Archive for Eye Candy
Sick and tired….

I tried to think of something to post today for the Poetry Train, but I’ve been sick all weekend and my brain isn’t function right. 🙂 So I thought I’d post a little eye candy and tell you to stop by Rhian’s blog to see what stops there are on the train today.
I’m going back to bed and hoping I start to feel better. Have a great day.
Wednesday WiPs…
Second, I’m starting to work on edits of Out of Bounds, a contemporary that will be coming out in April next year at Samhain. I’ll give you a quick sneak peek at it on Friday. Woo-hoo!
So on to the WiPs I have going (or at least the four main ones…lol):
Home of his Own: 38,753/50,000 (232 words)
Dreaming of Dragons: 652/50,000 (0 words)
Devil’s Addiction: 30,436/50,000 (263 words)
Where the Devil Dances: 9,079/50,000 (1,921 words)
That gives me 2,416 words for the week. Bit slow, but I did do edits on Understanding Forgiveness as well. (which can be found at Aspen Mountain Press..release date Oct. 19th)
I wrote 33, 804 words during the month of September and added to my running total gives me 281, 613 words for the year so far. I slowed down a little as the end of the month got closer.
Well, I hope you all have a great Wednesday.
Blogging at SEx….

Hey everyone…stop by over at SEx to see the unedited and new excerpt I posted from Tony’s story. 🙂
Enjoy the wet eye candy and hope you have a great day.
Wednesday’s WiPs

Well another week almost over with. And another month close to being done. Yikes! Why is it flying so fast? I don’t think I’m having that much fun. 🙂
I thought I’d give you an idea of how many stories I actually have going at one time. There are four that I’ll be working on more than the others. Those four will be in dark red. The other four are ones I work on when I hit a wall or snag in the other four. Those will be in blue. 😉
Here you go:
Home of his Own: 38,521/50,000 (2 words)
Devil’s Addiction: 30,173/50,000 (332 words)
Where the Devil Dances: 7,158/50,000 (1,302 words)
Dreaming of Dragons: 652/50,000 (652 words)
Which gives me a total of 2,288 words for the week. Not bad. Have to do more work on Tony’s story and DA, but all in all, pretty decent total for me.
Here are the other four:
The Scarab Beetle: 8,358/50,000
Kouchou: 2,710/35,000
To Hell with the Devil: 5,304/45,000
High Line: 8,471/50,000
Like I said, the last four are ones I work on when I hit a snag on the first four or when I’m somewhere without computer access, so I write in my journal. But they also are ones I’ve just started which is why the word counts on rather low on them. 🙂
Hope you have a great day.
Wednesday WiPs
Wow…September is half over. Where did it go? Ugh! Haven’t accomplished nearly everything I wanted to get done. Too many irons in the fire, I guess. Might need to scale some things down, so I can get at least one story done this month…lol
Here’s the word count:
Home of His Own: 38,519/50,000 (2,289 words)
Devil’s Addiction: 29,841/50,000 (0 words)
Where the Devil Dances: 5,856/ 50,000 (2,451 words)
Giving me a total of 4,704 for the week. Though I did type in what I’d written out of The Scarab Beetle (paranormal story about step-brothers) and that netted me 8k or so of words, but it doesn’t get included with the three main stories. I do keep a total of all the words I write during a week (Mon-Sun) and then add them all up for a monthly total. Yeah, I’m weird that way. I guess I like to see that I’m actually doing something and getting stories written. 🙂
We’ll see what I’ll be working on in the next day or so…lol Have a great day.
Poetry Train…

Don’t forget to stop by Rhian’s blog to see who else hopped on the train today.
You’ve probably read excerpts from the story on Mondays before. It started as a series of Flash Fiction shorts at the SEx blog. I turned it into a story about Archelaus, the new master of Hell and Azrael, the angel of death. It’s not finished yet, but it’s different from what I’ve written. Arch is extremely sarcastic, so there’s a lot of smart ass humor in it. I haven’t written much about Azrael, so his personality isn’t as strong to me. Also, it’ll be done in the same vein as Angel’s Evolution. First person point of view and present tense. 🙂 I thought I’d give you an taste of the story.
Here you go: (hot mansex involved in excerpt…don’t read if that bothers you or you’re at work.)
I stare at the boy, thinking the kid would grow up to be fucking gorgeous. Go me for letting him live. The screaming is beginning to give me a headache though, so I give the kid a push out of the accident, making sure he falls safely to the grass out of the way.
“Why do that?”
I look up to see Azrael standing next to the mangled Dodge Charger. While he stares at me, he reaches out to touch an older man. The man jerks and the light fades from his eyes.
“Why do what?” I turn, appreciating the chaos and death all around me.
“Why save him?” He points his chin at the kid.
“Why not?” I sit my ass on the Charger’s trunk, swinging my legs as the ambulance sirens get close to us.
“It doesn’t really fit your image.” He touches a hand hanging out of a broken window.
“Saving a kid?” I shrug. “I’m not interested in dragging his squalling ass down to hell with me.”
“You rule hell. Aren’t you supposed to cause mayhem, fear and death wherever you go?” The angel moves towards a lump of metal that used to be a Honda Civic.
“No matter what you think, I didn’t cause this freaking accident. Heavens, I have better things to do with my time than run around causing humans to lose control of their cars while talking on their cell phones and trying to eat a cheeseburger.”
His raised eyebrow and skeptical look makes me shrug.
“Okay, so I might have had something to do with it.” I look up towards the start of the accident scene where a semi-truck lay on its side. “The truck driver was just so cute and I could read all those nasty thoughts he was having about forcing the hitch-hiker he picked up to give him a blow-job. I figured I’d give him one while he was driving. Not my fault he can’t come and drive at the same time.”
Azrael shakes his head and sighs. “But all these other people? Why cause their deaths and injuries?”
I’m tired of him questioning me. I’m the ruler of hell and earth. It’s my right to do whatever I want with these stupid mortals. No one, not even an angel, has the right to question me.
Jumping down from the car, I stalk towards him, anger swirling inside me. The bright blue sky darkens and the wind picks up, blowing the acidic smell of gasoline and fire around us. I poke his chest, piercing his pale skin with my claw. He hisses as pain and pleasure mixes in his eyes. I lean forward, baring my fangs in a snarl.
“I’ll tell you why I didn’t kill that boy. I don’t take innocent souls into hell with me, Azrael. There are dark and evil souls lined up to enter my realm when they die. Souls who have made the conscious choice to hurt others.” I press my claw in until I can feel his beating heart. “See, I feel no remorse in killing the trucker who would have raped his passenger.”
With my other hand, I gesture to the old man he’d touched minutes earlier. “I don’t have a problem causing the death of a bitter old man who threw his daughter out of his house because she got pregnant by a black man. A bitter old man who always bragged about his charitable heart.”
“There are innocents in this wreckage, Archelaus.” His words are faint.
My anger fills the air around us with heat and oppressive smoke. I can tell his lungs burn with the effort of breathing. I glare at him.
“I don’t care about the innocents. Let your brethren take them. It matters not to me who they were or what they’ve done in their lives. Heaven’s gates open wide for them, but for those like us, there is no sanctuary. No haven to ease our pain and wickedness.”
I grasp his shoulder and bear down, forcing him to his knees. I remove my finger from his chest. I paint his lips with his own blood before I free my cock from its denim prison. Wiping the rest of the red liquid on my prick, I place the bulbous head at his mouth.
“Suck me.”
My command cuts through the control he struggles with. I know he fights the craving for what I can give him. Tilting my hips, I pressed my prick against his bottom lip.
“Suck me.” I flash my fangs at him and he shivers.
Azrael’s mouth opens and sucks me in. My head falls forward, resting my chin on my chest as I stare down into his blue eyes. His tongue swirls around my shaft and searches out every atom of the blood. I bury my fingers in his auburn curls to hold his head still while I start to fuck his mouth. His cheeks hollow as he applies more suction. He presses the flat of his tongue to the throbbing vein on the underside of my cock and I snarl. I feel the scrape of his teeth on my sensitive tip.
The wail of the sirens buzz in my ears. I snap my hips harder and faster. Humming, he reaches up to grip my hips. I tug on his hair, bringing his gaze up to me and I shake my head.
“No touching for you.”
Lust blazes in his eyes and his eyelids droop, blocking his stare from me. I tug on his hair, harder this time. His eyes bright with anger, he glares at me.
“I want to see your eyes.”
I see his consent in the slight quirk of his lips. Azrael starts rocking in time with my thrusts. I take a quick peek down at his groin and see his hand wrapped around his cock. He’s jerking off while I take his mouth.
My balls tingle and draw tight to my body. “Soon, my angel.”
He winks, sucks me down to the base and when the head of my cock hits the back of his throat, he swallows.
“Fuck. Now.” I flood his mouth with cum.
He drinks it down without protest and a soft moan works its way out as he shoots his spunk all over the ground.
“Hey you two.”
The shout shocks me out of my post-climax bliss. Jerking Azrael to his feet, I stuff my limp cock back into my pants as I turn. A cop stalks towards us.
“Shit. The cops. We gotta get out of here.”
I fasten my hand around the angel’s wrist and disappear, waving at the stunned policeman as we fade out of sight.
Wednesday WiPs…

I did accomplish some other writing tasks though. Wrote up and sent out proposals for three books. As soon as I hear anything about them, I’ll let you all know. You will all be happy to know one of the proposals was for Dreaming of Dragons, the second book in my Dragon series and yes, a majority of the story will be about Mordred and George. Though Kael and Hugh will play roles in the story as well. 🙂 The other two proposals are for paranormals. I’ll tell you about them later…lol. Depending on what I hear back.
So for this week’s update:
Home of his Own: 36,230/50,000 (1,960 words)
Devil’s Addiction: 29,841/50,000 (126 words)
Where the Devil Dances: 3,441/50,000 (1,987 words)
That gives me 4,033 words written over the week, but I have to admit I’ve been doing a lot of writing on several other stories that I don’t list here. If I listed every story I work on over the course of a week, there would be about ten or twelve up there. At times, I have a serious case of Attention-Defecit Disorder when it comes to my stories. So, when I say I’ve only gotten 4000 words written, add another 4k or 5k to that spread out over all the stories. 🙂 It’s just these are the three that I’m really focusing in and trying to finish sooner rather than later.
I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
Wednesday WiPs….

Wentworth Miller is so very yummy. Though I’ve never watched his show…lol.
On to the writing updates. It’s been an all right week for me. Didn’t get a ton done like I had wanted to, but still progress was made. I heard back from one of my cps and worked on The Vanguard to polish it up, incorporating her suggestions and comments. Hoping to hear back from the other two by the end of the week, so I can get it done and submitted by next week. 🙂
Home of His Own: 34,270/50,000 (1,171 words)
Devil’s Addiction (formerly The Gypsy Devil): 29,715/50,000 (2,175 words)
Where the Devil Dances: 1,454/50,000 (1,379 words)
This gives me 4,725 words for the week, but that doesn’t include the nightingale story I started on Sunday or the brother’s story from Out of Bounds (which I’m hoping to have news on soon.)
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday. 🙂
Wednesday WiPs…

Wednesday already? Wow. I have to admit this week is flying by. I’ve accomplished one thing so far and that’s to finish Vanguard. 🙂
So I managed to write a little on Tony’s story, but ended up just watching tv last night. Gave myself a little break. Don’t worry. I planning to dive head first into that story and get it done as soon as possible. I really want to get it out for everyone.
Here are my word counts for the past week:
The Vanguard: 70,830/55,000 (5,566 words in the week)
Home of his Own: 33,099/50,000 (591 words in the week)
The Gypsy Devil: 27,540/50,000 (0 words in the week)
Where the Devil Dances: 166/50,000 (166 words in the week)
So that gives me a total of 6,323 words since last Wednesday. Not a great number, but it works. 🙂 Tony’s story moves to the top of the list and gets most of my attention. WtDD’s count will go up as I get deeper in the story. TGD will end up being something I work on when I’m just not in the mood for either of the other two. I haven’t given myself a deadline for that one yet.
I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
Poetry Train..

Here’s a poem for you all. Stop by Rhian’s blog to see where else you can go to check out great stories, poems, songs or whatever everyone has decided to post for the Train ride today. 🙂
Darkness over takes him
He hears a mournful sigh
He looks but sees no one
He didn’t know angels cried
Sunlight finds him hidden
Flush with life again
Twilight enfolds the city
His hunt begins
He feels his anguish
He feels his pain
He tastes his flesh
Only joy to gain
Darkness over takes him
He hears a mournful sigh
He looks but sees no one
He didn’t know angels cried
Centuries have passed
Still he lives
Hiding from light
Taking what the darkness gives
Remorse had taken hold
In the emptiness of his soul
He longs for death
He longs to be made whole
Darkness over takes him
He hears a mournful sigh
He looks but sees no one
He didn’t know angels cried
His ice flesh is now ash
His soul once more free
He stands at a fork in the path
What will his choice be?
Hope everyone enjoys. Have a great Monday. 🙂
