Hunk Day…

It’s already Wendesday. Wow…for some reason this week seems to be flying by.
Nothing exciting is going on. The retreat went well, so I can’t complain there.
Oh Bege, if you stop by, Seamus is from the Realm of Dreams and he makes an appearance in Dreaming of Dragons as well. Maybe in the future, he’ll have his own story. I’m not sure about that yet. But yes, there is a little cross-over between the books. π
Dreaming of Dragons will be out this month. Yay! Finally for all of you who have been patiently waiting for it…lol. It’ll be released closer to the end of the month than the beginning…like possibly the last week in May. π Perfect start to your summer reading.
Hope you all have a great day.
Allergies #1

I wanted to thank everyone for making Allergies the #1 best seller at Amber Allure for the month of April. π I really appreciate the way you all get behind my stories, especially my blog stories that get released by a publisher.
Not much got done writing wise the past two weeks or so. The ‘real’ world intruded…lol. Darn it. But I plan on getting back into the swing of things and get some stuff done soon.
I hope you all had a great weekend and I see that you’ve been enjoying Bitter Creek’s Redemption. Yes, I’m an evil man…lol.
Have a great Monday, everyone.
Two New Covers
Nowhere Diner: Finding Love will be out in July. Here’s the unedited blurb:
Leaving
Stopping at a diner for dinner, Tim finds more than a good meal, he finds a family and meets Bernie Capley, a long haul trucker who isnβt all that he seems.
Falling in love with Bernie is easy for Tim, but the past has a way of barging into the present, forcing decisions that could affect the future.
And Death or Life will hopefully be out in June. I just completed my first set of edits on it. π Here’s the blurb for this one.
Noah Wiltson wants nothing more than to be left alone. His fatherβs candidacy for President forces him to have secrets. Imagine his surprise when a hired killer gives him the means to live his life without doubt or fear.
The killer knows this hit is going to be his last. Whether he chooses to walk away or whether they kill him. Heβs never been a team player, so he ends the game on his terms.
A few months later, Noah meets Cain Packert, a man who intrigues and excites him. Only one of them knows the truth. Can they find love amid secrets and threats?
Pretty nice covers, don’t you think? π Oh and for the person who said to get working on the Dragons story. The story is already done and in the hands of my editor. I’m just waiting for my edits. I’m hoping it’ll be released soon.
Hope you all have a great Monday.
New Coming Soon

Now this would be a pretty cover, don’t you think? π But unfortunately, it isn’t…lol
I signed a contract with Samhain over the weekend for a new book. No release date yet, but as usual, as soon as I find out, I’ll let everyone know. This book was inspired by two pictures one of my friends posted. And Jambrea, this book is all yours…lol..tattoos and a lot of licking. π
Here’s the unedited blurb for Tabloid Star. I’m sure it’ll be slightly different when it comes out.
Can a one-night stand turn into love?
As a bartender at the Lucky Seven club, Joss Bauer has the opportunity to take a guy home every night if he wishes. Working three jobs makes it difficult to connect with anyone at more than a superficial level. Then one night he picks a guy up and takes him home. When the man is gone in the morning, Joss believes nothing will come of it. Until pictures show up on the front page of a tabloid and he finds out his one-night stand wasnβt who he thought he was.
Ryan Kellarβs career is taking off. Advance buzz about his movie says itβs a block-buster, so he goes to the Lucky Seven to celebrate. Going home with the gorgeous bartender is his present, but he leaves in the morning before Joss is awake, not wanting to risk being discovered. Heβs shocked and angry when pictures of him and Joss together surface. Had Joss played him for a fool?
Each man has his own problems to deal with resulting from the tabloid pictures. Can they figure out who took them and learn to trust each other as their worlds fall apart?
I can’t wait for you all to meet Joss and Ryan. On Friday, I’ll post the pictures I used for inspiration for the guys. π
Have a great day.
Happy Friday
Sorry about not having a picture for you all to check out. π Don’t have a lot of time. If you want to see some nice eye candy, stop by Wave’s blog today.Just wanted to thank you all for making High Line #1 on Samhain’s Top Ten Bestsellers list for the second day in a row. Also, I wanted to let you know that Death or Life will be released by Liquid Silver sometime in June. I don’t have an exact date yet, but I asked for June and they were very willing to schedule it then.
I have more good news coming. Nothing’s been finalized yet, but as soon as it is, you’ll be the first to know.
Hope everyone has a great day and weekend.
Happy President’s Day
I know you will all be stopping by to check out my newest attempt at poetry, but unfortunately I had a really busy weekend…lol..and didn’t have any time to write anything. But if you want to read an oldie, but a goodie, I posted something at SEx (the Liquid Silver Blog).
Also, if you don’t have anything to do tonight, Dana Marie Bell and I are having a chat tonight at the Samhain Cafe from 8-10 pm. We’ll be chatting about our books coming out tomorrow. Woo-hoo!
Remember, I won’t be posting an installment of Bitter Creek’s Redemption tomorrow. Part Fifteen will be posted on Wednesday. π
Hope you all have a great day and I’ll try to be more on the ball tomorrow.
Happy Friday the 13th

Do you believe in the bad luck and weird things that are supposed to happen on Friday the 13th? I’m not sure I do, but at times, it does seem like the really odd stuff happens on this day. π Of course, I have a black cat cross my path tons of times when I’m at home and nothing bad has happened to me yet. π
Happy Valentine’s Day as well. I hope it’s a wonderful day for everyone.
I also wanted to give everyone a heads-up. Next week, the Tuesday installment of Bitter Creek will be on Wednesday. High Line comes out next Tuesday and I’ll be posting an excerpt to entice you. lol…though I do hope you all were planning on picking it up at some point.
Have a great day, everyone. Stay safe and warm.
Theme Songs
One of my readers asked me about the music I listen to as I’m writing or even if I listen to music at all. The answer is yes and all kinds. I don’t usually have a specific playlist for each book. What I have are theme songs for them. One or two songs that I play that helps me capture the mood of the story or what I’m trying to say. Sometimes, the song might not seem to have anything to do with the story, but there is a line or two that fits. I thought I’d give you the songs that I’ve decided could be used as theme songs for each of my books (except for the anthology stories…lol)Here we go:
No Going Home: “Lonely No More”- Rob Thomas
“Soft Place to Fall”- Chris LeDoux
Here Be Dragons: “The Storm”- Blackmore’s Night

Wednesday at last…

On Sunday, Samhain gave out their first annual Sammie awards. It was an ambitious challenge because they went all the way back to 2006 when they opened to find out the top ten bestsellers and reader’s choices from each year, plus best cover art. I’m sure any of you who took their survey know what I’m talking about…lol.
I’m proud to say that Out of Bounds tied for 4th place in the 2008 Reader’s Choice catagory. π I tied with some pretty awesome authors, Lorelei James, Maya Banks, and Lauren Dane. Thank you all for voting and if you voted for me, double thanks. π
More good news, I just signed the contract for Liquid Silver to publish Death or Life…which means Mars’s Assassin has moved up on my writing schedule. I’ll be adding additional scenes to DoL. I don’t have a release date yet, though it will be out this year…lol.
This gives me six books contracted to come out so far this year. Woo-hoo! And I’m only in January. I still have several months to go to get more released this year. I have another book in with one of my editors. Who knows? That one might be my seventh.
I’m at 41k on Nick of Time and things are really flowing with that story. Plus I did a little work on His Heart’s Home and Bound by Trust (JT’s story…Tyler’s brother) Those two are lined up to be worked on as soon as Nick is done.
It’s snowing here. I hope everyone who is in the midst of the big snowstorm is safe and warm. π Have a great Wednesday.
New Cover and various news
First of all, I got the final cover for my January release. My story, Where the Devil Dances, is part of the year long Hearts Afire series featuring firemen (or women…which ever one the author picks…lol) Bonnie and I are kicking off the series with two hot m/m romances for you. Check it out here. While you’re there, browse through all the coming soon books and see the Hearts Afire books coming out in the next several months as well.Second of all, I know some of you have noticed the newest Coming Soon cover posted on the sidebar of my blog. Yes, Allergies will be published by Amber Allure, the GLBT imprint from Amber Quill Press. It’ll be coming out in the beginning of April in ebook form(tentatively…lol…most dates I give you will be tentative dates from all my publishers.) with the print version releasing a couple of weeks later. (again tentatively) Amber Allure is where I’ll be sending Nick of Time when I finish it. π
Thirdly, (is that a word..lol) I wanted to thank everyone who bought Home of his Own this year. It is in the Top 8 Best Sellers at Liquid Silver Books and it’s all because of you. So thanks bunches. π If you want to check out the other best sellers, click here or here. Tina at LSB was gracious enough to post all this information for readers and authors.
Fourth, I want to thank everyone who has stopped by my blog throughout the year. It doesn’t matter whether you leave a comment or not. Or even if you email me personally to tell me what you think about what I’ve posted every day. I’m thrilled that you make my blog a daily stop for you. I’m hoping you’ll continue to do so in 2009. I have a bunch of great books coming out next year and this is the spot to catch the covers and excerpts and eye candy. π
Last, I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe New Year’s Eve. May 2009 be the best year of your life so far and may you read a ton of awesome books.
