Have beer..boxers..and tattoos..

What do you think? Sounds like a good way to relax to me. πŸ˜‰

The weekend was good. Got a new toy and did some writing. I got the next two installments of The Ball done…so I’m ahead on that one. The race on Saturday gave me an idea for a story set in the racing world, but it would be during the 1930s or 40s..not contemporary. It’s still stewing in my mind..haven’t gotten anything written down for it. Probably should do that before I forget what I want to do.

I listened to The All-American Rejects on my way into work this morning. “Dirty Little Secret” is a great song. Love the video as well. The lead singer is cute too. lol

Well, have to get some work done. πŸ™

Have a great day, everyone.

The Nickelback song was JUST FOR because Kael (one of the heroes in Here Be Dragons) was abused by his former lover and I thought the song fit Hugh’s thoughts about that. πŸ™‚

Photograph is a great song. I really like MOSH by Eminem.

With my first two books, S.W. I used Blackmore’s Night, Rob Thomas, Chris LeDoux and Nickelback. Usually it’s at least two songs..so I’m working on finding another one that will work with The Ball.

I got a nice pic to go with the next installment. πŸ™‚

Every time I visit your blog, I like you more. πŸ™‚ Great to see I’m not the only one who identifies particular songs with particular books. Looks like there’s a lot of folks here who do that! My choice for my previous novel was the main theme from Last of the Mohicans. Haven’t settled on one for the current WIP yet.

Good luck with the new book idea and I’ll be waiting for tomorrow and more Ball πŸ™‚

did you get DLS downloaded, Jenna? That’s the first AAR song I heard, but I’ve found that I’m really enjoying the entire cd. Might have to go in search of more from them.

Marc Cohn’s version of “I Hope I Don’t Fall in Love with You”…

“Well I hope that I don’t fall in love with you
‘Cause falling in love just makes me blue,
Well the music plays and you display
your heart for me to see,
I had a beer and now I hear
    you calling out for me
And I hope that I don’t fall in love with you.”

  15. Jenna Howard says:

  17. T.A.Chase says:

Cool. It would be the perfect song for an erotica novel wouldn’t it? do you listen to it while you write?

I pick out theme songs for each of my stories. I just found one for The Ball. πŸ™‚
