Merry Christmas Eve…

So here we are…another Christmas Eve. Wow…this year has gone by so fast. 🙂 I hope everyone has a great day and night.

I said that I’d be giving you two new blurbs to pick from…not just today, but I’ll let everyone comment until next Monday when I’ll figure out which one is the most popular and start working on it.

Blurb #1: (paranormal, shifter)

Bastet-

Kellan Largent is a grad student at Harvard. His thesis is on ancient Egyptian religious cults. While immersed in his research, he comes across an obscure reference to the Earth Warrior cult. Little does he know that one sentence in a dusty tattered book will engulf him in a battle between good and evil. A battle that could be the end of the world as he knows it.

The stray cat wandering the streets around Kellan’s house is more than an abandoned feline. Bastet has roamed the earth from the days when Egypt was young. He’s watched the Pharaohs rise and fall. New gods come and go. His purpose has remained the same: Protect the earth at all costs and keep the secrets of the Earth Warriors from regular mortals. He’s sent to keep Kellan Largent from finding out the truth about the cult, but also to keep the unsuspecting college student alive.

One man will do anything for the spell that created the Warriors. He wants immortality and killing Kellan for the secret is just the beginning of the trouble he’ll cause to get what he wants.

Blurb #2 (historical, western)

Bitter Creek’s Redemption-

Bitter Creek is a town on the brink of war.

Lines are being drawn and sides taken as two powerful men gather armies of gunfighters. The townspeople are helpless and the law worthless. One man has already died in the opening salvo of this land war. An air of fearful anticipation hangs over the town.

Eagle, the half-breed who works at the livery stable, manages to survive by not taking sides until one day, a stranger rides into town. Eagle’s life changes and he finds that he can no longer hide with his horses, if he wishes to be the man he claims to be.

A stranger comes to town and all hell breaks lose.

Hope you find something you like in either of these two blurbs. 🙂 Have a great and safe day.

They both sound intriguing, but I vote for the Western since we have had two shifter stories in a row. Am keeping fingers and toes crossed that whoever you send Nick of Time to signs it up and soon!

As it stands, BCR is edging Bastet out by one vote.

But like I said, you can vote up until Monday, and I’ll make my decision then.

I just finished rereading Bound by Love so I have my cowboy fix for now and with the 3rd Home book coming, I’m good. But I’m kind of havent gotten my full serving of paranormal with Nick of Time put on hold until the whole book comes out, so I vote for Bastet first and Bitter Creek 2nd.

Happy Holidays to one and all. My vote is Bastet please.

  16. Rush says:

They both sound so YUMMYLICIOUS!! But, I’ll go for the western just like most everyone here… Sounds very intriguing indeed!

  17. Courtney says:

My vote is for Bastet. I’m reading Bound by Love (and it’s sooo good, TA), so I’m getting my cowboy fix. I’m also mad for paranormals and I’m not sure I’ve ever read a manlove story that involved Egyptian mythology, so I’m fascinated.

Allergies and Nick of Time were so good! I hope the next phase of the story involves Pavel and Jess. Those two sizzled.

  18. melanie says:

Well this one is tough as both sound wonderful. Bastet sounds fascinating but I do love me some cowboys and want to read more about Eagle, so how about Bitter Creek first and then Bastet.

Merry Christmas to all and happy holidays.

  19. Anonymous says:

    I vote for Bitter Creek.

  20. Danni says:

I’ll put my vote towards Bastet. I love the name Kellan as it’s the name of the actor who plays Emmett in Twilight! Big plus for me TA!! He’d make one sexy grad student! LOL!

  21. Anonymous says:

I’m in the mood for cowboys. So, the second please.

    Merry Christmas!

    Iris

  22. L C says:

I say blend them together, why not add a litle ancient Egyptian into the wild west. Give us some hot sweaty man love culture shock *WG*

  23. Sioux says:

I want Bastet first, then the cowboys. Even though you haven’t done historical westerns, we just got a cowboy fix with Bound by Love and we have another coming with HHH. So I want Egypt first, then more cowboys. Besides, maybe we’ll get a sexy cat shifter…

  24. lyne says:

Add another vote for the western. everyone have a good holiday and be safe. lyne

  25. Carol H. says:

My vote is for Bitter Creek. Though they both sound up to your usual great work.
    Merry Christmas !

  26. Tam says:

I vote for ancient Egypt and world destruction. 🙂 With some hotness thrown in for good measure of course.

  27. Firecat says:

    Wow! Hard choice!

On the one hand, I love Egyptian folklore. On the other hand, I have a thing for Indians.

I have to say I’d like to see Bastet first, then BCR.

Merry Christmas TA! Hope Santa brings everything on your list. 😉

  28. Anonymous says:

I also love a good cowboy story so
    I vote for BCR.

Merry Xmas to you and C.

  29. Anonymous says:

My vote is for Bitter Creek. Though they both sound good.

  30. Gina, Book Dragon says:

I love a good cowboy story but I vote for Bastet then Bitter Creek 🙂

I hope everyone has a safe holiday, I’m in SoCal so it will be wet for me!

  31. Sabrina says:

Cowboys please then ancient Egyptians…hope you have a merry Christmas with the ones you love!

  32. Jazz says:

I’ll go with BCR, as I haven’t read a good cowboy story in a while. Have a safe, warm, loving and merry Christmas TA,(it’ll be cold and wet here in Calif)…happy holidays to all of you out there…

  33. Blaidd-Drwg says:

Uhhhhh…. Both of them look really good

    *reads again*

    Well… Shifters vs. Cowboys.

    *reads again*

Hmmm I do have a thing for cowboys.

    Darn. This is hard.

Well when you look at it logically, you did have two prior blog stories on shifters. While both really good, cowboys are very hot erh good to read about too.

    Cowboys? *blink blink*

But then I wouldn’t mind the other one either. Hehehe. Not helping am I?

Have a great holiday season (might have said so already). I’m going back downstairs before everyone eats the cake!

  34. Melissa Bradley says:

I’m with Molli it is too difficult to choose. However, I love your cowboys so I think I’ll go with BCR.

Merry Christmas!! I wish you and C a wonderful, joyous, and peace-filled holiday. Thank you for your beautiful stories and your great blog.

Merry Christmas to all my fellow TA fans. You guys rock!

  35. Yvonne says:

    Good Morning from Germany!

You haven’t done a western, so that would be different. But only if one of the guys has loooong hair. Just think of that hair brushing against thighs…oops, a little drowl action happened. lol

Either would be good TA-I guess it depends on which set of guys are talking to you the most.

Merry Christmas. Keep warm and safe

    Yvonne

  36. Jambrea says:

I agree with Molli! You are an evil, evil wonderful person! This one is hard for me, but because you have done two shifters in a row I’m going to pick the western. I would love to see the old west TA style. 🙂

  37. molli says:

Oh…you evil evil wonderful person! Can we have BOTH? You really expect me to pick one? They both sound good. Ok…the shifter one first, THEN the cowboy! *nods*
    hugs and happy Holidays
    molli
