday off for sure, so while I wait for the food to cook, I can get some work done.

Change of plans…
I had planned on taking today off, but plans got changed, so I am at work. Woo-hoo! lol. I guess it’s okay since it’s kind of dreary outside.
Got some more writing done. Tabloid Star got the green light to be out in print in the summer of next year. I have to go through the galleys for that and get those turned in. Good news coming soon about a different story. As soon as I sign the contract, I’ll let you all know. I don’t like saying much about it until it’s all official. Don’t want to jinx things…lol.

What can I say….
it’s Monday. 🙁 Oh well, it’s a short week for me since I have Friday off. Of course, I have to work on Saturday to make up for it. Sometimes can’t win for losing, huh? 🙂
Well, writing is going very well. I’m really close to finishing a sci-fi story that I started a long time ago. Decided I wanted to cross it off my list. But Mars is chatting with me every chance he gets along with a pair of vampires who have very interesting stories to tell. I’m hoping to get the sci-fi one done, then moving on to the vampires. Mars will continue to be worked on late at night when he won’t let me sleep because he wants me to tell his story asap. 🙂

Friday the 13th
I’ve always been intrigued by the legend of Friday the 13th. So many reasons why it’s become synonymous with bad luck. The one that catches my interest the most is the story of the downfall of the Knights Templar and how on the 13th of October in 1307, King Philip of France ordered the mass arrest of the Knights Templar. There’s a story in that whole terrible situation, I’m sure, and maybe someday I’ll write something based on it. 🙂 Who knows?
Another good night of writing. The story I wrote with Carol is done and with the publisher now. Not sure how long it’ll take this particular publisher to let us know what they think, but as soon as I find anything out, I’ll let you all know.
Well, I’m off for a fun day of meetings. Woo-hoo!

Foggy Wednesday
I feel like I’m in the middle of the movie, The Mist. Giant bugs will be coming out of the fog any minute now…lol. Isn’t this picture just hot? If I wasn’t at work, I’d probably make this my wallpaper on my laptop. 😀
I’m working on the stories I mentioned on Monday, but it seems lately whenever I go to bed, I get scenes for Mars’ Assassin, the sequel to Death or Life. I’ll be lying there, then I’ll hear either Mars or Lord talking…well, actually I’ll see Mars talking and hearing Lord. It’s extremely difficult for Mars to talk as I’m sure most of you remember. Good thing Lord’s an expert lip reader. 🙂 Last night, it happened again, so out of bed I climbed to write down the short scene I received. At this rate, I’ll lose sleep, but get MA done before I planned…lol. I guess it’s a good trade-off. What’s the saying “I can always sleep when I’m dead”? lol

Rainy Days and Fridays…..
don’t always get me down…lol. I’m looking forward to this Friday, simply because I’m leaving work early. Woo-hoo! Only working until 1:30, then I have errands to run. After which, I’ll be coming home, and if it’s still raining, I’ll probably take a nap. Nothing like having your day planned out, huh?
Well, Fighting Dragons was finished and sent in. I have the second round of edits on With This Ring to do and return.After that, it’s working on other stories. 🙂 I’m hoping to have a productive weekend.

Hump Day
Well, the middle of the week has arrived and I have to say, I’m glad for that. Means only two more days until the weekend and I am looking forward to two days off. Though it never feels like enough time away from the EDJ. 🙂
I never thought 2k would go so slow. I’m so close to being done with Fighting Dragons, yet I can’t seem to find the time to sit down and finish the silly thing. I’m going to do that tonight. No matter what, I’m going to get what needs to be written done. Yay! Then I can work on the story Carol Lynne and I are writing together. Have to get my half of the chapter finished soon. lol.
That’s it. Nothing new to report, so I’ll just say I hope you all have a great Hump day. 🙂
