Writing A.D.D.
I figured out early on in my writing career, that I have what I call Writer’s A.D.D. At certain times, I can’t concentrate on just one story, so I work on two or three at a time. I think of it as keeping the story fresh by switching off on different ones.
It does take longer to get the stories finished, but I don’t get bored or frustrated with any of them…which is a bonus. When I get bored or frustrated, the story gets set aside and I’m less likely to go back to it.
I’ve got three stories going aside from the blog one. The next Home one, another cowboy one (not part of any series) and a contemporary one about two musicians. 🙂 All of them are fun to work on. It’s just that Derek and Max from the Home book are taking their time telling me their story, so it’s a little slow going with them, but I’m keeping at it…lol.

Monday, Monday
Well, it’s Monday again. 🙂 The weekend turned out pretty nice and it was a productive one. I did some writing and got a little farther in a couple stories. Maybe soon I’ll be able to say that I actually finished one…lol.Now it’s off to work at the evil day job and hopefully, I can sneak in some writing while I’m there.

Wet Wednesday
Should have known the great weather wouldn’t last. It’s raining now and plans on raining all day. It would be the perfect day to stay home, write, read, and listen to the rain on the roof. 🙂 But instead I’m at work. Yay! lol.
Wow…can you believe it? I actually have a month where I don’t have a book coming out…lol. Then I have two books out in July and two books in Sept. with one sneaking in during August. Boy, I better get cracking so I can release books in Oct., Nov., and Dec. I guess next year I have to shoot for at least one out every month, huh? Boy, that would be a strain on your pocketbooks, wouldn’t it?
Not sure I can write that fast though. 🙂

I hope you all had a great weekend. I wrote and hung out with C. So it was nice and relaxing. I’m not really ready for the week, but at least it looks like it’s supposed to be nice weather to start with. I think it’s supposed to rain on Wednesday, but I can’t complain about the sunshine so far. 🙂

Freaky Friday
I know this isn’t what you’ve come here to read today…lol…but my internet trouble continues and now there seems to be something wrong with my computer. I’m going to be working on fixing it this weekend. Maybe next week I can give you three installments of Understanding the Past to make up for missing yesterday’s. I’m sorry about all of this, everyone.

Wednesday’s Hunk
Good morning, everyone. Happy Hump Day. We begin our down hill slide into the weekend. Woo-hoo!
Let’s see, not much happening here. Just writing, but it feels like I’m not accomplishing a lot. Each story gets a little closer to being finished, but none of them are done yet. Ugh! Oh well…I guess doing a little is better than doing nothing at all.

Rainy Monday
This is one of my favorite pictures of Viggo Mortonsen. I’ll have to write a story and base one of my heroes on him someday…lol. So I can go through tons of Viggo pics. 🙂I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine wasn’t bad at all. A little rainy and a little chilly, but still at least it didn’t snow. 😉 Today’s another rainy day. It would be the perfect day to stay home and write all day.

Wednesday Hunk
Wow…middle of the week already. I seem to be losing track of days somehow…lol. Must be too busy to pay much attention to the calander. 🙂 All I know is it would be nice if the weather stayed warmer than it has been. I mean it’s June and we’re still in the 60s most of the time. Most people would say, when it gets to 90, you’ll be complaining. Nope, not me. I like hot weather. lol
If I forgot to mention it, Bitter Creek’s Redemption will be published by Amber Allure Sept. 27th, with the print release sometime in Mid-October. 🙂 Don’t have any cover art yet, but as soon as I do, I’ll be posting it for you all.

Manic Monday again…
Unfortunately, it’s Monday again…lol. Sometimes the weekend goes by too fast. 🙂
I didn’t do much. Got some writing done. Did a little golfing and went to see UP. (in 3D) That was a pretty good movie. Not as upbeat as most Disney movies are, but more realistic in a way.
