My new laptop

Yes, finally, we picked up my new laptop. A Sony Vaio. πŸ™‚ It’s awesome. Bright, pretty screen. Can’t wait to watch movies on it…lol. I just used it to write on last night. The new Microsoft Word 2007 is actually cool so far. It has the word count at the bottom of the screen, so I don’t have all these different steps to take to find out how many words I’ve written.
It’s got Vista on it, but don’t ask me if it’s easier to use or anything like that…as long as it doesn’t confuse me or make me jump through hoops to get it to work..I’m happy with it. lol. Slightly technically challanged which is why I found and stayed with C. He’s my geek/hero.
I got another 2k done on Two for One (the short story I need to finish in the next week or so). At 18k, I need another 3-7k to make me happy. Hopefully, it can do that. Also, I got some more added to Firebird. I’m thinking maybe another 5 installments for the blog and then I’ll be wrapping up the extra stuff to send to one of my publishers.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great Wednesday. I know I will, playing with my laptop. πŸ™‚

since getting my new laptop I haven’t even cleared a space for it on my desk, at night it sleeps on the bed with me.

Great minds think alike, huh? Or laptops must be on everyone’s thoughts today. lol

Thanks for the rave. I’m sorry you stayed up too late reading it, but I’m thrilled that you liked it so much. Tony’s story will be next. (As soon as I get two other stories done)

I’m planning on taking my laptop to bed with me as well…lol. C won’t mind since he’s such a geek anyway.

Actually I like the Touchpad for now, but I’ll probably end up using the mouse from my desktop pc when I’m at home. It’s easier in a way.

That’s funny – my blog entry today is about MY new laptop. Oh and a rave about “No Going Home.”
That was just a wonderful, wonderful story. Still sighing and smiling over it. Stayed up way too late to finish it cuz i just couldn’t put it down.

Ciao TA. Your laptop is very similar to mine, but mine is a ThinkPad. I can’t use the TouchPad. And now that I have a PC card to connect I take it also in bed with me… if I will ever have the necessity to share my bed with someone, we will in three: I, him, and my laptop…
