Happy Hunk Day

Here’s some more yumminess…lol

Sorry….

I really hoped to have the next two installments of They Walk Among Us written and ready to post, but I had so much to do to get ready to leave tomorrow, I didn’t get them finished.

I promise they will be up next Tuesday. The rest of this week will be some nice eye candy though. πŸ™‚

Have a great Tuesday….and I’ll be seeing some of you in New Orleans for GayRomLit.

One More Day

Today, I have to pack for NOLA and ship my promo stuff out. Yay! It’s going to be a crazy day. I just got back from Chicago last night at about 10:30, and went straight to bed. Ugh! I’m going to be so glad to hit NOLA, I might need a nap in the afternoon tomorrow.

I fly out at 6 in the morning to hit NOLA at 11. Woot! Can’t wait to meet everyone. It’s going to be lots of fun. πŸ™‚

Well, I have to go over final galley edits for Love’s Baggage, which will be out this Sunday. And I saw a draft for the cover of Borderline, which will be out next Tuesday. I hope you all like both stories. πŸ™‚

Have a great Monday everyone.

Finally Friday…

The week is over, and the weekend will be beginning in eight hours…give or take an hour or two…lol.

I’m over the hump, and am on the downward slide of Famine. I only have about 18k or so to finish up. After that, it’ll be Death, and after that, depending on when I get Death finish, I’m hoping to get to Trailing Air, Rover’s story in the Preternatural series.

If I don’t have time to do Rover’s story, I’ll be starting a new series for Total e-Bound about an alternative universe called The Beasor Chronicles. I already have release dates for the three books in that series. They will also be long enough to be out in print on their own. Woot! The three books in The Beasor Chronicles are the ones I’ve always referred to Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves…lol. My homage to Cher, though they don’t have any thing to with gypsies as we know them. πŸ™‚

Well, I better get to writing. Have a full schedule, trying to get the last two Horsemen books done by November. πŸ™‚

Have a great weekend.

The Vote…

There’s something I love about this picture. So mysterious, but beautiful. Hmmm….there might be a story there. Actually, I already have a story started that would fit with this picture. Going to have to make sure I save it to use for inspiration. πŸ™‚

I know there will be more votes coming in, but to be honest, it was a landslide and Jambrea got her way. With 59 votes (so far) to 11, They Walk Among Us has won and been selected as the next blog story. The Temple will be put back in its regularly scheduled spot on my calendar. Yes, it was already scheduled to be written, but not until 2016. I thought I might move it up for the blog. It still might get done sooner rather than later.

So now I have to go in search of pictures for Zach and Raven. It’s a hardship, looking at all the pretty men, but I’m up for the challenge. πŸ˜€

Thank you to everyone who voted. Have a great day…and be sure to stop by tomorrow for the first installment.

New story blurbs…

Sorry these are late. I thought I’d scheduled it to post, but I must have gotten distracted and never came back to finish it…lol.

Okay, so I’m giving you two blurbs for you to chose from. Whichever one has the most votes will be the new blog story. Don’t worry…if you liked both, just vote for the one you liked the most, and the other will get written eventually. πŸ˜€

Blurb #1- The Temple (a fantasy)

Taruis is a young Trapen carpenter who finds himself captured by soldiers of the Shulye empire. Being in the forest for most of his life, he has no idea of wars or rulers. What he does know is being under the tyranny of one empire is the same as living under the rule of the other. He’s uninterested in the plotting of powerful men. He simply wishes to live his life as a carpenter and forester.

Victor is a high-ranking general in the Shulye army. After being seriously injured in battle, Victor finds himself reassigned to an unimportant town while he heals. His older brother, a very influential senator, also leaves him in charge of his Sodo, his young male consort. While Victor enjoys and likes Jules, he finds he needs a lover who can stand beside him, instead of kneel at his feet.

Victor and Taruis meet in the village of Osteram, and fate begins to entwine their lives until they can’t untangle themselves. Rebuilding the village’s temple will either meld their hearts together, or it will drive them beyond the limits of their mind into a darkness willing to consume any who try to stop it.

Blurb #2- They Walk Among Us (a futuristic/alien story )

Zach Harliegh was a baby when the aliens arrived. He doesn’t remember much about those months, except his parents fighting and his dad leaving. His father died, destroying the aliens, and his mother when Zach graduated from medical school. He’s alone in the world, working hard to get his career going leaves no time for any kind of relationship.

One night, a beautiful man is brought into the ER. Raven Sanderson has been severely beaten, and seems unsocialized. Raven and Zach hit it off when Zach takes over his care. Raven can’t speak, but writes notes to Zach, letting him know the man is in the city to find his sister.

Zach agrees to help Raven, and finds himself drawn into a world he never knew existed. A world full of alien creatures that read minds, and heal with a simple touch. He realizes there is more to the world around him, and the aliens he thought were destroyed weren’t. Their off-spring walk among us.

Pick the blurb you like the most and I’ll see about posting the first installment on Thursday. πŸ™‚

Have a great day.

October already….

I thought a picture of a man in a speedo would warm us up on a chilly autumn day. πŸ™‚ I hope you all had a great weekend.

I did a lot of writing. I’m now over halfway done with Famine, and hoping to get it finished before I head to New Orleans next week. Then it’s on to Death. lol Such happy titles, aren’t they? But I guarantee the books have happy endings.

Well, I better go. I’m getting a late start to the day, so I need to start writing soon. Have a good Monday.

End of the week….

Wow…where did the week go? It seemed to rush right by without giving me a chance to think about anything. At least I’ve been writing, so that’s always a good thing. I’m still trying to decide which stories I’m going to pick for you to choose from. I haven’t decided if it is going to be a couple you’ve met before, or two guys you haven’t seen before. So many possibilities…lol.

I hope you all have a great weekend. I plan on writing most of it, even if I have to leave the house to do it.

Hunky Thursday

Sorry about this post being so late. I got it all ready to be posted, and promptly got distracted by other things…lol. Not that I had a lot to say or anything like that. Haven’t had the time to pick out a new blog story. I think I’ll have something for you all to chose from next Tuesday. πŸ™‚ Hopefully either one of them will a story you’d like to read.

Famine is going well. I had a dilemma all last night and this morning about something in the story, but as I was writing this post, I came up with a solution. Yay! Have to go back to the beginning of the story and add a few things, but I think it’ll work out okay.

Got the edits done for Love’s Baggage, which is Bandit’s story. Also, it helps move the entire Preternatural story along, imo. πŸ™‚

Well, I hope you have a thrilling Thursday.

Middle of the Week

As most of you figured out, The Longest Stride has come to an end here on the blog. I’ll be adding some more stuff to it before I do anything with it. I have a couple possibilities for the next story, but I haven’t written up blurbs for them yet. It might not happen until next week. I want to get further along on Famine the rest of this week. Hopefully over halfway through the next Horseman story by Sunday night. πŸ™‚

I’m thinking I might do a sci-fi or fantasy story for the next blog one. I haven’t done one of those in a while. Maybe visit some old friends and see how they’re doing. πŸ˜€ Or I might introduce you to a new couple.

Oh well….we’ll see what I come up with. I might surprise myself and get an idea for an entirely new story.

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.
