Complete Wash…

Well, yesterday ended up being a complete wash as to me getting anything done. 🙁 I think I’m coming down with a spring cold or something. Had no interest in anything except sitting in my chair and reading.

But I’ve taken some medicine and hopefully that will help because I not only have to do the next two installments of my blog story, but I need to work on the Ghostly Affair PAX story I’m doing for Amber Allure. Once that’s done, I have to start work on the next book. My personal schedule of books is based on me finishing a book a month for a while. Which is doable…if I don’t get distracted with other things…lol.

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday…and I promise tomorrow and Friday will be Waiters days.

Eastern Standard Time…

After I got home last night from what I’m calling my West Coast Tour (lol), I crashed. So I didn’t get a chance to write the next installment of Waiters, but don’t worry. I’ll make sure to get it done for you all and up tomorrow. 🙂

My trip was great. Had an awesome time in Vegas with my friends. Phoenix was wonderful, but it always is when I’m hanging with my best friend. And RT was so much fun and it was marvelous to meet people I’d chatted with online.

Oh and as soon as I get the contract signed, I’ll have news about a new series I’m writing for one of my publishers. But I don’t want to say anything yet. I’m weird that way. Don’t like to say anything until it’s all signed and contracted…lol.

I hope you all have a great day and I’ll make sure to get the toy store installment done.

Enough….

snow all ready. Another storm and the ground is covered in white yet again. Ugh!

That’s really all I have to say about anything today…lol. I’ve got maybe one more chapter or so on Pestilence and I’m hoping to get it done either today or tomorrow at the latest. This morning is dedicated to writing the next installment to Waiters, and getting five more installments done and scheduled to be posted, so I don’t feel guilty for not doing it. I know you all won’t pitch a fit or anything, cause you’re good people like that…. 🙂 But still, it would be nice if I got some stuff up. There will be eye candy posts for Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays like always. 🙂

I hope everyone is warm and safe this Wednesday.

In One Week…..

Next Friday, I’ll be flying to Vegas for a week, and then heading to LA for the RT convention. Vegas is a vacation, but RT is work-related…lol. Though I’ll be having fun hanging out with all my reader friends and author friends while I’m there. I can’t wait, but I still have a ton of stuff I need to finish up before I go.

I’m going to try and get some installments of Waiters done ahead of time and get them scheduled to post, so you don’t have to go without while I’m gone. I’m never entirely sure about internet in my hotel, and I’d like to be sure you guys are entertained while I’m gone. Of course, if I can’t get Waiters worked on, I’ll just post a ton of eye candy. You’ll at least have something nice to look at. 🙂

I’m getting closer to finishing up Pestilence. That’s the one I’d really like done before I head out to Vegas because I’m not sure how much writing I’ll be doing while there. 😉

Well, I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and a wicked weekend.

Wicked Wednesday

I should have said wet Wednesday. It’s damp and dreary here, but that’s okay. I don’t plan on leaving the house until later in the afternoon. 🙂

Pestilence is coming along. Ended up not getting as much done as I wanted yesterday, but I’m still on track to finish it by my own imposed deadline, which is always encouraging. Well, I better get started…lol.

Have a great Wednesday.

I Call Death Dad available

Still sick. Yesterday, I sat on the couch and occasionally got on my laptop to do a little writing, but I couldn’t do it for long, so Waiters didn’t get worked on at all. I’m going to see if I can give you three installments next week to make up for missing one.

But the good news is my first Young Adult book, I Call Death Dad, is available here. It’s available in ebook format right now and print will be available shortly. I hope you check it out.

Here’s the blurb:

When Death’s your dad, you never look at life the same way again.

Okay, figuring out you’re gay is hard enough, right? I mean I’ve barely admitted the truth to myself. Forget about telling anyone else about liking guys. I thought it would be the most difficult thing I had to deal with, until my dad showed up to claim me for the summer.

Did I mention I hadn’t seen him for more than twenty minutes each birthday? Seriously, he couldn’t be bothered to visit me any other time, yet now he expects me to welcome him with open arms.

Well, did I mention he’s Death? And his plans for me will change my life.

I hope you all have a great day. I’m going to curl up on the couch again and try to kick this cold. Have a great weekend as well.

wicked Wednesday

It’s sleeting here. I’m glad I get to stay inside the nice warm house and not go out until tonight. 🙂 I hit the halfway point in Pestilence a few days ahead of schedule. If I can keep up the word count, I’ll have it done by the middle of the month. Woot!

I want it done early because I’ll be gone the last week in March and the first week of April. The last week of March, I’ll be in Vegas on vacation with C, and some friends of ours. Then the first week of April, I’ll be in LA at the RT convention. If any of you are going, keep an eye out for me. 🙂 I won’t be coming home in between the two.

That’s why I’d like Pest done early, so I can turn it in and get started on the next book, Under My Bed. That one has to be turned in by May 1st for a PAX coming out at Amber Allure.

Well, I hope you all have a happy Wednesday.

Cafe postponed

Had some real life issues coming up yesterday, so I was busy dealing with that and didn’t get a chance to write the next installment of Cafe. There will be one tomorrow.

Also, I’m probably going to be changing the name of the blog story. It’s a little too close to my Nowhere Diner titles, but I came up with a good title that will fit it in with Why I Love Geeks. (With a little help from a friend) 🙂

Have a great Thursday, everyone.

A new week

The start of a new week. More writing and hopefully accomplishing more than I did over the weekend. 🙂 Didn’t get much done the last two days, but I’m planning on keeping the tv turned off and the ipod turned on. Not letting anything distract me from hitting the word count I want today.

I hope you all have a good Monday.

Another weekend

Not much to talk about. Still chugging along on my newest story. I’m planning on doing some writing this weekend to keep on schedule. Now that I’m writing full time, I’d planned on weekends being my time off, but I find I can’t shut off the muse whenever I want to. So I’m writing all the time…lol, though I do take breaks during the week and stuff like that. 🙂 It’s not like I’m chained to my desk or anything.

I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend. 🙂
