It’s a snow day…
The snow is coming down fast and furious this morning…and it’s only going to get worse until about noon. So I’m working from home today. I thought I’d post this really quick and then I’m going back to bed to snuggle under my blankets until a more reasonable time of day. π
I hope you all are safe and sound, especially those are getting hit by snow and ice storms today…and all through the weekend. π
Oopss..I forgot to let you all know that Samhain is holding a survey…click here…..they want to know what your favorite Samhain book and cover of 2008 was and also, what book and cover ever published by Samhain is your favorite.
So if you bought books at Samhain, please vote and it doesn’t even have to be mine. I’ll never know…lol.
Also, I would like to know how you would all feel about something. I would like to submit Nick of Time and get it contracted for release next year (hopefully..depending on the publisher’s schedule), but if I did that, I would feel compelled to stop posting installments here at my blog. Just wouldn’t feel right. It’s different when it’s something that’s already finished, imo.
Now I would give you a different story to read and start it as soon as I made the decision to submit Nick before it’s finished on the blog. So there wouldn’t be a delay between stories.
How would you feel about that? You would get Nick of Time eventually (and with options of print or ebook format…maybe), but there would be a delay to find out what happens with the guys and the book until the book was released by the publisher.
Please tell me how you would feel about that. Your opinions do matter to me. π

Go for the contract – but quickly so we get to find out what happens! But really we are very privileged to read (and thoroughly enjoy!) your work for free. So we can wait for the ending huh! Have a happy and safe holidays.
Val
Go for the contract, since I buy the ones you post it will give me the excuse that I HAVE to buy it to find out the ending.

Well, this is a decision that only you can make. Yes, we all are madly in love with the boys but hey, I’m pretty sure I speak for all the members here, we would LOVE to see it in print also, which is my fav. way of reading anyways. You have such an incredible mind that it doesn’t matter if you stopped “feeding” us Nick of Time for a while, what ever you come up with will be just as good. I hope you make the decision of having it published, I know it will be a success!!!
Luv Yar Brain!! π

Ok – so I am so late it may be immaterial. Although I would hate to see Nick disapper now, it would be great to get it ‘all at once’. If you’ve got it all written and ready to submit – submit it! I’llbe buying it anyway. π
Michelle
I think you should submit it. I hate waiting, but this story is too good not to get out there to a larger audience
hugs
molli
I agree submit the book. I’ll wait for more Nick.

I also say go for it. As long as we have a new story, even if we can’t get our Nick fix until it’s published, we’ll be happy because they just keep getting better. I vote for the story that had a Bast character that you mentioned a while back to tide us over until this one is published.
Arrrgh. I HATE that I would have to wait to find out what happens… On the other hand if it means I would have my own permanent copy then it would be worth the wait. All up to you. I’m behind you 1000% whichever way you go.
I can wait. While I’m not that patient generally I think you should go for it. More people could share the story that way hopefully.
you’re call. I’d really love to read more of Nick but if it means reading ALL of it at once AND getting a new story…maybe I can wait for Nick π
I agree. Go for the contract. I was telling someone just yesterday about this story and that it is easily one of the best paranormal stories I’ve read in quite a while. Go for the contract – this story will be a winner! Thanks for creating it.
Jen
Get that contract TA!!! No other answer.
Be safe.
No snow here but its chilly.

Sorry I didn’t chime in earlier, but we’ve been with out power due to an ice storm. We are at my parents right now. They are saying power might be back on Sunday!
I already voted and the top two questions were EASY for me. It was TA all the way. π
I say give us something new, stop Nick so you can get it contracted! Go TA!!!
i say submit it and start another. As much as my selfish self wants instant gratification, ultimately the story deserves excellent treatment and that should include publication. Plus as much as i love this blog, you should get some renumeration for your work.

Thanks for everyone’s opinion. I do listen to what you all are saying. π
As for Allergies, don’t worry. I’m hoping to have news about that real soon. I don’t want to say anything until the contract is signed. It would be the same publisher I’m going to send Nick to, so Allergies isn’t going to be forgotten.
Let’s see….His Heart’s Home is at about 26k, moving slowly, but it’s getting there.
Tabloid Star is at 26k as well and that one is moving faster. Ryan and Joss are really talking to me.
Defensive Line and Devil’s Addiction are in line to be worked on, but I plan on finishing HHH and TS first. π
What about Allergies? It kind of sets Nick of Time up… I’m still looking forward to some of the other stories you’ve “teased” us with (Defensive Line, Devil’s Addiction, His Heart’s Home, Tabloid Star – um… I’m pretty sure there’s more but that’s all I can remember). Please persuade your muse to give us more on those stories too!!!
Always look forward to whatever you have for us. Thanks T.A.

I this you should go for it. I would love to see Lou & Ray's story as part of this and even more on the rest of Lou's family. Since we haven't really met the villain yet, I think this would be a good point at which to stop your free story. Any true fan of yours could stand the suspense of waiting for the full story. Good luck!
Carol
I’m with Valerie. I am loving this story but see that it is easily becoming a longer, much more involved story that I would love to have as either a print or ebook. Would you include Lou and Ray’s story in with it as well? As much as I would miss it, you should do what is best for you as an author. Happy Snow Day!
Decisions, Decisions….On the one hand I’d love to see Nick’s story get published, but on the other hand the whole idea of waiting to find out what happens next is intolerable. So I’m gonna keep my opinion to myself and leave it to the Author’s perogative.
Have a Happy Holiday and a Grerat New Year.
Hi TA,
I think you should make submit Nick’s story and give us a new one. Nick’s story is well written and it would be a great book for new fans to read.
Great eye candy to warm up to. We’re getting hit here in Chicago big time and I just came back from taking my nephew to school. No snow day for the Chicago Public Schools apparently. The roads were absolutely treacherous. You were smart to stay home today.
Have a great weekend, stay warm and safe.
Stay warm & cuddle long TA.
I am going to make my farewell visit to my EDJ (to buy the new Sony ereader!!)then home to pack download a ton of books for the trip.
Have a safe and warm weekend.
Yvonne
No snow here in the Netherlands, but it is damn cold. And of course I have to go to a christmas dinner tonight and the dress I’m wearing is definitely not made for this weather. But it is worth the cold π
Have a good day and weekend! Saty warm and cozy inside π
WELL aren’t you lucky! I was hoping for one…didn’t get it though. Although we may get sent home if the storm gets bad enough…..Doesn’t help much though does it?
Have a great day at home!
