Lift Your Voice….

is available now at Amber Allure. Click here to check it out.

Blurb:

Brandon McCollugh returns home after a road-side bomb ends his military career and takes his lower left leg. For him, learning to walk again is accompanied by trying to find a purpose in life. A job with the local landscaper, however, planting flowers and getting dirty, helps Bran rebuild his confidence, and meeting music teacher Donald Frost opens possibilities for a future Bran never imagined.

Getting kicked out of his religious, ultra-conservative family at the age of sixteen, Don worked hard to be more than his parents condemned him to be. He teaches music at the local high school and sings at his uncle’s church, satisfied that his life is the best it can be. Then Bran comes home, and Don decides it’s time to grab his own happiness.

When the two men meet, it’s instant attraction, changing their lives forever…

Have a great Monday. 🙂

Revealing the Past….

is available now. Check it out here.

Here’s the blurb:

Geoff DuPuis is an American archaeology in search of evidence of the ancient settlement on Poveglia Island in Venice, Italy. He doesn’t care about the stories of ghosts, or the legends of the tragic events that took place on the island. He’s only interested in that one small section of time.

When Geoff meets Dr. Enzio di Salvatore, his guide to the island, he thinks maybe he could investigate something else, like every inch of that Italian stud. Little does he know, though, Enzio has a history with the spirits on the island and they demand their due.

Geoff may discover that dealing with angry spirits might end up being easier than falling in love…

Excuse the typo in the blurb. That’s totally on me. 🙂

Enjoy!

Dracul’s Blood available

Good morning, everyone…and it’s started out the right way. I have a new release out with a new publisher and it’s my first co-written effort. 🙂 Dracul’s Blood is ready for downloading at Total e-Bound. Woo-hoo! It was a lot of fun to write with Carol and this is definitely not the only one we’ll be writing…lol. Of course not, since we finished the second book in the series and we have a couple other ideas for stories to work on once Carol recovers from her wrist surgery.

Here’s the blurb for Dracul’s Blood:

Book one in the Dracul’s Revenge Series

When people begin turning up dead, drained of their blood, in New York City, it falls on Detective Bobby Marks to solve the crime. Enlisting the help of Professor Nikolay Radin to help with a strange cask found at a murder scene changes Bobby’s life in ways he never imagines.

A simple consultation turns into so much more when sparks fly between the two men, and Nik is unknowingly pulled into the dangerous world of a secret society.

The Knights of Paiderastia have been around for thousands of years, and refuse to sit by while an ordinary detective and a bookish professor try to take them down.

In a battle against true evil, Bobby begins to wonder whether he can solve the crime and still manage to keep his new lover alive.

Stop by if you get a chance and check it out. 🙂

I hope you all have a great Monday.

Bastet available now…

My newest book, Bastet, is available at Amber Allure. I love the cover. 🙂 Trace did an awesome job on getting just the right statue.

Some of you might recognize it from being posted on my blog…which it was…and I did add a little bit extra to it. It’ll be available in print in mid-June. I can’t wait to get my hands on the paperback version and get a good look at that cover.

Here’s the blurb:

Kellan Largent is a grad student at Harvard. His thesis is on ancient Egyptian religious cults. While immersed in his research, he comes across an obscure reference to the Earth Warrior cult. Little does he know that one sentence in a dusty, tattered book will engulf him in a battle between good and evil. A battle that could be the end of the world as he knows it.

The stray cat wandering the streets around Kellan’s house is more than an abandoned feline. Bastet has roamed the earth from the days when Egypt was young. He’s watched the pharaohs rise and fall, new gods come and go. His purpose, however, has remained the same—protect the earth at all costs and keep the secrets of the Earth Warriors from regular mortals. He’s sent to keep Kellan Largent from finding out the truth about the cult, but also to keep the unsuspecting college student alive.

One man will do anything for the spell that created the Warriors. He wants immortality, and killing Kellan for the secret is just the beginning of the trouble he’ll cause to get what he wants.

Hope you check it out. 🙂

Have a great Sunday.

New Cover alert….

This is the cover for my newest upcoming release from Amber Allure. It’s part of the Working Stiffs series that Amber Allure put a call out for a couple months ago. So all the books with this theme will have the same cover. Pretty yummy, huh?

Here’s the blurb for Lift Your Voice:

Brandon McCollugh returns home after a road-side bomb ends his military career and takes his lower left leg. Learning to walk again is accompanied by trying to find a purpose in life for him. A job with the local landscaper, planting flowers and getting dirty helps Bran rebuild his confidence. Meeting Don opens possibilities for a future Bran never imagined.

Getting kicked out of his very religious, ultra conservative family at the age of sixteen, Donald Frost worked hard to be more than his parents condemned him to be. He teaches music at the local high school and sings at his uncle’s church, satisfied that his life is the best it can be. Then Bran comes home, and Don decides it’s time to grab his own happiness.

When the two men meet, it’s instant attraction changing their lives forever.

The moment I get an actual release date, I’ll let everyone know. 🙂 Also, Carol and I have re-arranged our books and are working on a different one than we planned. Instead of Ancient Protectors, we’re working on The Haunting of St. Xavier. St. Xavier will be out at the end of August, so you’ll be two books from us in August. Woo-hoo! We do plan on writing Ancient Protector, but it’ll be after July. AP is scheduled for a January release at the moment, but of course, like all things, that can change.

I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

Out of Light into Darkness….

So I told you on Wednesday that Total e-Bound contracted my other blind vampire story, Out of Light into Darkness. I’ve got a release date of Oct. 4th for it, but like all dates, nothing’s set in stone until it actually comes out…lol. 🙂

I thought I’d share the unedited blurb with you all. Here you go:

In a world where humans are treated like cattle by vampires, one human must find the courage to love and help the vampire who owns him.

Andor’s been a vampire for centuries and has never experienced weakness in his long life. Yet something runs through his blood, bringing darkness to his sight and his world. His herd of humans has been compromised by a rival, yet there is one man whose blood remains pure. Unfortunately for Andor, Sven ran away from him months ago.

Sven left Andor’s herd when he realised Andor would never see him as anything other than a blood donor. Being dragged back like a spoiled child doesn’t set well with him until he discovers Andor needs him.

Blindness and danger swirls around Andor and Sven as they deal with their own attraction. Will Sven’s blood and love be enough to keep Andor from slipping into the darkness threatening to claim the vampire?

I did some writing yesterday, so all in all, it was a good day.

I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

Be the Air for You available….

In case you didn’t know, my newest Amber Allure release came out yesterday. Be the Air for You is now available and with a 35% discount as well. 😀 Can’t beat that, huh?

Here’s the blurb:

Rock star Rod Hannah is on top of his game, performing all over the world to sold-out arenas. Yet loneliness is a battle he fights along with his long-time addiction to drugs and alcohol. He beat those latter demons three years ago with the aid of his best friend, Hawk McLeod, a doctor who runs a clinic on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico. But when it comes to the loneliness, it’s still a daily struggle for Rod. He’s been in love with Hawk for years, but the timing had never been right for turning their friendship into something deeper and more serious.

Hawk is the person Rod calls in the middle of the night, no matter where he is or what he’s done, and Hawk’s always there for him. Now, when Hawk faces a life-changing crisis and needs him the most, Rod will drop everything to support the man he loves, hoping to show him how perfect they are for each other…

I hope all the mothers had a wonderful day yesterday. Whether you think so or not, you are one of the most important people in the world. Mothers help shape the next generation. 🙂

Have a marvelous Monday, everyone…even if it is a Monday. lol

Friday…Woot!

Well, it’s finally the end of the week. Yay! I can’t wait for the work day to be over, though it’s dreary and cold here. It’s probably going to rain, but hey, that just means I can curl up on the couch and write all weekend without feeling like I should be out getting some exercise or enjoying the sunshine…lol. 🙂

Just signed the contract for Not Seeing is Believing. Thought I’d post the blurb for you. Of course, it’s unedited. 🙂

Blurb:

Living in Strange Hallow, a blind vampire like Barry can have a normal life…or as normal as a blind vampire can have. He has friends and his seeing-eye dog, Angelica. But when he accepts a date with Anthony, his mysterious next-door neighbor, he realizes just what he’s been missing. Love.

Yet when Anthony reveals the reason he’s made Strange Hallow his home, Barry has to question whether Anthony’s interested in him because of his personality, or because of his blindness.

Sometimes the statement love is blind can be the most freeing words of all.

This story takes place in Strange Hollow, a fictional town down south where paranormal creatures, who don’t fit in the ‘normal’ world can go to be safe. Like vampires who are blind, like Barry. 🙂 He falls in love with Anthony, a wizard without any magic. There are already a few stories set in Strange Hollow, and they are available at Liquid Silver. They’re a mixture of m/m and m/f. There’s a m/m/m one even.

As soon as I get a release date, I’ll make sure to let you all know.

I think it’s an interesting overall setting idea, and I might even visit SH again. Barry has a werewolf friend whose story needs to be told, I think. 🙂

I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and a warm weekend.

Wishing for the a Home available tonight…

I hope you all have a great Monday.

Be the Air for You cover

This is the cover for my May 9th Amber Allure release, Be the Air for You. I like it. Very hot! 🙂

I thought I’d give you the blurb and a little unedited excerpt from the story.

Blurb:

Rod Hannah is on top of his game, performing all over the world to sold-out arenas. Yet loneliness is a battle he fights along with his long-time addiction to drugs and alcohol. He beat those demons three years ago because of his best friend, Hawk McLeod.

Hawk is the person Rod calls in the middle of the night, no matter where he’s been, and Hawk’s always there for him. Yet when Hawk needs help fighting a battle he can’t win, Rod will be there.

He’s been in love with Hawk for years, but the timing had never been right for turning their friendship into something deeper and more serious. Now when Hawk needs him the most, Rod will be there for the man he loves, showing him how perfect they are for each other.

Excerpt:

I set my phone down and lean back on the couch, staring at the picture of Hawk. He sent it to me to show me what good my money was doing, but those pictures were my lifeline in many ways. I saw possibilities and reasons, other than being self-centered and egotistical, why I did what I did. Playing music was my only talent, so I did it to the best of my ability and hoped others would get something from it.

Picking up my computer, I set it on my lap and truly look at Hawk. Lines craved at the corner of his mouth weren’t laugh lines. Dark circles under his eyes spoke to me of more sleepless nights than I caused him. The sun glinted off Hawk’s black-blue hair and showed a few strands of silver. My friend looked tired and I had the sudden urge to cancel all my remaining concerts to fly to Arizona and kidnap Hawk. He never knew when to take the time to rest. The clinic, his people, and me were the most important things to him. He’d work himself to death for any of the three and I knew it.

I opened the email Hawk sent me with the picture.

“Maria received her new glasses today. Hopefully her headaches will go away and her grades will improve. I wanted to give you a name and face to think about when you wonder if there is anything good in the world. Your friend always, Hawk.”

I didn’t need another face or name to remind me that good existed. All I had to do was imagine Hawk for he was the epitome of goodness.

Hitting reply, I typed, “Thank you yet again for reaffirming my belief in you. Get some sleep, my friend. Please, I don’t want to hear about you getting sick.”

I hit send and shut my computer down. A knock sounded on my door and I grimaced. Time to be a star, and let Hawk do the important life-altering things.

I hope you all have a great Friday and a marvelous weekend. 🙂
