Happy hump day, everyone. I’m submitting Kissed by God today. It’s already scheduled to be released on May 8th. 🙂
I’ve started working on my next story, Pestilence. It’s supposed to be around 35k, and I shouldn’t have a problem getting that. I want it done by the end of March, but to be honest, I’m hoping it’ll be finished sooner than that. I’d like to be ahead of schedule, just in case I run into a snag or end up not writing for a couple days.

I’m so freaking tired of snow, cold, and wind. I’m seriously considering becoming a snow bird next year and flying down to the Islands for the entire winter. I could do that. Great thing about writing for a living…I can take it anywhere without having to worry about not getting it done. 🙂
Well, I’m in the home stretch of Kissed by God. Got another chapter or two to go, then it’s finished. Next up in line is Pestilence, the first in a new series I’m sending to Total e-Bound. And there will be work done on other books as well. I have a bunch of deadlines I need to hit. Can’t be too unhappy about that, huh?

Not that it really matters to me one way or the other this weekend, since I’ll be writing. I need to finish up edits on one story and try really hard to finish Kissed by God this weekend. I just might be able to do that, but it depends on if I start feeling better or not. Somehow I’ve managed to catch a cold. Not sure how I did it when I haven’t really seen anyone this week aside from C. lol…maybe he got me sick.
Oh, and the links for Cafe on the Corner are fixed now. They should all go to the right installment instead of repeating Installment five. 🙂

Going to be busy writing today. I have to do the next installment of Cafe, plus continuing working on Kissed by God. Maybe that’s why I got up earlier than I usually do. 🙂 But that’s okay….nothing like getting an early start to the day. I can always take a nap this afternoon if I hit my word goals for each story.

When is winter going to be over? It’s snowing yet again and I’m sure it’ll be cold outside. Ugh!
I’m hoping things will flow today and I’ll be able to finish Borderline today. I’ve got about 2-3k left to finish, which is the last half of a chapter. Then I’ll be sending it out to my beta reader and my proofreader. Woot! Then on to Kissed by God, a story for another PAX at Amber Allure. As soon as I write up a blurb for it, I’ll post it.

to finishing
Shades of Dreams, I can taste it. I’m only about another 2-3k away. Have to finish up the chapter I’m on right now, then write the epilogue. Woo-hoo! That means it should be done today or tomorrow at the latest. As soon as I get a date for a release, I’ll let you know.
Someone asked the other day where I was going to sub it, and the answer is Amber Allure. I already talked to Trace, the publisher, and we’re planning to put both
Be The Air For You and
Shades together in one print anthology. That way you can get both my rocker stories in one. 🙂
Once
Shades is done, I’ll be focusing on the two stories I want done by Dec. 1. But I also have a story I’ve been working on in my journal that I carry with me everywhere. I write in it when I get an idea or scene and don’t want to lose it. Or if I’m waiting in line somewhere…lol. I’ve lost track of how many journals I actually have. It has to be over 8o now.
Anyway, back from my tangent, I posted a little scene a long time ago on my blog called Kissed by Gods. I’ve refined the title to
Kissed by God, and I’m expanding it. I’m not sure how many words I have so far, since it’s all long hand and not typed in. I thought maybe this weekend I’d sit down and type in what I have written to see how much further I have to go on the story. 🙂 I really like the story line and the two characters. One of which is a recovering heroin addict, hence the title. “Kissed by God” is a term used by addicts to describe the high they get from the drug.
