Thank god it’s Wednesday. Only two more days until the weekend. Can you tell I’ve been having a great week so far?

I have nothing earth shattering or mentally stimulating to talk about today. I’ve been doing some writing on a story based in New Orleans. Love that city and I’m sure it’ll be back-not to its former glory-but far better and safer than it was.
Oh, I’ve been assigned an editor at Liquid Silver. So I have my first set of edits to look forward to. Yay! I’m hoping that my gay cowboy and his lover will be available for everyone to read by the end of June or maybe July. I’ll keep y’all posted on that.

I think my thoughts are more along the lines…what if I screwed something up..like started a story thread and then forgot to tie it up somewhere else in the story..lol. Oh well. That’s what she gets paid to correct, right?

You’re not a snob. It’s great that we all have different tastes. How boring would the world be if we all liked the same things?
My editor said she’d get my first set of edits back to me this week..so we’ll see. I’m not overly worried because I try to do as much self-editing as possible before I even send it out.

Oh yes…editing. I was so completely freaked out when I got an editor. What if they hate it? What if I’ve got to rewrite the whole blasted story.
Didn’t happen, of course, and all the changes made the story that much better.
Honey, with your writing you have nothing to worry about. A tweak here, a polish there…Masterpiece!!!!
As for the pic? First thought? Black satin…will that stain?

Remember that the publisher loved your book they way you wrote it. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have made an offer on it. The editing is just to tweak and polish, and yes, it does make a writer feel like they’ve “arrived.”
Sorry you’re having a rough week. Hope it gets better, now we’re halfway through. As for Mr. Unclothed…I’m not sure. His body is lickable, but his facial features aren’t, you know, arisocratic enough for my taste. (I know, I’m a snob! SNOB! I can’t help it!)
