Happy Friday

It’s Friday all ready. For some reason, it felt like this week flew by. Of course, not working on Monday might have something to do with it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Don’t have much planned for this weekend, except writing and golfing (if it’s not raining)

Hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

The Winner is…

Understanding the Past

I guess Jambrea’s internet campaign worked…lol. Don’t worry, all of you who voted for Bast, I’m going to make that my next blog story. (No choice next time…lol)

I’m a little busy at the moment and I still have to finish the first installment…I’ll try to get it posted some time today. If not, then it will be up tomorrow, I promise.

Good news about Bitter Creek. Amber Allure will be releasing Bitter Creek’s Redemption on Sept. 27th. Woo-hoo! Not as soon as I’m sure most of you would like, but that’s how it worked out. And it will be available in print sometime mid-October, so that’s a bonus. As soon as I get a cover, I’ll post it for you all.

You choose….

Here are the blurbs for you to choose from for the newest blog story. I hope to have news about Bitter Creek soon. The first plan I had for it didn’t work out, but I’m working on something else at the moment. Don’t worry. It will be coming out at some point. ๐Ÿ™‚

#1:

Earth Warriors: Bast

Harvard grad student, Kellan Largent is on the verge of finishing his doctorate on ancient Egyptian religious cults when he stumbles across an obscure reference to the Earth Warrior cult. Thrilled by his discovery, he works feverishly to translate the ancient language. Little does he know that one sentence in a dusty tattered book will engulf him in a battle between good and evil. A battle that could be the end of the world as he knows it.

The stray cat wandering the streets around Kellanโ€™s house is more than an abandoned feline. Bast has roamed the earth from the days when Egypt was young. Heโ€™s watched the pharaohs rise and fall. New gods come and go. His purpose has remained the same: Protect the earth at all costs and keep the secrets of the Earth Warriors from mortals. Heโ€™s sent to keep Kellan Largent from finding out the truth about the Earth Warriors, but also to keep the unsuspecting college student alive.

One man will do anything for the spell that created the Warriors. He wants immortality and killing Kellan for the secret is just the beginning of the trouble heโ€™ll cause to get what he wants.

Understanding the Past: (Henrich and Mason appear in Understanding Forgiveness, a short story in Shifting Perspectives)

Henrich and Mason have been building a fragile relationship for the past six months, ever since Henrich saved Mason from being killed by a mob of humans.

Mason is learning how to trust Henrich, but knowing that it was Henrichโ€™s father who created him and all of the other shifters causes moments of doubt for Mason. He struggles to open his heart and soul to Henrich.

Henrich thinks Mason was created just for him. His pain and weakness lessens the more time he spends with the snow leopard shifter, but he also understands that he can not hold Mason to him. Mason must choose to stay for their love to grow.

The past has a way of surprising people. Henrich and Mason arenโ€™t ready for the past to appear, but they must find a way to understand it before they can accept their combined future.

Happy Long Weekend

Finally Friday…yay! and it’s a long weekend as well. I just have to make it through the day at work and then I’m free for three days…lol. Hopefully it won’t rain this weekend or at least it can rain at night when I’m sleeping. ๐Ÿ™‚

I do plan on writing. That’s not something I ever really stop doing. I’m hoping to hear back about Bitter Creek soon. Any news on that and you’ll be the first to know…well, besides my editor and me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Wednesday….Hump Day

Good morning, everyone. ๐Ÿ™‚ Not much to talk about, though it looks like it’s going to be a gorgeous day here. Finally…lol.

I’m writing away and trying to get some stories finished. Also, I thought I’d give you two new blurbs to chose from next Tuesday, so I have to write those up. I’m considering re-visiting a couple we’ve already met, but I’m not 100% percent sure on that.

What type of story would you all like me to write for the blog? I’ve covered just about every genre except horror and I’m not sure I’d ever attempt that since I don’t like reading it, I wouldn’t know the first thing about writing it.

I’d love to hear your suggestions. ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a great day!

Monday again and a question….

How was your weekend, everyone? Mine was pretty good. It was a little chilly here, but at least it didn’t rain. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a question for you all. How would you feel if I didn’t post the last two installments of Bitter Creek? I know it’s a pain, but I have a chance to get it published sooner rather than later. That chance depends on me not posting the last two installments. You would have the whole story available to you by the end of June, possibly. ๐Ÿ™‚ Let me know what you all think.

Also, if the chance doesn’t work out, I’ll be posting them as soon as I find out. I don’t want to leave you hanging (not really, though it might seem like it at times…lol)

I hope you all have a great day and please tell me what you think.

The weekend is….

almost here. Only eight more hours and two days without work. Well, no ‘real’ job work…lol. I’ll be writing as always. I don’t have much else planned, except hopefully enjoying some sunny weather around here.

I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

What?….

Monday again? Where did the weekend go? lol.

I didn’t do much this weekend. Watched some hockey and golf. Did some writing. Basic stuff.

Don’t have much to tell everyone about…lol. I did a peek at the cover for Nick of Time. Trace did an awesome job, but I asked him to change one thing. I know. I know. We authors are a picky lot. I’m sure he’ll come up with something equally as gorgeous and as soon as he gives me the okay, I’ll show it to you all.

Hope you have a great Monday.

SEx blog

Hey everyone, I posted a new excerpt from Death or Life over at SEx, the Liquid Silver blog. I hope you stop by and check it out. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day and a wonderful weekend, everyone.

Hunk Day…

It’s already Wendesday. Wow…for some reason this week seems to be flying by.

Nothing exciting is going on. The retreat went well, so I can’t complain there.

Oh Bege, if you stop by, Seamus is from the Realm of Dreams and he makes an appearance in Dreaming of Dragons as well. Maybe in the future, he’ll have his own story. I’m not sure about that yet. But yes, there is a little cross-over between the books. ๐Ÿ™‚

Dreaming of Dragons will be out this month. Yay! Finally for all of you who have been patiently waiting for it…lol. It’ll be released closer to the end of the month than the beginning…like possibly the last week in May. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Perfect start to your summer reading.

Hope you all have a great day.
