Two for One is available now…

My Sexy Snax, Two for One, is out now at Total e-Bound. Click here to check it out. This one had been available in the anthology Three that Liquid Silver Books released. I did add a little to this one to make it slightly longer.

Blurb:

When Jack receives a Two for One offer at a local club, he doesn’t realise the two men would change his life.

Jack Samson moves to Sumerset to start over again. He’s looking forward to his new veterinary practice and maybe having some fun once in a while. He certainly isn’t looking to fall for two men.

Simon Wittman and Brady Vanderly have been partners for fifteen years. They love each other, but they like to play. When they pick Jack up at a local gay bar, they think they’re just looking for a night or two of fun. They end up finding so much more.

Reader Advisory: This book was previously released at another publisher. It has been revised and re-edited for release with Total-E-Bound.

I’m working on Leaving Home, Peter’s story. Got the first chapter done over the weekend. Plus I’m working on a short story titled Reserved for Him, and got a little bit done on it as well. So I’ll be writing today on those two stories, plus the blog installment.

Have a great Monday.

Tune in Tomorrow…

Sorry…I stayed up late working on The Whore, which will be done first thing this morning. Then I’ll be writing the next installment of the blog story. So unfortunately as you can see, there isn’t one today. But it will be up tomorrow for the start of the weekend. 🙂

Wednesday Work In Progress…

I thought I’d share another excerpt from The Whore of New Slum before I submit it. Next week I’ll be sharing a little bit from Leaving Home, Peter’s story. 😉

Excerpt: (copyright 2012 T.A. Chase)

Wendall gritted his teeth as he pushed through the crowd of people. The search parties were disrupting everything in New Slum, and Wendall found it annoyed him. Maybe if they didn’t put Abdur in danger, or keep Wendall from seeing his sister, he wouldn’t mind them so much. It was good business for the brothel. Oh the soldiers wouldn’t be using any of the whores, but they would be buying drinks, and so would others who’d stop by to talk about what was going on.

He jogged up the front steps of the hospital. After shoving open the doors, he greeted the nun at the desk.

“I’m here to see my sister. Please tell the Mother Superior that I would like to talk to her.”

“Yes, sir.” The sister reached for the messenger to contact the Mother Superior.

Impatient to see Molly, Wendall didn’t wait for the elevator. He ran up all three flights of stairs, barely winded when he reached the terminal ward. Wendall stopped to take a deep breath before going into his sister’s room.

Molly might be dying, but he didn’t want her to see him panicked in any way. She was a smart girl, and had to know what was happening to her. Wendall simply didn’t want her to worry about him, and how he might be handling her death.

“How’s my favorite girl doing today?” He bounded into the room with a bright smile on his face.

She offered him a weak grin in return. “I’m your only sister, so I have to be your favorite girl.”

“Not true, my darling. Not true at all.”

He fought back the tears, trying hard to continue to look happy while he could tell the toll the disease was having on her body. Her ravaged face looked almost skeleton-like. He swore she’d lost more weight in the twenty-four hours since he’d seen her last.

Leaning down to kiss her cheek, he wrinkled his nose at the odor coming from Molly. It was a sure sign that she was dying, and her human form was wasting away. Her skin was fragile and dry like all life had been sucked from her.

“You are looking rather…” He paused, unsure how to continue.

“Horrid is the word you’re trying to find.” Her laugh turned into a harsh cough.

Wendall rushed over to the side table, then grabbed the pitcher of water to pour a glass for her. After sitting on the side of the bed, he slid his arm around Molly’s shoulders.

“Lean on me while you drink,” he suggested.

Molly took a few sips before she pushed the glass away. “Thank you. I can’t seem to get rid of this cough, and I haven’t been feeling good today.”

“Then you must not wear yourself out, love. Would you like me to brush your hair?” He retrieved the brush set on Molly’s dresser, then returned to the bed.

After settling back against the pillows, he helped his sister to rest against his chest. Molly sighed as he ran the brush through her dull hair. All the tension in her body disappeared slowly with each stroke, and Wendall started to hum softly.

Memories of so many nights where he would brush Molly’s hair before she went to bed danced through his head. Their mother had died when Molly was only three, and while their father was alive, Wendall could stay home to take care of his sister. Being six years old, he didn’t want to take care of his little sister. He wanted to be out playing with his friends, but he didn’t have a choice.

He thought he did a good job, and then he turned eighteen and his father died. Wendall was left having to support Molly all on his own. It was one of the reasons why he chose to go into the sex peddling business. The money he could make on his back could keep Molly in a nice apartment, which being in the Slum didn’t mean much.

Wendall knew Molly appreciated everything Wendall had done for her, but she’d been swept off her feet by a man who promised her so much more than she had. Then he left her when he went off to war, and by then, she was sick. So Wendall had managed to get a pass to go to New Island where he found Molly and brought her home.

Unfortunately, she was so ill, the only place he could take her was the hospital. He did his best to make sure she was as comfortable as possible. Wendall glanced down to see that at some point, Molly had fallen asleep.

Wiggling slightly, he rested his head against the pillows and closed his eyes. He ran through his activities for the next several days to come. There were a lot of things he needed to do, not just for The Pink Carnation, but for other meetings as well.

Wishing for a Home cover…

Here’s the new cover for Wishing for a Home. 🙂 I think all of the new covers are great. Definitely know they belong together, don’t you? I’ll have to go and check to see when it’ll be out.

I plan on finishing The Whore of New Slum today, and filling out the forms before sending it in. I’ve already started Leaving Home, Peter’s story. That one will be done by the end of Dec. along with at least one short story. (keeping my fingers crossed on that)

I hope you all have a great Monday. 🙂

End of the month already?

I’ll be sharing a new cover next Monday. 🙂 Yay!

Well, I have to fill in the middle part of my steampunk story, and I’m hoping to get it done today, but I’m not sure if I can. If not, I’ll have to ask for an extension…just a short one..lol. As soon as The Whore of New Slum is done, I’ll be starting the next Home book-Leaving Home (Peter’s story) and a short story titled Reserved for Him. The short story goes to Total e-Bound as well. So I have a bunch of new stories coming out next year at TeB as well as a few old stories being re-released.

I hope you all have a great weekend. 🙂 I’ll be writing my fingers to the bone. (Not really, but I’ll be writing as much as possible…lol)

Stop back tomorrow….

I added a nice amount of words to The Whore yesterday, so I’ll be writing the next installment for the blog story today…along with more to the steampunk story. I’m almost finished with it, then I can start another story right away…lol. No rest for the wicked I guess.

Well, I hope you all have a great day, and please stop by tomorrow for the next installment. 🙂

New Cover….

This is the new cover for the re-release of Where the Devil Dances. It’ll be out next year in the first couple of months. I don’t have my calendar up to give you an exact date…lol. You can check it out on the my site. 🙂

Also, No Going Home has been re-released by Total e-Bound. If you hadn’t picked it up when it was available before. 🙂 There isn’t anything new added to this version, just re-edited. So if you already have it, you don’t have to pick it up…unless you want the new cover. The good news is…if you’ve always wanted a print copy of No Going Home, you’ll be able to get one in the next couple of months. I can’t wait to see all the Home books out in print. Yay!

Still working on The Whore of New Slum. I might not get the next installment of the blog story done today. I’m going to try and get as much of The Whore done today as I can. The deadline to sub it is Dec. 1st…and I’d really like to get it done before then. 🙂

Have a great day.

Here’s the piece of Amber Kell’s story that she is doing for her birthday month.  Also, she will be having a give away for the commenters on my blog. 🙂

Check Amber’s blog for a post by me about my favorite birthday party. Here is the link to her blog. I’ll be giving away a book to one lucky commentor at her blog as well. 🙂 There will be links to all the other author’s blogs who participated as well, so you can read the story from the beginning.

Excerpt:

The weather turned on them as soon as they were a few miles away from the palace. Dark clouds moved in covering the sky like a malignant blanket. Cebrus shivered in his coat.

“There’s an inn a little further,” Silvan offered.

“Good.” Cebrus didn’t mention if he were traveling alone he would’ve hunkered down on the ground and slept under a tree. There were some perks to letting a prince tag along on his quest.

Unfortunately weather control wasn’t one of them.

The heavens opened up and dumped gallons of water onto the travellers.

Loud cursing filled the air beside him.

Cebrus thought Silvan looked good wet but he wisely didn’t say anything. The group trotted through the downpour until an inn appeared around the corner. It appeared well kept and the lanterns were lit, a welcoming sight.

Relief swept through Cebrus. He’d stayed in worse storms but it was never pleasant, the idea of a hot meal and a soft bed sounded wonderful.

Stable boys rushed out to take their horses. Cebrus slid down off his mount and almost into the stable boy. “Sorry.”

“No problem sir,” the young man gave Cebrus an inviting smile.

A hard hand grabbed his shoulder. “Come love.”

The stable hand paled. He quickly gathered the horses reins and scurried away.

“You didn’t have to scare him,” Cebrus scolded as he let Silvan drag him toward the inn.

“He didn’t have to smile at you either.” Silvan was unrepentant as the entered the building.

“Your highness. Such a pleasure to see you again.” The innkeeper, a round man with rosy cheeks rushed over to greet them.

“Master Berril, nice to see you again. Do you have some rooms for us?”

Berril gave him a regretful look. “I’m afraid I only have your usual room and some space over the stable for your men.”

“Is it dry?” Cebrus asked.

Berril nodded. “Yes sir.”

“That’ll be fine Berril. If you could feed my men and bring enough for two up to my room?” Silvan asked.

“Yes your majesty.” Berril gave Cebrus a curious look but when Silvan didn’t say anything he bustled off to obey the prince’s orders.

“I should drag a prince around whenever I travel,” Cebrus said.

Silvan waggled his eyebrows at Cebrus. “I come with many fringe benefits. I’m also an excellent bed warmer.”

Cebrus laughed. “I’ll have to test that out and see. I can’t accept an inferior bed warmer. I mean if you can be replaced by a hot water bottle it’s best to know that ahead of time.”

“I’m sure I can convince you of my worth,” Silvan’s voice deepened. “First we need to get you out of those wet clothes.”

Cebrus shook his head sadly. “I’ve always heard princes were better educated and that’s the best you can do?”

Silvan kissed Cebrus on the forehead. “Come upstairs love and I’ll show you all about my skills.”

Holy Moly…

It’s Thanksgiving all ready? Where the heck has the time gone? I better get a move-on with my writing…lol

This is a quick little post. I have edits on Wishing for a Home to get done today, plus more work on The Whore of New Slum.

Oh remember, tomorrow will be a guest blogger, Amber Kell, is doing a blog tour for her birthday month…and she’s stopping by tomorrow. The next installment for the blog story will be on Wednesday…and yes, there will be one on Thursday. 🙂

Hope you have a great Monday.

Here Be Dragons is back….

Here Be Dragons has been re-released by MLR Press. Don’t worry if you already have it. The only thing that has changed is the cover. It was edited again, but I didn’t add anything new to it. Oh, the other new thing is it’ll be out in print as well…at some point. I’ll have to ask when that will be…lol

Just to give you a heads-up and I’ll remind you all again on Monday, I’m part of Amber Kell’s birthday blog tour. So next Tuesday, she’ll be making a guest appearance on my blog. 🙂 Don’t worry…you’ll still get installments of the blog story. Just on Wednesday and Thursday instead.

I’ll be plugging along on Whore. Hopefully I can get it done by Sunday. 🙂 I have three short stories I’d like to finish by the end of the year as well. Luckily two of them only have to be 15k each. The other can be up to 40k, but I don’t think I’ll make it that long. Once I start working on each of them, I’ll give you more information.

Hope everyone has a great Friday and a marvelous weekend.
