Reading…

These are the two books I wanted to tell y’all about yesterday, but just didn’t get time to. π Though I’m glad you enjoyed the eye candy.
Both of them are by Ally Blue. I read Ally’s first book, Forgotten Song and fell in love with her writing. Hot male sex and at times, heart wrenching emotions. She does it all. π
Easy is out at Loose-Id. Click on the title to read the blurb. I’ll warn you though…there are some graphic scenes, so if you have a weak stomach you might want to skip those parts. Notice I didn’t tell you not to read the book. Those scenes are essential to figuring out why Stevie is the way he is. I read it in one sitting because I couldn’t pull away from this compelling story. π
The other one is Willow Bend, available at Samhain Publishing. Again..more hot man love and emotions that will tug at your heart. Ally manages to bring you into the story and not let you go, no matter how much you don’t want to go where she’s leading you.
The thing about these books is that the stories are universal in many ways. They can be about any two people..not just two men. (though the fact that they are shouldn’t turn anyone off..imo)
So if you’re looking for a good book or two that will make you tear up, but feel good at the end..I recommend both of these books by Ally Blue.
Have a great day, everyone.

lol…S.W…I’ve only actually finished two books so far and both of them have been accepted. One with Loose-Id and the other with Liquid Silver. I’ve been lucky so far.
I’m sure thre’s a rejection letter out there for me somewhere, but so far, I haven’t ventured out in search of it. π
Let’s go for a big ol’ record. 23’s a good number. π
Just wanted to say: T.A., you haven’t gotten any rejections?! Not that I’m surprised or anything; your writing is phenomenal. But — wow. I’m jealous!
lol..posted just in front of me, Jenna. The funny thing is I was just thinking I might get 20 posts today and that’ll be the most I’ve had since I started my blog. So thanks. π
you ladies are good for my ego, Jenna. π
Eye candy is less fattening than gravy. lol
I got nothing to say…I just want to be your 20th post for the day.
S.W…wow. Haven’t even read an actual book and you’re already spoiled. π
Easy made me cringe and made me cheer, S.W. So I hope you pick it up.
Well, I plan on getting ahead here and getting a couple of scenes written for The Ball over the weekend. That way you’re guaranteed several installments w/o me panicking about not having them done. π Also, maybe next week, I’ll have a pic of either Greyson or our hero.
The eye candy is just my gravy, baby. The true attraction is you.
I’m with them. T.A., you spoiled me for dark romance from anyone else and I haven’t even gotten my hands on a book yet… π
But the excerpt from Easy was fantastic. (though it wasn’t The Ball π I just might pick that up. Thanks for the recommendations!
No I hadn’t heard that about you, Kate. It’s good to know.
Quickies are great, aren’t they? π
Honey, haven’t you heard? I like quickies. π lol.
lol…I had some ‘me’ time and decided that I wasn’t in the right mood to write. These two books were on my list of books to buy, so I got them and then spent the rest of the night reading them.
But it was a brief relaxation period.
I’m still getting over the fact that you had time to read, let alone two books!
Sherrill,
Thanks and I looked a long time for the right quote to put up. When I read this one, it hit home because we are all influenced by what we read as well as who we know. π
Good thing, I know some great people and read their awesome books.
Sloane,
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you come back again. π
Enjoy Ally’s books. They are emotionally satisfying reads..imo.
Broadening horizons is what we as writers and human beings should strive for. Unfortunately.as your post at your blog pointed out..some people will never be able to see beyond their very narrow view of the world. Thank goodness neither one of us are like them.
Great to hear from you, Sloane.
What Jenna and Kate said. π
I like the quote you left, too. It’s so true.
Kate dear,
You’re going to spoil me and give me a big head. π I hope you truly enjoy my books when they come out. Since all you’ve been getting are little quickies and sneak peeks.
Ah..I see. It’s all the bribes I give you. Actually though I’m happy to share my men with you, Jenna. I know you’ll appreciate them.
Hi T.A.,
This is my first itme on your site and I am impressed.
Ally Blue’s excerpts have me running for my credit card.
Thanks for the reviews and insights. You’re broadening my horizons.
Thanks for the recommends, T.A. I’ll be sure to check them out.
But, I’m with Jenna, no one can touch our T.A. Hugs to you today, honey.
Hee-hee. I saw prejudiced and went “Oh no. No, no, no.”
And I’m not biased ‘tall. Nope. Not even with my anticipation for tomorrow’s post. Not biased.
Not me.
Nope.
sxybrcsd: Sexy, braced…fantabulous.
Well that’s the word. I knew there was a better word than prejudiced…lol. Thanks. I need to dig out my thesaurus. π
I obviously need to go back and get some more sleep.
Thanks for posting the right word, Jenna.
No…biased, babe. Biased. π
*blushing* well thanks, Jenna. π But I think you might be slightly prejudiced.
Read the excerpts. Sound good but she’s no T.A. Chase!
