Archive for Preternaturals

Another week….another word count. 🙂 Busy writing this week. I’m in the homestretch of Famine, then I have a very short story to write for Valentine’s Day. After that, comes Death. 🙂 When Death is done, the Four Horsemen series will be finished, and I’ll be starting a new series for Total e-Bound called the Beasor Chronicles. I’m hoping also to have enough free time to write Rover’s story.
We’ll see how much I can get done by the end of the year. lol
I hope you all have a great Monday. I’ve become the owner of a rabbit, so I have to find a vet who will check it out for me. Yay!

Good morning, everyone. 🙂 It’s a gray and gloomy day outside, so I plan on staying in and writing most of the day. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get really close to the end of Famine. 🙂 Also I have to get the third installment of the blog story done as well.
To find the first installment of They Walk Among Us, go to the sidebar and scroll down. There’s a link to it on the side.
I plan on writing Rover’s story in the next couple of months, and hoping it will be done by the end of the year. Woot!
I hope you all have a great Thursday….and the next installment will be up tomorrow.

Love’s Baggage, Bandit’s story and the third book in the Preternatural series, is available at Amber Allure now. Actually it came out yesterday, but I was still down in New Orleans, so I couldn’t post about it. 🙂 It’s also part of a PAX, so it’s discounted that way, I believe. Hope you get to check it out.
I had a lot of fun at GRL, and met so many awesome people (readers and authors alike). I can’t wait for next year’s retreat…lol. Of course, I have to recover from this one first. I did get some writing done, but I’m hoping to do the big final push this week to get Famine finished. But it’s nice to be home as well.
Here’s the blurb for Love’s Baggage. I hope you enjoy Bandit’s story.
Things have gotten pretty exciting in Bandit Canis’s world. Non-Preters trying to kill any lycan or Preternatural they can find, and his youngest brother falling in love with a human. Plus finding out there’s a spell in a book that could destroy every Preternatural in the world. Yeah, “exciting” is a pale word for what Bandit’s life has become. Yet instead of searching for the book, Bandit finds himself escorting twin lycans back to their home pack. While he’s not happy about it, at least he gets to spend time with Allen Dow.
Allen is reluctant to return to his home pack to regain control, especially after being sold to a human freak show years ago by his Alpha. He has no choice, though, once he learns how far the pack had fallen in his absence. The only good thing about the entire trip is spending time with Bandit.
As their mission turns deadly, Bandit and Allen cling to each other, their love growing stronger as they both leave the baggage of the past behind them. While their future is unclear in the dangerous world in which they live, they also come to realize that, together, they may be able to weather whatever happens next…
NOTE: This story is part of The Preternaturals series..

The week is over, and the weekend will be beginning in eight hours…give or take an hour or two…lol.
I’m over the hump, and am on the downward slide of Famine. I only have about 18k or so to finish up. After that, it’ll be Death, and after that, depending on when I get Death finish, I’m hoping to get to Trailing Air, Rover’s story in the Preternatural series.
If I don’t have time to do Rover’s story, I’ll be starting a new series for Total e-Bound about an alternative universe called The Beasor Chronicles. I already have release dates for the three books in that series. They will also be long enough to be out in print on their own. Woot! The three books in The Beasor Chronicles are the ones I’ve always referred to Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves…lol. My homage to Cher, though they don’t have any thing to with gypsies as we know them. 🙂
Well, I better get to writing. Have a full schedule, trying to get the last two Horsemen books done by November. 🙂
Have a great weekend.

Here’s the cover for my Oct. 16th release, Love’s Baggage. It’s the third book in the Preternatural series, and is Bandit’s story. This one won’t answer many of the questions, but it does help give kind of a reason why Grime is looking to destroy all the Preternaturals.
I thought I’d share the blurb (or at least the unedited version of the blurb. I’m sure it’ll be different when it’s up on Amber Allure’s site.)
Things have gotten pretty exciting in Bandit Canis’s world. Non-Preters trying to kill any lycan or Preternatural they could find, and his youngest brother falling in love with a human. Plus finding out there’s a spell in a book that could destroy every Preternatural in the world. Yeah, exciting is a very pale word for what Bandit’s life has become. Yet instead of searching for the book, Bandit finds himself escorting twin lycans back to their home pack. While he’s not happy about it, at least he gets to spend time with Allen Dow.
Allen Dow is reluctant to return to his home pack, after being sold to a human freak show years ago by his Alpha. He has no choice though. He’s informed about how far the pack had fallen since he went away. The only good thing about the entire trip is spending time with Bandit.
As their mission turns deadly, Bandit and Allen cling to each other, their love growing stronger as they both leave the baggage of the past behind them. Yet their future is unclear in the dangerous world they live in, but together they will weather whatever happens next.
I hope you enjoy it. I know people have been wanting more stories in the series. Rover’s story was supposed to be next, but Bandit talked to me first…lol. He’s a pushy wolf.
Well, have a good Friday and a great weekend.

Woot! I’m in the home stretch of War, and I’ve actually started Love’s Baggage. In case I haven’t told you, Love’s Baggage is the third book in the Preternatural series. It’s Bandit and Allen’s story. Bandit has to take Allen and Roman back to their home pack. We’ll learn more about Grime (the bad guy) and what he’s planning. But the problem won’t be solved. Rover’s story, Trailing Air, will solve the problem and get the book back. 🙂 Hopefully. lol Then I plan on writing Jess/Pavel’s story.
LB will be out in Oct. If all my plans work out, TA should be out in Jan. Don’t have any definite dates yet.
I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

Ugh! Is it Friday yet? Not that it really matters, but for some reason, this week is going by so slowly. 🙂 Maybe if I just stare at this picture long enough, I’ll forget all the other junk…lol.
Woo-hoo!
Wishing for a Home has hit the Coming Soon section at Liquid Silver. I posted the blurb there if you’d like to refresh your memory about Derek and Max. 🙂 I can’t wait to see what the cover looks like for this one.
I did a little writing on
Trailing Air, the next
Preternaturals book, and
Defensive End, the next
Love of Sports book, yesterday. Along with one or two other stories I’ve been working on as well. As much as I know I need to focus on one book and finish it, my mind isn’t letting me. So I’m rolling with the punches and taking whatever characters want to talk to me at the time I’m able to write. We’ll see which one gets done first…lol.
I guess I should start my work day. Yay! Take care and have a great Wednesday.
