Tomorrow I Promise….

Yesterday, I got caught up in writing Famine, the third Horseman book, and I didn’t want to stop. So I’m moving today’s installment of The Longest Stride to Friday. I think it’ll be a good way to go into the weekend, huh?

I’m happy with the way Famine is going so far. Hopefully, it’ll keep flowing well, and I can get it finished relatively fast. Once Famine is done, I plan on starting Death right away. Get the entire series done before next year. Then I’m hoping to be able to write Rover’s story before I have to write the first book in another new series coming out at Total e-Bound.

Pestilence is out….

Pestilence, the first book in The Four Horsemen series I’m writing for Total e-Bound is available now. click here to check it out. I’m really excited about this series, and I hope everyone who reads it enjoys it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s the blurb:

For Pestilence, the White Horseman, love becomes the most powerful cure.

Having lost his wife and child during the Black Death, Pestilence accepts the fate destiny has given him as one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. For centuries, Pestilence did his job, spreading plagues and disease around the world. He does it to keep the balance between good and evil, yet he hates every minute of it. He longs to be left alone, but suddenly fate seems to have a different plan for him.

When Bart Winston stumbles into an Amazon clearing, heโ€™s terribly ill and sure heโ€™s going to die. A tall white-haired man with unusual black eyes catches him in his arms and Bartโ€™s life takes a turn into the unbelievable. Blaming the whole situation on his illness might have worked, but as he gets better and learns about the strange man who heals him, Bart must accept there are more things in the world than he ever guessed.

Pestilence and Bart heal each other, and begin to wonder if there can be a future for the White Horseman and the mortal heโ€™s fallen in love with.

War comes out Dec. 26th….and Pestilence will be out in print in November. Yay! Oh, and my next release from Loose-Id, which is scheduled to come out Oct. 18th has made it to the coming soon page at Loose-Id. No blurb or cover yet, but those should be up there soon as well. Not much to see there yet. I’ll post the blurb for Borderline as soon as I can. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you all have a great Monday.

Happy Labor Day…

Happy Labor Day, everyone. I hope your weekend so far has been fun and safe. ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine’s been pretty quiet. Done some writing, and hanging out with family and friends. Woot!

Got the final edits done on Pestilence, and it’s up for pre-order for those of you who like to do that. ๐Ÿ™‚ Click here to check it out. I’m really hoping you, the readers, like this new series. It’s been interesting to write. Of course, Famine is on my schedule to start as soon as I finish Joy of the Season, my short Christmas story for MLR Press. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve been doing pretty good on Joy, not sure how many words I actually have because I’ve been writing it out long hand in a notebook. Might seem a little odd, but sometimes stories flow better for me when I write them out, instead of sitting in front of a computer or laptop. My plan today is to type in what I’ve written and see where I’m at.

Hope you have a great Monday…and a safe one as well.

Woot!

Marvelous news. Yesterday, while I was killing time before meeting some friends for dinner, I stopped by my local B&N…and like I always do, I check out the Gay & Lesbian shelves (also the romance shelves) to see if they might happen to have any of my books. OMG! Imagine my happy surprise when I see they have a copy of A Tabloid Love. I wanted to jump up and down and squeal like a little girl seeing Justin Beiber. (or however you spell his last name)

I didn’t. Mostly because there wasn’t anyone else with me…lol. I took a picture of it on the shelf, and went to ask the manager if I could autograph it for whoever was wonderful enough to buy it. They let me…and I’m was so excited. ๐Ÿ™‚

Moving on, I’m working the edits for Pestilence, then back to the Christmas story I’m working on. I have to say I’ve written most of it out in longhand, and will have to type it in, but I think I have over half of it done now. ๐Ÿ™‚ Hopefully, by the end of the long weekend, I’ll get it done completely.

I hope you all have an awesome and safe Labor Day weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚

done…

Well, Love’s Baggage is done and turned in. Woot! It’ll be out Oct. 16th as part of the Howling in the Night PAX. All werewolf stories. This one is Bandit’s story, so we’ll get some more information about what’s going on with everyone in the Preternatural series. Hopefully, you’ll like it.

Next up…and all ready started is Joy of the Season, a short Christmas story for MLR Press. Once that’s done, I’ll be starting Famine, the third book in The Four Horsemen series.

I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

Look at this pretty….

This is the cover for the first Horsemen book, Pestilence. Isn’t it gorgeous? Just what I was hoping for. Now I really can’t wait to see the other three covers. I think they’re going to look beautiful as print books as well.

This will be out on Sept. 12th…and I thought I’d post the blurb again to whet your appetite.

Reader Advisory: This book is best read in sequence as part of a series

I’ve turned in the cover art form for War, and I’m working on the forms for Famine and Death, even though I haven’t written the stories yet. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m still plugging away on Bandit’s story, and things are going well with his book. I’ve introduced some new characters I think you’ll like. Now I just have to decide if I’m going to write their stories as well, or just let you all decide what happened to them…lol

Have a great Friday and a marvelous weekend.

Story postponed….

I had fun at the zoo yesterday, but ended up coming home with a migraine. Ugh! I hate them. So instead of writing up the next installment for Longest Stride, I went to bed. I’m feeling better this morning, and you’ll be able to get your next installment tomorrow, I promise. ๐Ÿ™‚

I just heard from Total e-Bound and War will be contracted. Woot! Great news. It’ll be out Dec. 26th. and I’ll share the blurb with you all on Monday. ๐Ÿ™‚ I plan on working on Bandit’s story today, so hopefully I’ll be way ahead of schedule by the weekend.

Have a great Thursday, everyone.

War is done

Finished War yesterday and sent it in for approval. Along with all the forms. Now just waiting for the official contract to sign. Next up on the list is Love’s Baggage, Bandit’s story. Woot! I actually have most of the first chapter already written. I’ve been writing it out longhand because at times, I don’t want to sit at the computer and work. So I grab a notebook and go sit out in the living room or even outside. The story will flow better as well. Now I just need to type in what I’ve got done to see how far I am in the story. ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, I’m going to get working. Have a great Monday.

Blurb for Pestilence

Okay…I don’t have a cover for Pestilence yet, but I do have blurbs for the book and the series. Now they are subject to change once my editor gets a hold of them. ๐Ÿ™‚ But I thought you might like to know what Pestilence and the Horsemen series is all about.

The Four Horsemen series Blurb:

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse-Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death- creatures of myth and legend, yet were all human once. Each one dying an untimely death, and finding themselves reborn as one of the beings charged with keeping the world in balance. Theyโ€™ve existed for centuries, doing their jobs in solitude and loneliness, staying away from mortals they are trying to protect.

When fate brings an opportunity to be free of their curse, will the Horsemen be strong enough to grab their chance or will they stay trapped in the prison of their own making?

Pestilence Blurb:

For centuries, Pestilence did his job, spreading plagues and disease around the world. He does it to keep the balance between good and evil, yet he hates every minute of it. What do you think?

I hope you have a wonderful Friday and a marvelous weekend.

Good Weekend

Writing went well this weekend. Got more done than I thought I would, but I plan on really buckling down this week. I’d like to be 3/4ths of the way through War by the end of this week. That would awesome….lol. I’m close to being halfway done with it. We’ll see though. I know I want it to be at least 50k, but it might end up longer than that, which wouldn’t be all bad since it’ll definitely go into print format then. Yay!

Well, I better get started. I hope you all had a great weekend and have a marvelous Monday as well.
