Time to Choose
okay…so I’m a sucker for two good-looking men who look like they’re having fun together…lol.Anyway, while you might like the eye candy, I’m sure you’re here to read the blurbs and vote for my newest blog story. Without further ado, here are the blurbs:
#1: Wolf’s Survival–
Fellow ranchers consider Jared Tasker a lone wolf. A man who goes his own way and who stands alone. They’ll never know how close to the truth they are. His pack slaughtered by the ancestors of those very ranchers, Jared’s learned to trust no one and accept his solitary life.
Oliver Wingate loves and respects wolves. As a conservationist, he believes they should be re-introduced into their once natural habitat. He meets resistance from all the ranchers who feel the wolves will prey on their herds.
When Olive runs afoul of some of the locals, it’s up to Jared to ensure the young idealistic man doesn’t lose his life in a battle for the wolf’s survival.
#2: Shades of Dreams–
Stephan Colby is on top of the world. He’s lead singer of one of the hottest new rock bands. His best friend is in the band as well. In addition, Stephan’s in love. Yet Fate has a way of kicking a man in the teeth and when Stephan’s world crashes around him, he turns to his Rock, the one who has always been there for him.
Rocky Sanicily has always had Stephan’s back. They’ve been through a lot together. But when Stephan loses the most important thing in his world, Rocky must do everything in his power to keep Stephan from giving up.
Just list the number of the blurb you’d like to see me write as my blog story and by next Monday, I’ll let you all know which one it’ll be. Oh and if you haven’t had a chance to catch the last couple of installments of Bastet, please do so soon. I plan on taking the links down and deleting the story from my blog history by Thursday. 🙂
Have a great Tuesday, everyone.
Wishing for a Home.

Blurb:
Derek St. Martin is Nashville’s hottest country singer. For eight years, fame and fortune have come his way, but he’s not happy. In fact, he’s on the edge of a nervous breakdown or checking into a drug rehab center. Hiding his sexual preferences is driving him to resort to numbing the pain. When his step-brother suggests he should go on vacation, Derek jumps at the chance to relax and get his head on straight.
Max Furlo isn’t happy. His bosses were leaving him in charge of some singer while he had other more important things to take care of. Seeing Derek St. Martin for the first time hits Max hard and, suddenly, he’s considering a summer fling.
Both men know that a relationship can never be for them. Derek’s career wouldn’t handle the news and Max can’t live a lie. Yet when a summer fling becomes love, who will be willing to risk it all for a chance at forever?
Excerpt:
Derek studied him for a moment, his eyes running over Max’s body, stopping at the noticeable lump in Max’s jeans. A wicked gleam came in the singer’s eyes and Max stepped back.
“Don’t even think about it.”
He wasn’t fast enough. Derek pushed up on his knees and pressed his face to Max’s groin.
Groaning, Max buried his hands in Derek’s hair and arched his hips. Hot moist air penetrated his jeans and underwear, bathing his cock in sensations guaranteed to make him hard all day if he didn’t get that mouth wrapped around him at some point.
Derek broke his hold with ease and stood. “Sure. I’ll make pancakes.”
Gripping the man’s shoulder, Max jerked him to his chest. He covered that wicked mouth with his and kissed the singer until Derek melted against him, encircling his waist with his arms.
They broke apart when Max’s lungs screamed for oxygen. Derek stared at him in shocked surprise, lust burning in those green eyes.
“You’re a bit of a tease, aren’t you?” Max adjusted himself, trying to find room in his suddenly too tight jeans.
Derek shrugged. “You have to learn how to flirt. Drives the fans crazy. I‘d never tease you though. I‘ll always put out for you.”
Soothe the Burn available now….

Woo-hoo! Soothe the Burn is available in ebook form at Amber Allure. I enjoyed writing this one so I hope you all will enjoy reading it. I promised the blurb and an excerpt. Here you go:
Blurb:
Captain Alvix has a secret. One he’s managed to keep hidden for years until a stranger comes to his rescue and shakes up Alvix’s perfect world. Suddenly, Alvix finds himself doing things he never imagined he would and revealing his deepest secret to a man made of metal.
Lieutenant Cooper is the leader of an elite group of military men. Their loyalty to the Galactic Military led them to volunteer for an experiment that changed their skin into titanium flesh. On a desperate rescue mission, Cooper enlists the help of Alvix and, with that one action, changes their lives forever.
Can a man made of metal and a man struggling to control the fire inside his soul find common ground? Or will their love burn to ashes before they ever have a chance to discover it?
Excerpt:
“Hush, Alvix. It’s okay. It’s me, Cooper. You’re safe now. We’re off planet.”
Alvix squinted in the sudden flood of light. As the tears slowly disappeared and he could see again, he realized it really was Cooper kneeling next to the bed. He gasped and reached out, stopping inches away from the metal now covering all of Cooper’s face.
“You can touch.” Cooper gave him permission.
Pressing his fingertips to the cool smooth surface, he met Cooper’s silver eyes. “What does it feel like?”
Cooper shrugged, though there was no real change in his expression. “A little odd, like I’m wearing a mask. It’s flexible and everything. The scientists wanted to ensure we’d still be able to move and fight, no matter how metal we become.”
After pushing up onto his knees, Alvix cradled Cooper’s face with both hands. He moaned softly. He managed to detect concern in Cooper’s gaze.
“You don’t have to touch me. I’m sure you’d prefer not being touched by anyone at the moment.”
How could he explain that the cold chill of Cooper’s new skin soothed him in a deeper way than never being touched again would?
His lips burned as he remembered the ravishing kisses of the Tongassian king. Alvix whimpered and lurched forward, attacking Cooper’s mouth with his own. He only wanted to stop the fire that tried to escape from inside him.
Cooper’s breath danced over Alvix’s lips for a second before their lips met. Oh, God. Alvix’s brain went blank at the first silken drag of Cooper’s metal lips over his own heated human flesh. No words could express how much Alvix wanted to crawl over and smash his entire naked body against Cooper’s. Maybe it would douse the heat left under his skin from the fiery attention of his captor.
Icy strips ran down his sides and he realized they were Cooper’s hands only when the other man set him away. He whined in protest, wanting more of the satin smooth touch calming his jumpy nerves.
“No, Alvix. You just want me because I rescued you and now you’re safe.”
He narrowed his eyes and glared at Cooper. “I’m not that mental.”
Cooper raised a non-existent eyebrow in skeptical inquiry, and Alvix crossed his arms with an undignified snort.
“All right. Fine. I do have some issues after being some alien torch creature’s boy toy. Forgive me if I seem a little clingy to a person who isn’t going to flame my insides into a pile of ash while watching me squirm in agony for fun.”
Hope you enjoyed the excerpt, everyone. Have a great Sunday. 🙂
While you wait…

Here’s the unedited blurb:

Kyle MacDonald makes Duncan feel protective and passionate. Even though he’s fourteen years older than Kyle, Duncan’s ready to risk rejection to see if Kyle’s lips taste as sweet as they look.

New Cover-Soothe the Burn

Here’s the awesome new cover for my Amber Allure release, Soothe the Burn. It’ll be out Feb. 7th. I think Trace did a marvelous job on it. 🙂
I’ll share the unedited blurb as well:

What do you all think?
It snowed here last night and now we’re getting rain. Yay! So I’m heading into work late, but that’s okay. I got permission…lol. I hope you all are safe and warm wherever you are.
Wacky Wednesday

Well, I had planned on posting earlier, but got grabbed for a meeting the moment I got to work. So had to wait. But here I am, and there’s nothing wrong. Well, workwise. Weather-wise, it’s cold, dreary, windy, and cold…lol. Yep, I think we’re skipping fall weather and heading right into winter. Ugh!
Hey I posted something over at SEx. Run over and comment if you want. 🙂
I got a sneak peek at the cover for With This Ring and wow, it’s awesome, everyone. As soon as I get the okay, I’ll post it for everyone to check out. I don’t know who the cover artist is, but they did a great job with it.
I’m not sure if I posted the blurb for WTR, so here you go:

Tabloid Star is out!

Now for the other great news….though from what I understand some of you have already gotten your copies from Fictionwise, which seems odd to me, but hey what do I know? Lol
My newest release from Samhain, Tabloid Star, is live and ready to be picked up. 🙂 I had a little chat at the Samhain Cafe last night about it. I enjoyed chatting with everyone who could stop by. Also some eye candy was posted. You’re probably not surprised by that…lol.
Here’s the blurb:
One hot night, one freeze frame…and one shocking surprise.
As a bartender at the Lucky Seven club, Josh Bauer could take a different guy home every night…if he wanted to. Working three jobs, however, makes it hard to connect with anyone. One man, though, is too much temptation to resist. A steamy encounter in a back alley leads to an explosive night of sex in Josh’s bed—a bed he isn’t surprised to find empty the next morning.
What does surprise him, though, is the front page of a tabloid. Apparently his one-night stand isn’t as anonymous as he thought it was.
Ryan Kellar’s career is taking off. Advance buzz about his movie says it’s a blockbuster, and going home with the gorgeous bartender is the perfect way to celebrate. And he thought he’d gotten away clean—until the picture in the paper shocks him into reality. Was Josh really just playing…or playing him for a fool?
Trust isn’t big on their list right now, but as their worlds fall apart, it’s all they have. At least until they figure out who took the picture. And why…
Product Warnings
Hot manlove, gratuitous licking of tattoos and dealing with stalking paparazzi.
Ryan stuck out his tongue. “Don’t get too puffed up there. I might have just been saying that to get the guy to leave.”
“You’re the one making me puffy, honey. And don’t wag that thing at me unless you mean to use it.” Josh caught the tip of Ryan’s tongue between his thumb and finger, giving it a little tug.
Without thinking or worrying about anyone watching, Ryan leaned forward slightly and wrapped his lips around Josh’s finger. Sucking, he drew it in and scraped Josh’s skin with his teeth. Salt, lime and lemon mingled on his tongue, making Josh a flavor he’d love to taste more of.
“Much more of that, you’ll be on the bar and I’ll be doing body shots off your abs…among other places,” Josh growled.
Ryan shivered, and hell if his cock didn’t stiffen to press against his zipper hard enough to leave marks. He eased back and let Josh’s finger go with a grin.
Josh shook his head. “Who knew there was such a tease under that mysterious exterior?”
Before Ryan could answer, a tall blonde woman came from the hallway to sit next to him. He gave her a smile and Josh leaned over the bar to kiss her cheek.
“Rachel, love, what can I get you?”
“You know what I like, Josh.” Rachel’s voice held the clipped accents of upper crust Britain. “How’s business going?”
Rachel must be Josh’s boss. Ryan touched the brim of his hat. Had she seen him flirting with Josh? He didn’t want to get him in trouble.
“It’s been steady. Pretty good for a Thursday night.” Josh set a martini in front of her. “Dirty, with three olives.”
Rachel sipped and sighed. “You make the best martinis.”
“That’s why you hired me.” Josh strolled away to mix two drinks and came back. “How are you doing, boss lady?”
Her gaze wandered over the crowd. “I’m doing fine, Josh.” Her blue eyes landed on Ryan and she smiled. “Why don’t you take off early tonight? I’ll finish up your shift and help Pete clean up.”
Surprise crossed Josh’s face and Ryan figured Rachel didn’t tend bar very often. Something seemed to be bothering her, but it wasn’t his place to ask.
“Are you sure? I don’t mind staying.” Josh rested his arms on the bar and shot Ryan a glance.
“I don’t have anywhere else to go,” Ryan commented. And he really didn’t. He didn’t have anything to do until later tomorrow afternoon.
“Go on. You’ve been here late every night this week. I don’t want my best bartender getting sick because he doesn’t get enough sleep. I can handle the bar for a couple of hours.”
Josh came from behind the bar and gave Rachel a hug. “I’m not going to argue anymore. Thanks.”
Ryan fought to keep from laughing as Josh dragged him back to the office where they grabbed Josh’s backpack before heading out through the back exit.
“I live just a couple of blocks down. We can walk or we can catch a cab.”
“I’d like to walk, if that’s okay with you.”
The urge to jerk his hand away from Josh almost overwhelmed him, but he beat it back. He tightened his fingers and tried not to think about how good it felt holding on to him. No one would expect to see him out walking the sidewalks like normal people.
“Walking’s good with me.” Josh slung the pack over one broad shoulder and swung their hands as they made their way down the sidewalk.
Ryan let his mind empty as they wandered, ignoring the crowd of people around him. The nice thing about Hollywood was he never felt like he stood out. No one stared or pointed at him, whispering behind hands. No one looked twice at two men holding hands.
He did notice how Josh blocked people from bumping into him or bothering him in any way. Ryan wasn’t a small guy, but somehow Josh made him feel taken care of and cherished. Shaking his head, he gave a silent chuckle. Now if that wasn’t the silliest thing he’d thought in a long time.
God, they needed to get to Josh’s apartment so Josh could fuck all the sappiness out of him.
New Cover

Here’s my cover for my upcoming Samhain release, Tabloid Star. It’s finally up on the Coming Soon page…which means it’ll be out Sept. 1. Woo-hoo! Done by the marvelous Anne Cain. 🙂
A little blurb action for you:

The gratuitous licking of tattoos is just for my girl, Jambrea, who inspired this story by sharing some hot pictures of Ryan Reynolds and mentioning tattoo licking. 🙂
Well, I got the edits for Nick of Time done. Or at least the first round of them. If those are okay, I’ll have to go over the galley for it, so it’s okay for print production..lol.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Nowhere Diner: Finding Love available

Announcing my newest release, Nowhere Diner: Finding Love. Available now at Amber Allure. Click here.
Here’s the blurb:
Leaving Minnesota, Timothy Gapin doesn’t have any plans except getting as far away from all the memories as he can before his money runs out. His secret lover has married, breaking his heart and making him chose a life in the open rather than a relationship built on lies.
Little does Tim know that four days later he would grab dinner at a diner and find a place to stop. Somehow this diner in the middle of nowhere becomes his home and the people who work there his family. In addition to the workers at the diner, Tim meets Bernie Capley, a long-haul trucker who isn’t all he seems to be.
Falling in love with Bernie is easy for Tim, but the past has a way of barging into the present, forcing decisions that affect their future…
And an excerpt:She handed Bernie his change and he left a tip for Cookie. Grabbing my hand, he dragged me out of the diner over to where a large black and chrome semi sat. He led us to the other side where we’d be out of view from prying eyes. Staring down at me, he searched my face for something. He must have found what he was looking for because he cupped my chin in his hands and lifted my mouth to his.
As kisses go, this one was the softest I’d ever had. Aaron didn’t like to kiss. He’d always been in a hurry to get to the sex without any foreplay. I banished him from my mind and gave myself over to Bernie.
He slid his hands down my neck and sides to rest them on my hips. Three points of contact and I was ready to explode. A soft whimper emerged from my throat and I tried to press closer to him. His grip tightened and a low growl told me he didn’t want me to move.
I opened and he swept his tongue in to lick along my teeth and gums, learning every inch of my mouth. He sucked on my bottom lip and bit it. The sting made me jump and gasp.
Footsteps sounded on the pavement and Bernie drew slowly away, letting me go, reluctance in each inch. We stood, staring at each other, chests heaving and groins aching. He grinned at me.
“I’ll be coming back through here next Wednesday. Would you be interested in getting dinner with me? Maybe somewhere other than the diner.”
I touched trembling fingers to my swollen lips and nodded. “I don’t have a car though.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of the transportation. Do you have a cell?”
“No. I left mine back home.”
He leveled a knowing look at me. “Didn’t want anyone to call you, huh?”
I looked over his shoulder and shrugged. “No one important. I’ll get a phone when I have a little more money and let my aunt know where I’m at.”
Frowning, he ran his fingers through my hair and nodded. “I’ll call the diner. I’m sure Cookie won’t mind it once in a while.”
“Okay.”
Were we starting a real relationship with dating and everything that went along with it? Or was the whole date thing just Bernie’s way of making each hook-up feel special?
My doubts must have shown on my face because Bernie caressed my cheek and grinned.
“I don’t do casual sex anymore. Being a trucker makes it easy to find a warm body at the rest areas or truck stops; women and men. It would become real simple to see sex as nothing but a release.” Bernie held my gaze and I could see how serious he was. “I’m too old to fool around like that. Now I like to get to know a guy before we end up in bed.”
I didn’t know whether to be excited or nervous. On one hand, it sounded like Bernie assumed we’d be sleeping together at some point. On the other hand, should I be worried about the possibility that once Bernie got to know me, he’d figure out I wasn’t worth the time and effort.
“Don’t worry. My gut’s telling me you’ll be worth every minute.”
Bernie leaned down and brushed another kiss over my lips before stepping further away.
Have a great day, everyone. 🙂
