Hello…
I’m in the last couple of chapters of a book I’ve been struggling to finish the last month. It should be done today, so I’m hoping to give you all installments on Thursday and Friday. If not, then you’ll definitely get one for sure on Friday. 🙂
Thanks for being patient. Have a great day.
New book available….
Scarecrows and Devils came out on Sunday from Amber Allure. Click here to check it out. It’s in 1st person pov…in case you don’t like those kind of stories. 🙂 I enjoyed writing it and think I might go back to visit Ace and Dulles again.
I got caught up in the book I’m working on right now, so I lost track of time and didn’t get the installment for Anubis done. Don’t worry. There will be one on Wednesday. I promise. lol
I hope you all have a great day.
Catching a new wind…
I’m still not up to speed on my writing, but I’m getting there. I’m doing some work on Anubis, so there will be a new installment on Wednesday. Yay! 🙂 And hopefully one on Thursday as well.
I wanted to give you all an update because I know you’re eagerly awaiting the next one. It will happen, I promise.
New cover…
This is the cover for my next release, Scarecrows and Devils, which is part of the 77th Precinct PAX at Amber Allure. All five of the stories will be out on May 24th. I really enjoyed writing this one, so I hope you enjoy reading it. 🙂
I’ve been having a lot of problems writing this month. Anubis is pretty much the only story I’ve worked on regularly since the beginning of April. Not sure why, but my muse isn’t talking to me as much as I’d like. So I’m behind on my first Merging Violently book, which is the spin-off series from my Home books. I need to buckle down and get it written, so unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to do any installments for Anubis this week. I’m hoping that once I get into the story, it’ll start flowing and I can get back to my regular routine.
Please bear with me while I work this writing problem out. I promise I’ll get back to posting stuff like I usually do.
Hugs and I hope you have a great week.
New Book…
I forgot to share the cover when I got it, but this is Shuffle of Angel’s Feet and it’s out now. 🙂 Here’s the link to it. I adore this cover and think it goes really great with Bitter Creek’s Redemption, the first book in the series.
I’m working on Anubis right now, plus I have a short story that I need to get done in the next two days. lol So I’ll be typing my fingers to the bones for you all…lol don’t worry, it’s for me as well since these characters are bugging me to get their stories written.
Hope you have a great Monday.
Thursday Work in Progress…
I know today is supposed to be another installment of Anubis, but you’ll get that on Friday. I promise. 🙂 I thought I’d share with you one of the new stories I’m working on. This is actually the first book in a new series as well.
The series is titled The Blood & Thorn Ranch. It mixtures cowboys and vampires…along with other various supernatural creatures. There’ll be six books in the series. This one is called Bulls and Blood, featuring Wesley, the youngest Thorn brother (The Thorns are vampires) and Mino (a human cowboy)
Here’s a little taste of it.
Bulls and Blood copyright c. 2015 T.A. Chase
Excerpt-
“Wesley?” Day shouted as he barrelled into the house. “Where the hell are you?”
Wesley grimaced as he studied the figures on the spreadsheet he was working on. “Where do you think I am, Amadeus?”
Day burst into the office where Wesley spent a majority of his time. Wesley watched as Day almost bounced off the walls while muttering and waving his hands around.
“What seems to be the problem, brother dear?” Wesley leaned back in his desk chair, resting his hands on his stomach.
Day whirled to point at him. “Did you know Loman bought another bull?”
Wesley sighed. “Yes. I did know that because I’m the one who okay’d the purchase. Why are you upset about it?”
“I wanted to build another cabin, so we can bring more visitors here. Which will bring in more money.” Day threw his hands in the air. “I can’t do that when Loman’s buying more animals that we don’t do anything with.”
“First of all, did you read the email I sent to everyone last week before he got the bull?” He gave a mental eye roll when Day dropped his gaze to his feet then shuffled them against the hardwood floor. “No, you didn’t and I’m not surprised. Why do I spend this extra time trying to keep you all in the loop when none of you read what I send you?”
Day glared. “They’re so wordy. If you just put the important stuff at the beginning, I’d read it.”
“You mean the stuff that matters to you,” Wesley commented then motioned for Day to stay quiet. “If you had actually read it, you would’ve seen I’ve budgeted the money for you to build that silly cabin along with Loman’s bull. We have more than enough to make improvements to the ranch and the herd.”
“Seriously?” Day stared at him. “Why did you tell me earlier?”
“Because silly me, I thought you might have read the email. Next time, I’ll remember no one does and come see you each separately.” Wesley nodded toward the door. “Now that you know you can build it, get out of here. I’m trying to arrange the schedule for the next couple of hunts we have.”
Day folded his arms over his chest and kept looking at him. Wesley went back to the computer screen, trying not to let Day’s continued presence bother him. Finally, he glanced up and scowled.
“Why the hell are you still here?” Wesley threw the pen he held at Day.
His brother caught it then sent the pen back to him in one quick moment. He batted it out of the way, not caring where it ended up. Amadeus was the third oldest Thorn brother while Wesley was the baby, and having five older brothers was a pain he’d grown used to over the thousands of years they’d been alive.
New Covers…
Happy Friday, everyone. I hope you’re all doing well. 🙂 I’m feeling much better and hoping to get back on track with my writing. All of it…lol
I thought I’d share two new covers I received for two of my upcoming March releases. First up is Cead Mile Milte, which is a St. Patrick’s Day story that’ll be out at MLR Press on March 13th. It’s about Finn and Sawyer, who meet at a 5k race and hit it off. It’s a short story. 🙂
Next up is Trailing Air, the long anticipated book 4 in my Preternatural series. This is Rover’s story and it will also close the over all arc that’s been going on in the first three books. It won’t be the last book in the series though. I plan on giving Jess/Pavel, Gianni/Roman and Ba’el/Raze their own stories. 🙂 (Hopefully a little quicker than I did Rover…lol) Trailing Air will be out March 15th at Amber Allure, so you’ll get two books in a row from me. (Oh also, Love’s Baggage and Trailing Air will be coming out together in a print book in April some time…so you can have all four Preternatural books in print.)
I love both of these covers. As soon as I get the cover for Shuffle of Angel’s Feet, I’ll share it with you. Shuffle will be out at the end of March from Amber Allure.
That’s all I have to share right now. I hope you all have a great weekend.
Happy Monday
I forgot I didn’t share the cover to Snap Decision, the second book in the Delarosa Secrets trilogy. Here it is. This one is about D’Marcus “Snap” Jefferson, a DEA agent and Mac’s friend. (Mac is one of the main characters in Borderline, the first Delarosa book) Ken Santos is the other main character and he has a few secrets. One of which he doesn’t even know about until a little later in the book. lol.
Book 3 is titled Cold Truth. I haven’t started it yet. It’s on the list to get started on Feb. 1st, but I’m hoping to finish up the story I’m working on early this week to get to CT sooner. CT is about the eldest Delarosa brother, Victor, and for those of you who have read Borderline when it was out originally, you’ll remember Victor isn’t really a nice guy. Yet like the other two, he has his own secrets and when they’re revealed, I’m hoping you all love him as much as I do…lol
I just signed the contract for Climbing the Savage Mountain, the sequel to Mountains to Climb in Totally Bound’s What’s His Passion line…and it’ll be up for pre-order August 28th. Also I signed a contract for Cead Mile Milte (there are accents to go over some of the letters…lol) It’s a short story for St. Patrick’s Day. It’ll be out at MLR Press on March 13th. Yay!
I’m working on Scarecrows and Devils, which is a crime/suspense/paranormal story for a PAX at Amber Allure. I think you’ll like the characters in this one. Also, Jackie Nacht and I are working on A Bittersweet Dance, the second book in our Mark of the Jersey Devil series.
Hmm…at the moment I think that’s all there is to talk about. I’ll be posting a question tomorrow about what kind of story you’d like to see next on the blog. 🙂
Have a great Monday…and for those of you in the Northeast, stay safe and warm.
New Covers…
I’ve had these covers for a while and have just forgotten to share them here. Sorry about that, but here you go.
The first is from the Semper Fidelis anthology which will be out in February from Totally Bound. It features stories about Marines, Navy and Coast Guard soldiers. 🙂
This second cover is for my story, Always Ready, when it comes out as a single release. Not sure of the date on that. But I do love this cover. My story features a Coast Guard rescue diver and a Bering Sea crab fisherman. 🙂 (And I’ll admit to watching way too many episodes of Deadliest Catch…lmao)
And this third cover goes to my Tarot/Fortune PAX story, Deserves to be Adored. This one will be out probably in February at Amber Allure. When I get more info on it, I’ll let you know. 🙂
I do believe that’s all I have to share with you at the moment.
I want to thank all of you for reading my books and my blog throughout 2014. I wouldn’t be able to do what I love without your support. There’s going to be just as much fun and excitement in 2015, with some sequels coming out that you’ve been waiting impatiently for. lol
Trailing Air, Book 4 in the Preternatural series (Rover’s story) will be out in the spring. I’ll be writing Edward’s story as well this year. He’ll finally get his own happy ending and I hope you all love that. Though his story will be either the second or third book in a new series I’m writing, but it is a spin-off from the Home series. So you’ll be seeing some favorite characters/couples again. And meeting some new characters as well. 🙂
I hope you all had a safe and happy New Year’s.
Happy Monday
I just thought I’d drop you all a line to let you know that Trailing Air is coming along nicely. 🙂 That makes me happy. Also, you’ll be getting two installments of Angel’s Feet this week, even with the holiday.
I hope everyone is safe and warm today. I’m off to workout then to get writing. Yay!
