Love’s Baggage is out.

Love’s Baggage, Bandit’s story and the third book in the Preternatural series, is available at Amber Allure now. Actually it came out yesterday, but I was still down in New Orleans, so I couldn’t post about it. πŸ™‚ It’s also part of a PAX, so it’s discounted that way, I believe. Hope you get to check it out.

I had a lot of fun at GRL, and met so many awesome people (readers and authors alike). I can’t wait for next year’s retreat…lol. Of course, I have to recover from this one first. I did get some writing done, but I’m hoping to do the big final push this week to get Famine finished. But it’s nice to be home as well.

Here’s the blurb for Love’s Baggage. I hope you enjoy Bandit’s story.

Things have gotten pretty exciting in Bandit Canis’s world. Non-Preters trying to kill any lycan or Preternatural they can find, and his youngest brother falling in love with a human. Plus finding out there’s a spell in a book that could destroy every Preternatural in the world. Yeah, “exciting” is a pale word for what Bandit’s life has become. Yet instead of searching for the book, Bandit finds himself escorting twin lycans back to their home pack. While he’s not happy about it, at least he gets to spend time with Allen Dow.

Allen is reluctant to return to his home pack to regain control, especially after being sold to a human freak show years ago by his Alpha. He has no choice, though, once he learns how far the pack had fallen in his absence. The only good thing about the entire trip is spending time with Bandit.

As their mission turns deadly, Bandit and Allen cling to each other, their love growing stronger as they both leave the baggage of the past behind them. While their future is unclear in the dangerous world in which they live, they also come to realize that, together, they may be able to weather whatever happens next…

NOTE: This story is part of The Preternaturals series..

Finally Friday…

The week is over, and the weekend will be beginning in eight hours…give or take an hour or two…lol.

I’m over the hump, and am on the downward slide of Famine. I only have about 18k or so to finish up. After that, it’ll be Death, and after that, depending on when I get Death finish, I’m hoping to get to Trailing Air, Rover’s story in the Preternatural series.

If I don’t have time to do Rover’s story, I’ll be starting a new series for Total e-Bound about an alternative universe called The Beasor Chronicles. I already have release dates for the three books in that series. They will also be long enough to be out in print on their own. Woot! The three books in The Beasor Chronicles are the ones I’ve always referred to Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves…lol. My homage to Cher, though they don’t have any thing to with gypsies as we know them. πŸ™‚

Well, I better get to writing. Have a full schedule, trying to get the last two Horsemen books done by November. πŸ™‚

Have a great weekend.

October already….

I thought a picture of a man in a speedo would warm us up on a chilly autumn day. πŸ™‚ I hope you all had a great weekend.

I did a lot of writing. I’m now over halfway done with Famine, and hoping to get it finished before I head to New Orleans next week. Then it’s on to Death. lol Such happy titles, aren’t they? But I guarantee the books have happy endings.

Well, I better go. I’m getting a late start to the day, so I need to start writing soon. Have a good Monday.

Hunky Thursday

Sorry about this post being so late. I got it all ready to be posted, and promptly got distracted by other things…lol. Not that I had a lot to say or anything like that. Haven’t had the time to pick out a new blog story. I think I’ll have something for you all to chose from next Tuesday. πŸ™‚ Hopefully either one of them will a story you’d like to read.

Famine is going well. I had a dilemma all last night and this morning about something in the story, but as I was writing this post, I came up with a solution. Yay! Have to go back to the beginning of the story and add a few things, but I think it’ll work out okay.

Got the edits done for Love’s Baggage, which is Bandit’s story. Also, it helps move the entire Preternatural story along, imo. πŸ™‚

Well, I hope you have a thrilling Thursday.

Hunk Day

Well, it’s Wednesday all ready. I’m getting a slower start to the day than I planned, but I guess I’ll just have to write a little longer than usual. πŸ™‚

Got my ticket to New Orleans for GayRomLit…and got my promo/swag as well. Just have to pack that all up and mail it to the hotel before I leave. Not taking it on the airplane with me…lol.

Writing is going well. Famine is rolling along, even though my muse is trying to get me to work on a different story. I can’t at the moment. Need to get Famine done first. Then we’ll see.

Have to go. Take care and have a great Wednesday.

Late start to the day

Sleep in a little later than I wanted to. Need to get some edits done before I get back to writing. Have to do the next installment of the blog story. Then I’m diving back into Famine, which is rolling along.

I put together some promo bags for the GayRomLit convention I’m going to down in New Orleans. I found some really cute things, and I’m going in search of some more today. πŸ™‚

I hope you all have a good day, even though it’s raining and dreary here.

Tomorrow I Promise….

Yesterday, I got caught up in writing Famine, the third Horseman book, and I didn’t want to stop. So I’m moving today’s installment of The Longest Stride to Friday. I think it’ll be a good way to go into the weekend, huh?

I’m happy with the way Famine is going so far. Hopefully, it’ll keep flowing well, and I can get it finished relatively fast. Once Famine is done, I plan on starting Death right away. Get the entire series done before next year. Then I’m hoping to be able to write Rover’s story before I have to write the first book in another new series coming out at Total e-Bound.

Happy Labor Day…

Happy Labor Day, everyone. I hope your weekend so far has been fun and safe. πŸ™‚

Mine’s been pretty quiet. Done some writing, and hanging out with family and friends. Woot!

Got the final edits done on Pestilence, and it’s up for pre-order for those of you who like to do that. πŸ™‚ Click here to check it out. I’m really hoping you, the readers, like this new series. It’s been interesting to write. Of course, Famine is on my schedule to start as soon as I finish Joy of the Season, my short Christmas story for MLR Press. πŸ™‚

I’ve been doing pretty good on Joy, not sure how many words I actually have because I’ve been writing it out long hand in a notebook. Might seem a little odd, but sometimes stories flow better for me when I write them out, instead of sitting in front of a computer or laptop. My plan today is to type in what I’ve written and see where I’m at.

Hope you have a great Monday…and a safe one as well.

done…

Well, Love’s Baggage is done and turned in. Woot! It’ll be out Oct. 16th as part of the Howling in the Night PAX. All werewolf stories. This one is Bandit’s story, so we’ll get some more information about what’s going on with everyone in the Preternatural series. Hopefully, you’ll like it.

Next up…and all ready started is Joy of the Season, a short Christmas story for MLR Press. Once that’s done, I’ll be starting Famine, the third book in The Four Horsemen series.

I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

The end is near

of the week and War, the second Horsemen book. Woot! I’ll definitely have it finished by Sunday, which was my goal all along. It’ll be around 52k, which means it’ll be going into print at Total e-Bound. πŸ™‚ I’m making sure all of the Horsemen books are long enough to go into print. That way each book has it’s own cover and everything. πŸ™‚ Also, there’ll be a fifth book, not really part of the series, but there’s a reoccurring character in each story that needs his own, so I talked to my editor, and she said send her a synopsis and we’ll see what we can do. I really hope everyone likes the Horsemen series. They’ve been interesting to write.

Cynthia, you asked about Yancey and Juan from the Home series. Well, I know I’ve said this before and it hasn’t happened, but I really do plan on writing about them soon. My schedule is filled for the rest of this year and I don’t plan on adding any other books into it. Couldn’t even if I wanted to…lol…that’s how packed it is. But I’ve written out a schedule for myself listing each book I want to write for each month and the last two Home books are scheduled in for next year. Leaving Home, Peter’s story, I’m going to have finished by April, and Home Sweet Home, Yancey and Juan’s story, I’m going to have done by June. I’m hoping that will mean they’ll both be out next year as well. I’m not sure what kind of release schedule Liquid Silver is running on right now. I’m sticking to that schedule if it kills me…lol

What’s my schedule look like, you might ask. Well, it’s a 24×36 dry erase board and I have 2011 thru 2018 written on there. Yep, I have stories planned out to 2018. Titles are listed under each year with the month I plan on having them finished by. I have six stories left to write this year. Two of them are really short Christmas stories, so they shouldn’t be too hard to knock out. The other four are Love’s Baggage, Bandit’s story from Preternatural series. Famine and Death from the Horsemen series. And Trailing Air, Rover’s story from the Preternatural series. So I’m hoping to have both series pretty much wrapped up by the end of the year. Sure, there’ll be one more in the Preternatural series, and that’s Jess/Pavel’s story, but I’m going to fit that in next year. And the spin-off book for the Horsemen series, but that one will be a stand alone. You won’t need to read the first four to understand what’s happening in this one.

I thought you might be interested in what I’ve got planned out in the next couple of months. Next year there will also be new stories coming out. I have two new series planned at Total e-Bound. I think you’ll enjoy both of them. At least I hope so. πŸ™‚

Well I’ve babbled enough to everyone. Back to my ‘office’ to finish up War and fill out the cover art/blurb forms for War, and the other two Horsemen books. Might as well get those done, so all I have to do is write the books…lol.

Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.
