What do you think….
Okay, I have to admit…I don’t have a title for this story yet…lol. Maybe you all can help me come up with one. I’m leaning towards giving you another paranormal story. This one will have vampires, werewolves and other other worldly creatures. Maybe an avatar or two…lol.
I wrote the blurb up real quick, so it might not be the best one you’ve read. But I hope you get the idea of what the story is about and will tell me if you think it’ll be interesting. If you don’t think so, I’ll see if I can come up with another story blurb for Thursday. 🙂
Untitled Vampire Story:
Blurb:
Gryphon’s in trouble. Captured and tortured by humans, the ancient vampire is dying. The humans gave him enough blood to continue his torture, but not enough to heal or free himself. He’s on the brink of death when a meal is tossed into his cell.
Nick knows all about the monsters lurking in the dark corners of the world. Unfortunately for him, it’s the humans who try to kill him. Broken and bloody, he’s thrown into a cell with a vampire. Knowing he’s dying, Nick offers his blood to the vampire, willing to sacrifice himself to save the tormented man.
Gryphon accepts Nick’s offer and the first drink of blood will bind them together through a life-changing adventure. The worlds of human and supernatural collide, catching Nick and Gryphon in the middle.

I love the blurb TA and want the story SOON. I like both of the top two titles. The only other I can thing of is a takeoff from your blurb:

I am also going to vote for In the Nick of Time. Or you could combine the two if you think this might turn into a series, Unlikely Savior: In the Nick of Time. that leaves you a lot of leeway to come up with subsequent titles and makes the series identifiable.
Great blurb! I can’t wait for Thursday to see what you’ve written. As for titles, I’m for Unlikely Savior. It sounds more like you and the titles you’ve chosen so far.

I think INOT was some movie in the late 80s or early 90s. I like Unlikely Savior.
I don’t normally like vampire stories. This just proves what an awesome writer you are. Because this sounds so great!!

I get confused when novels have similar titles (plays havoc with my filing system). In the Nick of Time was the title of a Scott&Scott novel.

I ended Allergies last Thursday. I know Ray didn’t get to meet Mom and Dad, but their meeting will come in one of the brothers’ stories. Depending on which brother I write about first. 🙂

It sounds really good. Unfortunately thinking of titles have never been my thing, though a world play on an old saying always works.
Please don’t use anything with dark, because I have about 30 books in the shelves that have the word dark in the title.
