Real Life sucks
Sorry about not having the next installment up. Real life got in the way yesterday, and I couldn’t get the time to write it up. So I’m going to try again today…lol. We’ll see if it works.
Also, some of you might have noticed that two of my Loose-Id titles have disappeared from my site. I asked for Ghost of a Chance and Fighting Dragons back from Loose-Id, and they compiled. I’m working on getting re-release dates for them with a different publisher, so if you haven’t read them, don’t worry. They’ll be back out at some point.
It’s all part of my plan to consolidate publishers, and not make you have to look all over for my books. 🙂 Hopefully my gamble pays off.
Well, have a good day…and I’ll try to get the next installment posted for you tomorrow.
Wear Purple….
This was started to remember the LGBTQ kids who have committed suicide in recent months, and to help bring bullying into the spotlight. Yes, most of the attention has been on the LGBTQ kids, but it’s important that everyone remember that those aren’t the only kids who get bullied in school. It’s any kid who is perceived as different from the normal…because of looks, social status, religion, or ethnicity…among other things.
There needs to be a zero tolerance for any type of bullying because…while our children do need to realize that not everyone will like them and things won’t always go their way, everyone of them should be treated as the precious creature they are. Each child and teenager has something to give to the world, and they shouldn’t end up feeling that extinguishing that light is the only way to make the pain stop.
I have hope that some day things will change. That we, as humans, will learn how to celebrate our differences, instead of persecuting those who aren’t like us. And to all the kids out there who are bullied, whether it’s because you identify as LGBT or are questioning who you are…or are just different in your own unique way, things will get better. Just hang in there and ask for help. There are people out there who will listen and believe. There are people out there who will help you. Because each one of you is beautiful and magical. 🙂
Marvelous Sunday
The movie itself was visual stunning. The colors and affects were a feast to the eyes. There were parts that ran slow, but overall, it’s the best movie I’ve seen in a long time. I like movies that tell about heroic men, fighting against impossible odds. For those who look for historical accuracy in their movies, they won’t find much of it here. That’s okay with me. Maybe if it was a different kind of movie, it would matter.
Haven’t gotten a lot of writing done this weekend. I’m hoping to get some done later on today. Who knows? I might have to focus all over again, starting tomorrow. J
Hope you have a great Sunday.
Friday’s Here
Which means I get to be a total geek and go see 300 (if it isn’t sold out.) A kick-ass story with hot men and what looks to be an awesome treatment to the film…what more could I ask for, right?
Now that all the work is done, I’ll actually be able to focus on my writing and finish up Understanding Forgiveness…like I wanted to do this week. Oh well. I promise that starting next Tuesday, there’ll be a new blog story as well. That got put on the back burner. 🙂
Hope everyone has a great Friday.
