New Contract

It’s only right that I share another picture of Ari, who I used as inspiration for Josh Bauer in Tabloid Star. I just signed a contract today for a new Josh and Ryan story. It’s a short story that takes place on New Year’s Eve. The boys are getting married. 🙂 Woo-hoo!

Pretty awesome, isn’t it? I have the print versions of Out of Bounds and High Line coming out in the beginning of December in one book titled Playing the Game. Then With This Ring will be out some time in December, I assume. Haven’t gotten the official date yet. 🙂 Plus there might be another little bonus Christmas story featuring the guys from my Sports books available as well. Have to wait to hear on that one.

Writing is going well. Bailey and David are cooperating with me, so I’m happy about that. We’ll see how fast Fighting Dragons gets written. I’m hoping pretty fast because there are some other stories that I want to get working on and finished.

I hope you all have a great day.

Soggy Monday

It’s wet and dreary outside. Perfect weather for a Monday, huh? lol

I wrote this weekend, not much but at least I made slight progress of Fight Dragons. And any progress is good progress as far as I’m concerned. 🙂 Other than that, I didn’t do much. Thank goodness the weather was nice. I’m thinking we’re paying for it now.

I hope you all are having a better (or at leats sunnier) Monday than me. 🙂

It’s Friday…

I stole this picture from Jambrea. 🙂 Thanks! It’s a rather nice way to start the weekend..or almost start it. 6.5 more hours until it officially starts. lol

Well, I should have some news by Monday..hopefully. I finished a short story and turned it in. We’ll see when/if the contract shows up. Once it does and I get the okay, I’ll tell you all about it.

Now I’m working on my next Dragons story, Fighting Dragons, which will be out sometime next Spring. (Fingers crossed) I have a deadline of Nov. 1st for it to be into my editor. I’ll be working my little fingers to the bone on that.

After which, I will be finishing up the next Home story. It’s about time I get this one done. It’s so close to the end. Just needs to add a few more chapters to tie everything up.

That’s it for the moment. I have a whole bunch of other stories to continue to work on. I’m not sure which one I’ll pick up after His Heart’s Home is finished. Guess I’ll have to see which one strikes my fancy.

Hope you all have a great Friday and a fun and safe weekend.

Happy Hunk Day.

Very nice tan line, huh? 😀

Hmmm…what to talk about? To be honest, not much is going on except writing for me. lol. What else is new?

Yes, Bitter Creek’s Redemption comes out at the end of this month. I hope you all like it when it comes out since I didn’t finish it on the blog, the last chapter or so will be a surprise. 😉 And I do plan on writing at least one more Travis Ramsey/Eagle Burlington book, because-for those of you who remember the story-Travis doesn’t stop being his family’s ‘Helper’. He just takes charge of his life a little more.

Well, I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

In the Writing Cave…

Wasn’t sure what picture would show up when I chose it. I just blindly picked one…lol…out of my pic file. 🙂 Not bad.

The weekend was very relaxing, though I did write and I’ll be writing all night tonight. Thought about taking the day off the evil day job to just stay home and write. I want to finish some stories up that have been hanging around for a while. Cross them off my list of things to get done, so I can get to some new ideas I have floating around my head. 🙂 Hopefully I can get some words written during lunch. Keep your fingers crossed.

I hope you all had a great weekend and not too terrible a Monday.

T.G.I.F.

A little eye candy for your viewing pleasure. 🙂

Thank goodness, it’s almost the weekend. When I leave work tonight, I’m going to forget about this place for two days and just relax. I will be writing, but no worrying about anything else. Maybe catch a little tennis along the way.

I hope you all have a great Friday and an awesome weekend.

Woo-Hoo Friday’s Here…

It’s a three-day weekend as well. Woot! Can’t wait. Of course, there will be fun with friends and family, plus a little golf. And some writing along the way…lol. I can never go an entire day without writing. That’s just impossible and might drive me over the edge into insanity. 🙂 (Which at times doesn’t seem that far away)

Also, thank you all so much for making Tabloid Star and Nick of Time such huge successes. I have one more coming out at the end of Sept, then a small break before Playing the Game (featuring Out of Bounds and High Line) comes out in Dec. Great Christmas or holiday present, I think. 😉

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend.

Oh Goodie…

It’s Monday again…lol.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. It rained here yesterday, but all in all, it was a pretty nice weekend. I didn’t get as much writing done as I wanted. Too many real life things got in the way. Guess I’ll just have to try harder this week to get some extra writing done.

Have a great day, even if it is Monday.

Woo-Hoo! It’s Friday

It’s Friday and I’m looking forward to the weekend. I hope you all are as well. As long as it doesn’t rain or get too unbearably hot. 🙂

I got a peek at the cover flat for my Samhain print release, that’s scheduled to come out in Dec. (But as you know, the date’s subject to change until it actually comes out…lol) Oh boy, is it pretty. I’m sure you all will love it as much as I do. When I get the okay, I’ll post it here for you to drool over. Playing the Game has both Out of Bounds and High Line in it. So you get both Johnson boys for the price of one…lol.

Other stories are rolling and I’m hoping to get at least one finished over the weekend. Then I’ll be starting Fighting Dragons along with finishing a couple other works in progress that need to be completed. 🙂

Have a great weekend, everyone.

New Contract

I think there’s a story here with this picture. I just have to figure out what it is. 🙂

Usually, I wait to announce a new contract, but the signed contract is in the mail. Loose-Id will be publishing the next Dragon book, Fighting Dragons, next spring. This will be the story of Bailey Stevenson and David Wellmine, two of the Dragon Slayers unit. I’m sure you remember them. It’s also another St. Patrick’s Day story, featuring Irish magic and Seamus in all his elven glory. lol…All the guys will make an appearance.

Writing is going well on several different stories, keeping me busy, but my mind is settling down and allowing me to focus on one story instead of three or four at a time. Which is good news.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Hump Day.
