Wednesday’s WiPs

So this pic has nothing to do with my post today…lol. I just love it. πŸ™‚ And thought I’d share it with everyone. I believe it can be found at this site, BeautifulMag.com

First thing, Ally Blue has a new book out, Fireflies, from Samhain. I’m pimping it today, even though I haven’t read it yet. Mostly because it’s Ally Blue and I haven’t read one of hers I haven’t liked. And because Anne Cain created the awesome cover for it. πŸ™‚

I’ve decided that Wednesdays are going to be my update days. When I give you actual word counts, so you can see how much I’m getting done on different stories. Some weeks there won’t be any change. Other weeks there will be big changes. But this is also to keep me focused on the stories as well.

So, here’s the three I’m working on at the moment. (You’ll also notice that the stories themselves will change as I get stuck on one I might start working on a new one.)

Home of his Own (Tony’s story): 24,592/50,000

The Vanguard: 40,462/55,000

The Gypsy Devil: 13,313/50,000

I set myself a goal of 50k for each of my stories. It doesn’t matter to me if I go over that mark, but I don’t want to be too far under it. πŸ™‚

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday.

    Loopy,

    Good luck on your final.

I know and I’m trying to get Tony’s story done as fast as possible, but other things keep getting in the way. But I’m determined to focus on him to the exculsion of others.

I’ve been wanting to post this pic for a while. Just been trying to find a post it would go with…then decided heck, just post it. The pic itself is sexy and hot.

The posts are usually between 500 and 1000 words, Yvonne. You’re not draining me. The other stories will get written. Maybe not quite as fast as I’d like, but they’ll get done.

    Elisa,

Glad to hear you enjoyed Fireflies. πŸ™‚ And the site is definitely inspiring I have to say.

Can you say HOT!! wow what a pix! I picked up Emily’s book yesterday and did not get as far into it as I thought- but I like what I’ve read so far.

What is the count for your usual T/Th posts? And I hope we are not draining you with our *heavy breathing*demands for more-lol

I finished Fireflies yesterday night. It’s a good story, I was in a silly mood so I enphatize the happy moments, but it’s really a more tender story than a joke. It’s something unusual for Ally, I believe, but I like it.

And I like your pic. I even subscribe to the feeds of the site… it’s… amazing…

    lol…isn’t it a yummy pic?

Well, good luck with the contest. Hopefully you’ll find out soon.

Yeah..I know lots of readers want Tony’s story and I’m getting to it slowly but surely. The Vanguard just happens to be going along well, mostly because I have to post something twice a week for everyone..lol

Some stories, it is harder to get to 50k than others.

    Good morning and WOW!

I did something that turned out to be stupid. I entered a contest at Samhain and said I wanted Fireflies since it was coming out on the 17th and the contest was over on the 16th. No winner posted and I’m afraid if I buy the book, I’ll win it! sigh The book has been on my calendar for as long as I’ve known the date.

Back to you: So, you know I want Tony’s story (I think everyone that read No Going Home does), but I noticed you’re really far into The Vanguard. WOOHOO ~ come on Thursday.

    Have a wonderful day

50K is a lot harder than it sounds.
