Wow…March is almost here
And it looks like February is going out like a lion….I hope March comes in quietly. Where did February go? Wasn’t it only yesterday I was celebrating the release of my first book of 2010? Now in nine days, my second book will be out. Holy Cow!
I think it was Susan who asked about a release date for Fighting Dragons. Well, in March, you get two releases from me. Freaks in Love will be out March 7th and Fighting Dragons will be out March 30th (of course, that’s subject to change, but I’m pretty sure you can count on it…lol) So bookend releases. Yay!
Then I’ll have one book out in April, May, and June. At least that’s what is scheduled for right now. You never know because I have two books that are contracted, but haven’t gone through the editing process yet and haven’t been assigned a release date. They might be added in to one of the three months or to a month that doesn’t have a book coming out yet.
I have one book in for consideration at one of my publishers and I do think I’ll see about getting Bastet published, but I’m not sure who I’ll send it to yet. There’s probably about another 1k or so added into it and maybe in the future, we’ll revisit the guys to see how they’re doing. 🙂
I’m working on a couple of books now. Just have to see whose voice speaks the loudest to see who wins my attention…lol.

Friday…Thank God..
I plan on sleeping in as late as possible tomorrow. I’m glad this week is over…lol
Writing went well last night. I reached 25k on a story. Now I just have to decide if it’s halfway done or 3/4th of the way finished. I’m thinking it’s almost finished, but I have to fill in some parts, so we’ll see. We’re coming to the end of Bastet as well. I’m working on an idea or two for you to choose from for the next story. I think they’re going to be two very different stories, so it’ll be interesting to see which one you pick.

Sorry for the short post, but don’t have much new to report at the moment. Don’t worry though, writing is going well and I’m halfway done with one story…or at least I think it’s halfway. I’ll have to see by the end of the weekend.

Freakin’ Cold
Today would be a wonderful day to stay home, curl up under several blankets, and not leave the house for any reason…lol.
Last night, I wrote two love scenes for two different stories. I had two different points-of-view. One story is in 1st person. The other is in 3rd person. Two completely different plots, but I wrote them alternatingly (which isn’t a word, but I couldn’t think of the right one) I’d write a paragraph or two on one, then switch to the other. 🙂 We’ll see what it turns out like.
Have to do edits for Soothe the Burn this weekend and get those back. Yay!

Oh, and With This Ring hit the Top 10 Bestsellers at ARe. It’s #9 right now. Woo-hoo! That means half of my books listed at ARe were bestsellers at some point. I’m happy with that. I mean who wouldn’t be, huh?
Still writing…lol…though it’s getting a little slower going, but that’s par for the course for me. Usually by the end of January..beginning of Feb., I slow down a little. Probably the mid-winter blahs. I’m just looking for any hint of sunlight and warmth. 🙂

Monday…all ready?
Well, the weekend wasn’t as productive as I would have liked, writing wise. Although I did write at the casino after losing my allotted money…lol. So I sat in the bar, had a drink, and wrote for a little while.
Instead I worked on cleaning the house…which is my least fun thing to do, but I can only let it go for so long before the dust bunnies and dirt dishes take over the place.
Well, it’s the start of another work day. I hope you all have a great Monday. 🙂
Woo-Hoo Friday’s Here Again.
Thank goodness it’s Friday…only 7 more hours before I’m done for two days. Yay! I’m busy tonight and all day tomorrow, but on Sunday, I plan on sitting down and working on my story. I want to get further along in it because I have so many other characters waiting in the wings for their stories to be told.

Halfway through January…
This is one of those pictures that a story could be written about. 🙂 Wow…we’re already halfway through January. Where has the month gone? I’m busy writing and not really paying much attention to anything around me…lol. I have edits for Fighting Dragons to get done, but that shouldn’t take me too long. I picked a story and I’ve been working on it alone, instead of working on several different stories at once. So I’m hoping it’ll be done soon. Yay!

The end of the week…
I don’t have anything new to talk about…lol. Kind of been a boring week. Just working and writing. Sad story of my life. 😀 And I plan on writing all weekend as well. Have to get closer to finishing a couple of these stories soon.
Oh, and Lynn, about not naming the next Sports book, Tight End…it was tempting, but Matt is a defensive player, so Tight End wouldn’t work. And I try not to do suggestive titles, though it was pointed out that Soothe the Burn could have two different meanings, depending on how you look at it. 😉

Middle of the week blues…
Ugh! Is it Friday yet? Not that it really matters, but for some reason, this week is going by so slowly. 🙂 Maybe if I just stare at this picture long enough, I’ll forget all the other junk…lol.Woo-hoo! Wishing for a Home has hit the Coming Soon section at Liquid Silver. I posted the blurb there if you’d like to refresh your memory about Derek and Max. 🙂 I can’t wait to see what the cover looks like for this one.
I did a little writing on Trailing Air, the next Preternaturals book, and Defensive End, the next Love of Sports book, yesterday. Along with one or two other stories I’ve been working on as well. As much as I know I need to focus on one book and finish it, my mind isn’t letting me. So I’m rolling with the punches and taking whatever characters want to talk to me at the time I’m able to write. We’ll see which one gets done first…lol.
