Monday…Monday…..

Had a good weekend, even though not a ton of writing got done. But I did do a little. πŸ™‚ Not much to report, except I wanted to let everyone know that the marvelous artist who did my Understanding the Past cover was Valerie Tibbs. Have to give credit where credit is due.

I hope you all had a great weekend, and try to enjoy today even if it is a Monday.

Yay! The weekend’s almost here…

hmmm….what to say? Not much new going on. Just doing the usual…writing. πŸ™‚ That’s what I’ll be doing this weekend as well, as much as I can in between other things. I want to get a good amount done on a story I started over Memorial Day. I can’t complain about how many words I have so far, but I’d like to be around half done when Monday rolls around.

I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

#1 Again…

I’ll admit that what I like most about this picture is the guy’s tattoo…lol. πŸ™‚ It’s beautiful.

I just want to thank everyone for making Be the Air for You the #1 Best Seller for May at Amber Allure. This is my fourth book in a row that’s hit #1. Also, it’s listed at #7 on All Romance Ebooks Best Seller list today.

You don’t know how much I appreciate the fact that you’re willing to spend your hard earned dollars on my stories. πŸ™‚ It humbles me and makes me determined to keep going. I don’t want to disappoint any of you. πŸ˜‰

I hope you all have a great and dry Wednesday since it’s raining here.

Postponed….

due to two minor issues. I didn’t get home until really late last night, so I wasn’t able to schedule the next installment of Wolf’s Survival. Then I was in such a rush to leave for work this morning, I forgot my flash drive that has WS on it at home.

So unfortunately installment #22 will be up tomorrow for everyone to enjoy before the holiday weekend. πŸ™‚

Sorry about that, folks. Have a great Thursday anyway.

Yawn….It’s Monday

Wow…where did the weekend go? lol…busy and I’ve got a huge sunburn. Ugh! I hate it. πŸ™‚ But at least my lawn looks good.

Did some writing. Not as much as I’d like, but I had a few other things to get done over the weekend. So I’m hoping to pick up the slack this week.

Not much else to talk about.

I hope you all have a great Monday.

Oops…

Sorry, everyone. I got busy filling out some contract stuff and totally lost track of time…lol.

Yes, I’ll have some good news as soon as the ‘papers’ get signed. πŸ™‚ Writing went well this weekend. Carol and I finished our second book, Anarchy in Blood. I didn’t get quite as much written on my other story as I wanted, but that’s okay. I’m only about 3k or so from hitting my goal, so it won’t be much longer for this book. Woot! Then it’s head-first into another story. No rest for the wicked, huh? πŸ™‚

I hope you all have a great Monday.

Wednesday Wisdom…

What sort of wisdom do I have to impart today?

Have no fear of perfection, you’ll never reach it- Salvador Dali

It does sound like something he would say, I think. And it’s the truth. No one will ever be perfect, so while I may strive for it, I’m not going to drive myself crazy trying to attain it. πŸ™‚

Just the wanderings of my mind as I get ready to start work today. I’m hoping to sneak in some writing time as I go along today. If not, I’ll be writing tonight.

I hope you all have a sensational Wednesday.

Friday…Woot!

Well, it’s finally the end of the week. Yay! I can’t wait for the work day to be over, though it’s dreary and cold here. It’s probably going to rain, but hey, that just means I can curl up on the couch and write all weekend without feeling like I should be out getting some exercise or enjoying the sunshine…lol. πŸ™‚

Just signed the contract for Not Seeing is Believing. Thought I’d post the blurb for you. Of course, it’s unedited. πŸ™‚

Blurb:

Living in Strange Hallow, a blind vampire like Barry can have a normal life…or as normal as a blind vampire can have. He has friends and his seeing-eye dog, Angelica. But when he accepts a date with Anthony, his mysterious next-door neighbor, he realizes just what he’s been missing. Love.

Yet when Anthony reveals the reason he’s made Strange Hallow his home, Barry has to question whether Anthony’s interested in him because of his personality, or because of his blindness.

Sometimes the statement love is blind can be the most freeing words of all.

This story takes place in Strange Hollow, a fictional town down south where paranormal creatures, who don’t fit in the ‘normal’ world can go to be safe. Like vampires who are blind, like Barry. πŸ™‚ He falls in love with Anthony, a wizard without any magic. There are already a few stories set in Strange Hollow, and they are available at Liquid Silver. They’re a mixture of m/m and m/f. There’s a m/m/m one even.

As soon as I get a release date, I’ll make sure to let you all know.

I think it’s an interesting overall setting idea, and I might even visit SH again. Barry has a werewolf friend whose story needs to be told, I think. πŸ™‚

I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and a warm weekend.

Happy Hump Day!!!

Half way through the week and I have one set of edits down. I plan on working on the second set today and get those finished, so I can get back to writing new stuff. πŸ™‚ Yay! Edits are necessary evils, but sometimes I just plain don’t like doing them. I guess it’s because I don’t like going back and reading what I’ve written. Though I need to in order to catch mistakes. And sometimes, even though I do that, they still slip through. Oh well, guess I can’t be perfect all the time. lol

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.

Dreary Monday

First of all, sorry I didn’t post anything on Friday. It was one of those times where I thought I did, and then last night, I realized I didn’t. πŸ™ Sorry about that. It got really busy for me in the morning and I lost track of what I did and didn’t do…lol.

So I’m posting early today. That way I know for sure I posted and, in case things get really busy again, I’ll be okay. πŸ™‚

Good news. Liquid Silver wants to contract Not Seeing is Believing. As soon as I have a blurb, I’ll post it for you all. It’s a short story, not really angst-ridden or anything. I hope you all enjoy it. I’m thinking it might be out in August or September with LSB’s usual schedule.

Well, I have to go get ready for work. Have a good Monday, everyone.
