I’m sure these two young ‘uns are finding all sorts of mischief to get into. 🙂 Or else the one in the white hat’s about to going swimming if their horse pushes him in…lol.
Well 58k was reached last night…actually I’m 200 words away from 59k, but I’ll be hitting 60k tonight. My partner’s gone for the night, so except for my cats, I won’t have any distractions.

I’m only organized about somethings. And my writing is one (usually anyway) The rest of my life is utter chaos. 🙂
So organized. So cute.
Kate, I keep track of my word count in several different places. Here and in a calander I carry with me. Also I have file cards at home for each story and I keep track that way. It might be overkill, but I like to know how much I’ve written in a day. I have a goal of 2k a day. Sometimes I don’t make it..some days I do.
And then like you said, some days the words just need a rest..lol.
Trust me…on those days, I’ll need you all to remind me why I do this..lol
What a great idea about posting word count, T.A. I hate that drought between stories. Sometimes if feels like the words will never come again. I went through that a little while ago and I hated it. Absolutely hated it. Some say that you just have to write anyway…I don’t know. I’ll try that next time and see what happens. Maybe the words just need a rest…
Congrats honey!! When the words slow down we’ll be here to remind you that you’re a writer. Until then…enjoy the word landslide!

It’s been a good last couple of weeks. I usually start out slow on a story and then the farther into the ‘world’ I’ve created..the more I write. It might be the farther along I am..the more I have invested in the characters.
Get cracking on your vampire story. It sounds really good. 🙂
Posting the totals will help inspire me when I start complaining about not being able to write a sentence later on. lol I know that’ll happen after this story is done and before I really get into my next one.
