You Decide

lol..the picture doesn’t really have anything to do with the post, but I thought y’all might like some eye candy to jump start your morning.

Okay, here’s my problem. I have two stories I’d like to write and post as my blog story, but since I don’t have time to do both of them, I need to decide which one to actually focus on. That’s where you come in. 🙂

Since you’re the ones who will be reading it and taking the time out of your days to stop by, I thought I’d let you decide which one I should post. That way, I don’t have to pull my hair trying to pick between them. (it’s like trying to pick between your children, I’m sure.)

So I’m putting up two blurbs. I’d like you to post and tell me which one I should work on. (Don’t worry…both will get done, just one sooner than the other) Okay..here we go.

#1: The Vanguard-
Prince Rathian is the Supreme Commander of the Vanguard, the most elite unit in the Launioc army. His men fight not only for their country and Prince, but they fight for each other. Launioc’s king sends the army into war against Villious and their Queen. As his men die, Rathian’s heart breaks and he longs to find the one person to help him survive the war and the loss of his men.

Stakel is a Queen’s Consort and is abandoned by his fellow Consorts during a battle with the Vanguard. Taken prisoner, he finds himself learning about the enemy he’d been taught to hate. Stakel has been forced to do things he hated and fight for a ruler he owes no loyalty. In Rathian, Stakel finds not only a ruler, but a lover to whom he can give all of himself.

#2 Swearing Allegiance-
When his country, Nutria, is attacked by King Svenson of Sangdon, a neighboring kingdom, Oleg, Prince of the North easily defeats the insane ruler. Oleg and his army march to Sangdon’s capital city to “take over” (there’s a better word for this but can’t think of it right now) the throne and demand allegiance from Sangdon’s nobles and Svenson’s son. He expected some defiance, but he wasn’t expecting the stab of lust that greeted him his first night at court.

Prince Berrin’s relief at his father’s defeat is tempered by caution. He needs time to make up his mind about Oleg. When he asks for that time, the Prince of Nutria graciously gives it to him. Now he has a month to decide if the new king deserves his allegiance and that of Sangdon.

Disturbing rumors reach Oleg’s ears. Rumors that Berrin isn’t the son of the king after all. The Ancient Dark owns Berrin’s soul and will do what ever it must to protect him. Will Berrin and the magic inside him accept Oleg’s authority and his love? Or will the Nutrian Prince find himself fighting a war against a god?

********
Oh before I forget, stop over to LSB and check out Paige’s new book, Plain Jane which she co-authored with Tiffany Aaron. 🙂

Get busy and vote, people. I do have some written on both stories, so as soon as the decision is made, I’ll post the first scene on Thursday.

Monday Madness

Had a good weekend. Managed to recharge and I’m ready to focus on finishing Understanding Forgiveness. Keep your fingers crossed that I get it done this week.

Anne Cain sent me a preliminary sketch for the cover of Stealing Life and it’s hot. As much as I want to beg her to hurry up and get the color done for it, I won’t. Because you shouldn’t rush perfection and I know when she’s done, it’s going to be awesome.

Stop by SiN and check out the excerpt I’ve posted from my short story, Two for One. It’s my contribution to the Three anthology with Bonnie Dee and Lisa Andel. J

Hope you all have a fantastic Monday.

Friday’s Here

Thank god it’s Friday. The week is over and all the craziness is done for now. Our big event went off without a hitch and we finished the clean-up today, so we’re all taking over at 1 today.

Which means I get to be a total geek and go see 300 (if it isn’t sold out.) A kick-ass story with hot men and what looks to be an awesome treatment to the film…what more could I ask for, right?

Now that all the work is done, I’ll actually be able to focus on my writing and finish up Understanding Forgiveness…like I wanted to do this week. Oh well. I promise that starting next Tuesday, there’ll be a new blog story as well. That got put on the back burner. 🙂

Hope everyone has a great Friday.

It’s official

Well, I signed the contracts and it’s official. Both Two for One and Stealing Life have been contracted by LSB. 🙂 There’s no official release date, but Liquid Silver tries very hard to get them out around four months from when the contract is signed so that would be around June or July.

I’m happy about it. Anne Cain is working digilently on the cover for Stealing Life and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with. April Martinez is doing the cover for the Threesome anthology that Two for One is a part of. Bonnie Dee and Lisa Andel are the other two authors with me. So I’ll be getting two awesome covers as well.

As soon as I get a date for the books to come out, I’ll let everyone know. 🙂

Hope your Saturday is going well.

Sorry…

I meant to post the first installment of my next blog story, but time and work got in the way. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get it up for y’all tomorrow.
This is a wonderful picture of the Irish coast. I love it and since my new story is set in a fictionalized version of Ireland, (more along the lines of a Celtic fairy tale) I thought I’d give you some scenery to look at. 🙂
I’m sure some of you have heard that I’ll be writing an anthology with Lisa Andel and Lila Dubois now. I really need to learn how to say no. lol While my blog story isn’t the short story I’ll be writing for the antho. Our choice of theme for the anthology brought about the idea for the blog story. 😉 We’re doing a Molten Fairy tale theme. Don’t ask when it’ll be out because both Lisa and I have a book or two each that we have to finish. And I’ve been pushing Lila to finish the second in her Zonah series. But probably some time this year is the best you’ll get from me at the moment. lol
Have a great day.

Where I’d Like To Be….

I have to admit, I’m fed up with snow and cold. Hopefully it’ll start warming up around here soon. Though this is where I’d rather be..on a tropical beach somewhere. 🙂 Doesn’t it look nice?

I’m working on an interesting and different blog story. I’m hoping to be able to start it tomorrow and post through out the month of March…ending it on the last day of March. We’ll see how it works out. Depends on how much else I have going…lol

The other stories are moving along. I’m so close to typing The End on Understanding Forgiveness. That will done tonight. Then I’ll send it to my cps and see what I screwed up because to be honest, something doesn’t feel right about the story. But my cps are great at telling me what I messed up and how to fix it. 🙂

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and enjoy the beach like I’m going to do (in my mind anyway.)

Another Review for Angel

I got another review yesterday for Angel’s Evolution. 🙂

Stacey at Just Erotic Romance Reviews gave Angel 4 stars and had this to say about the story:

“Written in the first person from the perspective of Angel, Angel’s Evolution staked a place in my heart. I wasn’t expecting the emotions I felt in the midst of this tale…While not overly erotic, Angel’s Evolution was deeply emotional, and TA Chase did a fabulous job with the writing of it.”

Thank you so much, Stacey. I’m thrilled that Angel’s story touched your heart. His voice was so strong, I couldn’t fight him. 🙂

Well, I didn’t finish Understanding Forgiveness like I wanted to yesterday, but I got another 1k written, so I’m closer. Which makes me happy because now I’ve been talked into writing another short story for a Molten anthology with Lisa Andel and Lila Dubois. It should be interesting…lol. I have some other stories to finish as well.

I hope everyone has a great day.

The Prestige

Watched The Prestige last night. It was pretty good. Definitely different from the other magic movie that came out last year..The Illusionist. But that’s okay since Illusionist was more of a romance and this was what revenge costs to two men. Not really sure why Scarlet Johansson was in there for, except to add sex appeal for straight guys, I guess. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale…can you say hot? It was an intriguing look at magicians.

On Wednesday night, I ended up writing 4100 words on Understanding Forgiveness, bringing my total close to 9k. I want to add about 3k more and I think it’ll be done by Sunday night. Then I can focus solely on Tony’s story to get that finished. 🙂 I also wrote the second chapter in the fantasy story that popped into my head the other night. But since I don’t have any plans on adding it to my schedule at the moment, it’ll slowly take shape when I have a little extra time.

I hope everyone has an awesome Friday. I’m looking forward to the weekend.

Wacky Wednesday

Wow..it’s Wednesday all ready? Great. I’m happy about that actually…lol. Means two more days to the weekend.
So the threesome short story I wrote has been accepted by Liquid Silver. We’re just waiting on the contracts. I’m paired with Bonnie Dee and Lisa Andel. Let me tell you, their stories are hot. It’s definitely a Molten book. 😉 Lisa and I are letting Bonnie take the lead on the cover art. She’s already been in touch with April, the art director at LSB. But look for the anthology to be out by June or July. (hopefully…baring any problems)
Stealing Life is being looked over at LSB as well. I’m not worried about them turning it down. They’re really good about taking stories from authors they’ve published before. Just haven’t gotten the official word yet. 🙂 So I’m not going to give you a date for that one’s release yet. Though I know that I’ll be begging Anne Cain to do the cover for it. (If she’s not busy with other things..lol)
Understanding Forgiveness is coming along. I realized the other day though that this might be a sweet story without sex..though there will be some kissing involved. My two heroes just seem to want to take things slow and I don’t want to force the issue if it doesn’t fit in. But who knows? They might surprise me later on in the story. Mason Richardson is my shifter hero. He can change into the form of a snow leopard. Doctor Heinrich Gunther is the other hero. He has a secret eating him up inside. (figuratively and literally) *big grin* I’m a third of the way finished with it…so I’m hoping to have it done sooner rather than later.
Hope everyone has a wonderful wacky Wednesday.

Mad Monday

Well, it’s Monday and another work week has begun. Woo-hoo!
Got some more written on Understanding Forgiveness yesterday. (which is my shifter short story), but I suffer from WADD..commonly known as Writer Attention Deficit Disorder. Meaning..I got a great idea for a new story and had to work on that for a while last night. It’s a fantasy and will be really cool once I get into the meat of the story..lol.
But I hope you all enjoy President’s Day and have a great Monday as well.
