The Vanguard
Hey everyone, due to the fact that I was late for work and had to rush out of the house, leaving behind my flash drive-the very flashdrive with the next intallment of The Vanguard on it- The Vanguard will have to be postponed until tomorrow. I’m very sorry about that. I even put it out with my phone and ipod. Guess it must have slipped off on to the couch or something. But I promise, the next installment will be up tomorrow and don’t miss it because there’ll be a little after-dinner show…involving Martin and Antioc with Stakel watching.But since you’re here, zip over to SEx and check out the excerpt from Stealing Life. Release Date…
LSB informed me last night that Stealing Life will be released on May 21st. They release their books around 6 or 7 pm on Mondays, so mark your calendar.
I can’t wait for Rue and Vlatko to be released for the world to enjoy. I think they are my favorite pair of characters I’ve written so far. Though Kael from Here Be Dragons is my all-time favorite hero.
I’m getting closer to finishing Out of Bounds (my Valentine’s story) and more is being written on The Vanguard. Maybe I’ll find out who the voice is soon. So far, it’s been very mysterious.
Tony’s story is coming along as well as is Dreaming of Dragons (my working title for the next Dragon book).
I hope you all enjoy your Wednesday. It’s raining here. It’s the kind of day I’d prefer to stay home and snuggle under the blankets with C or a good book.

Did some writing over the weekend. A little on some of the oler stories and a bit on a new story idea I came up with.

Week’s half over..
Hey everyone. It’s getting cold here again. Just when I thought spring was here to stay. Oh well…Stop by SiN and check out my cover for Stealing Life. Anne did another awesome job. There’s a couple excerpts posted there as well.
I did some writing yesterday. I’m at 18k on Home to Stay, but I’ve changed the title…lol. Figures. I’m thinking it’s going to be called Home of his Own. It suits the story better than the original title.
I added another 1k to Magpie and Snake’s story. I was glancing through it on Monday. Inspiration hit and I had to do some work on it. With three stories going at once, it’ll be interesting to see which one I actually end up finishing first. Though more than likely, it’ll be Tony’s story.

You Decide
Okay, here’s my problem. I have two stories I’d like to write and post as my blog story, but since I don’t have time to do both of them, I need to decide which one to actually focus on. That’s where you come in. 🙂
Since you’re the ones who will be reading it and taking the time out of your days to stop by, I thought I’d let you decide which one I should post. That way, I don’t have to pull my hair trying to pick between them. (it’s like trying to pick between your children, I’m sure.)
So I’m putting up two blurbs. I’d like you to post and tell me which one I should work on. (Don’t worry…both will get done, just one sooner than the other) Okay..here we go.
#1: The Vanguard-
Stakel is a Queen’s Consort and is abandoned by his fellow Consorts during a battle with the Vanguard. Taken prisoner, he finds himself learning about the enemy he’d been taught to hate. Stakel has been forced to do things he hated and fight for a ruler he owes no loyalty. In Rathian, Stakel finds not only a ruler, but a lover to whom he can give all of himself.
#2 Swearing Allegiance-
Prince Berrin’s relief at his father’s defeat is tempered by caution. He needs time to make up his mind about Oleg. When he asks for that time, the Prince of Nutria graciously gives it to him. Now he has a month to decide if the new king deserves his allegiance and that of Sangdon.
Disturbing rumors reach Oleg’s ears. Rumors that Berrin isn’t the son of the king after all. The Ancient Dark owns Berrin’s soul and will do what ever it must to protect him. Will Berrin and the magic inside him accept Oleg’s authority and his love? Or will the Nutrian Prince find himself fighting a war against a god?

Good Saturday
I was a good boy yesterday and didn’t go to see 300 like I wanted to. Only because C wants to see it as well and I thought he might be a little upset if I saw it without him. So we’re going today with a group of friends. How can I resist going to see a movie where the stars look like this? Those are really Gerard Butler’s abs, ladies and gentlemen. Can we say yummy? 🙂

How exciting. My site counter tells me I’ve had over 20,000 visitors since I started this blog in February of last year. Cool. Please don’t stop coming. I like to see all the countries that stop by and visit. You don’t even have to post a comment.

Wild Hogs
Saw WILD HOGS yesterday. It was a funny movie and one that was funny all the way through..not just in bits and pieces. Now I’m not a huge Travolta or Allen fan, but they were good. William H. Macy was my favorite out of the bunch.
Oh, the anthology title got changed. It’s now just Three because April, the cover artist, thought that would look better on the cover and who are we to argue? lol. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with for us. As soon as I get it, I’ll post it for everyone.
As you might notice, the links to my blog story, Firebird, have been deleted from the side bar. That doesn’t mean the story is gone, it just means you have to search for it now. I promise I’ll be starting a new story tomorrow. (hopefully..if I have time.) Forget about the little scene I posted the other day…lol. The new one will be a fantasy/sci-fi story. I’ve gotten a couple chapters already written on it..so we’ll see what you think about it.
This week is going to be really busy for me at work, so I’m going to try hard to post every day. It might not be right in the morning. I hope you’ll stop by through out the day if there isn’t anything new up first thing.

The End of the Weekend
I picked up this dvd set yesterday. The first season of Supernatural. Never watch it on tv, but it’s actually pretty good so far. It helps that Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are hot. 🙂

It’s official
Well, I signed the contracts and it’s official. Both Two for One and Stealing Life have been contracted by LSB. 🙂 There’s no official release date, but Liquid Silver tries very hard to get them out around four months from when the contract is signed so that would be around June or July.I’m happy about it. Anne Cain is working digilently on the cover for Stealing Life and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with. April Martinez is doing the cover for the Threesome anthology that Two for One is a part of. Bonnie Dee and Lisa Andel are the other two authors with me. So I’ll be getting two awesome covers as well.
As soon as I get a date for the books to come out, I’ll let everyone know. 🙂
