Pimping Books

Today, I’m pimping banned books. 🙂 Like the Bible and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. For a list of banned books, stop by here and check them out. It says it’s a complete list but I can’t swear it is.

This week has been Banned Book Week. I admit I haven’t read most of the books on the list, but that’s simply because they don’t interest me that much. lol. Not because I find them offensive or full of lies.

The way I see it, any book should be available to anyone to read if they want too. If they think the topic or words in the book are offensive or subversive, than they can simply chose not to read them, but not take away anyone else’s right to read it. It’s purely a First Amendment right to freedom of speech. (imo)

I know there are people out there who think my books are terrible and promote perversions. That’s fine. They’re entitled to their opinions, the same as I am. I’ll keep writing them because of all the people out there who enjoy my stories and the men I create. 🙂

Hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

You mean to tell me that the book of LIES is banned????? OMFG!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
    Gotta Love IT!!!

Perverse books are the best sort.

But I doubt any list would cover all books banned at some point by someone 😉

James and the Giant Peach banned? WTF? I have to agree – if you don’t like it – fine, but don’t take away MY right to read it! Funny how times change and what was banned, becomes a classic.

Have a great weekend (well what’s left of it!)

Absolutely unbelievable! I can’t get over the books they’ve put on the list, some of those I read as a kid in school, hell we read the Scarlet Letter in lit in high school. A lot of those are classics! You’re absolutely right TA, if they don’t like, then they should just choose not to read it!(getting off soap box-LOL!)

On a lighter note…Have a great weekend everyone!

The scary thing is that I have read 57 of them fully and another 6-8 partially. WOW- I am WAY out of control-lol.
Maybe that’s why I love your stuff-I’ve been perverted by *gasp* Canterbury Tales and The Prince!!!!
Give me a break-there are enough problems in the world for this to be an issue. These people need to get a life!
Obviously they haven’t read what passes for Young Adult lit these days!
Keep doing your thang babes- there are plenty of us who love you and it.
