Good Monday…

Well, today’s the start of another week. Yay! lol. I’ll be starting Death today, and do some more work on Bring Him Gold. Hopefully, I’ll get a good amount done on BHG today.

I’m doing some volunteering at the museum I used to work at today as well. So I’m off to do that this morning, then when I get back, I’ll get started.

I hope you all have a great Monday.

Yay! It’s Friday….

I hope you all have great plans for this weekend. Today, I’m going to write The End on Famine. Woot! Then write up the synopsis, and fill out the book information before I send it in. This weekend, I’m going to work on the short story for Amber Allure. Monday is the start of Death…lol.

I really don’t have much to say…lol. It’s been a sort of quiet week for me.

Have a fabulous Friday…and a fantastic weekend.

Wednesday Hunk

Woot! Halfway through the week, and I’m only about 6k away from finishing Famine. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have to write the last chapter and the epilogue. Then it’s on to the synopsis and book info form. Once that’s done, I have a very short story I need to write for Amber Allure. After that, it’s on to Death. I know for sure the Four Horsemen series will be complete and turned into my editor by the end of the year. ๐Ÿ˜€

So the last two days have been good for writing. I’m hoping that trend continues…lol. I’m getting a late start, but now that I’m up, I’ll make up for that. Keeping my fingers crossed I can finish Famine today.

Well, I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

Monday Morning….

Another week….another word count. ๐Ÿ™‚ Busy writing this week. I’m in the homestretch of Famine, then I have a very short story to write for Valentine’s Day. After that, comes Death. ๐Ÿ™‚ When Death is done, the Four Horsemen series will be finished, and I’ll be starting a new series for Total e-Bound called the Beasor Chronicles. I’m hoping also to have enough free time to write Rover’s story.

We’ll see how much I can get done by the end of the year. lol

I hope you all have a great Monday. I’ve become the owner of a rabbit, so I have to find a vet who will check it out for me. Yay!

Thursday Hunks…

Good morning, everyone. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s a gray and gloomy day outside, so I plan on staying in and writing most of the day. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get really close to the end of Famine. ๐Ÿ™‚ Also I have to get the third installment of the blog story done as well.

To find the first installment of They Walk Among Us, go to the sidebar and scroll down. There’s a link to it on the side.

I plan on writing Rover’s story in the next couple of months, and hoping it will be done by the end of the year. Woot!

I hope you all have a great Thursday….and the next installment will be up tomorrow.

Love’s Baggage is out.

Love’s Baggage, Bandit’s story and the third book in the Preternatural series, is available at Amber Allure now. Actually it came out yesterday, but I was still down in New Orleans, so I couldn’t post about it. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s also part of a PAX, so it’s discounted that way, I believe. Hope you get to check it out.

I had a lot of fun at GRL, and met so many awesome people (readers and authors alike). I can’t wait for next year’s retreat…lol. Of course, I have to recover from this one first. I did get some writing done, but I’m hoping to do the big final push this week to get Famine finished. But it’s nice to be home as well.

Here’s the blurb for Love’s Baggage. I hope you enjoy Bandit’s story.

Things have gotten pretty exciting in Bandit Canisโ€™s world. Non-Preters trying to kill any lycan or Preternatural they can find, and his youngest brother falling in love with a human. Plus finding out thereโ€™s a spell in a book that could destroy every Preternatural in the world. Yeah, “exciting” is a pale word for what Banditโ€™s life has become. Yet instead of searching for the book, Bandit finds himself escorting twin lycans back to their home pack. While heโ€™s not happy about it, at least he gets to spend time with Allen Dow.

Allen is reluctant to return to his home pack to regain control, especially after being sold to a human freak show years ago by his Alpha. He has no choice, though, once he learns how far the pack had fallen in his absence. The only good thing about the entire trip is spending time with Bandit.

As their mission turns deadly, Bandit and Allen cling to each other, their love growing stronger as they both leave the baggage of the past behind them. While their future is unclear in the dangerous world in which they live, they also come to realize that, together, they may be able to weather whatever happens next…

NOTE: This story is part of The Preternaturals series..

Finally Friday…

The week is over, and the weekend will be beginning in eight hours…give or take an hour or two…lol.

I’m over the hump, and am on the downward slide of Famine. I only have about 18k or so to finish up. After that, it’ll be Death, and after that, depending on when I get Death finish, I’m hoping to get to Trailing Air, Rover’s story in the Preternatural series.

If I don’t have time to do Rover’s story, I’ll be starting a new series for Total e-Bound about an alternative universe called The Beasor Chronicles. I already have release dates for the three books in that series. They will also be long enough to be out in print on their own. Woot! The three books in The Beasor Chronicles are the ones I’ve always referred to Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves…lol. My homage to Cher, though they don’t have any thing to with gypsies as we know them. ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, I better get to writing. Have a full schedule, trying to get the last two Horsemen books done by November. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great weekend.

October already….

I thought a picture of a man in a speedo would warm us up on a chilly autumn day. ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you all had a great weekend.

I did a lot of writing. I’m now over halfway done with Famine, and hoping to get it finished before I head to New Orleans next week. Then it’s on to Death. lol Such happy titles, aren’t they? But I guarantee the books have happy endings.

Well, I better go. I’m getting a late start to the day, so I need to start writing soon. Have a good Monday.

New Cover…

Here’s the awesome cover for the second Horsemen book, War. This one gets released Dec. 26th, so you can pick it up as a late Christmas present. I thought I’d share the blurb as well. Now it might not look the same when it gets put up on Total e-Bound’s coming soon page. It’s unedited, just to let you know. ๐Ÿ™‚

Fighting the battle in his own heart, War must find peace before he can find love.

Blurb:

War destroyed an entire tribe of innocent people when he was mortal, all because his best friend lied to him. His guilt brings him a destiny he never planned. As the Red Horseman, War spends the centuries creating battles and wars between countries to restore balance in the world. While he accepts the job to atone for his sins, he wishes he didnโ€™t cause men to kill each other. War lives a solitary life, without hope of ever finding forgiveness.

From the mountains of Afghanistan to the plains of Kansas, and to the steppes of Mongolia, Russell Heinz searches for peace. Heโ€™s battling survivorโ€™s guilt after having two members of his army unit die within feet of him. His own mind shuts down, and Russell spends time in a mental ward, dreaming of a man with blood-red hair and all-black eyes. Unsure if the man is real or just a figment of his wounded mind, Russell heads to Mongolia, looking for forgiveness of his own.

Separately, Russell and War fight their own personal demons. Together, they find peace in a love tested by the fires of battle.

Have an awesome Friday and a wonderful weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚

Late start to the day

Sleep in a little later than I wanted to. Need to get some edits done before I get back to writing. Have to do the next installment of the blog story. Then I’m diving back into Famine, which is rolling along.

I put together some promo bags for the GayRomLit convention I’m going to down in New Orleans. I found some really cute things, and I’m going in search of some more today. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you all have a good day, even though it’s raining and dreary here.
