Wednesday WiPs

Well last week was a bit of a bust writing wise. Little hard to write while visiting family or having family over to visit. 🙂 But it looks like things are getting back into routine…lol.

I got Home of his Own back from one of my cps. Good suggestions. I ended up adding about 1k to the story to fix a problem. Sent it back and we’ll see if I get any more strong suggestions to fix. 😉 Actually I don’t mind the suggestions for the most part. If they make the story better, I’m more than willing to listen to them.

On to the WiPs:

Where the Devil Dances: 21,520/50,000 ( 3,850 words)

Dreaming of Dragons: 1,662/50,000 (404 words)

His Heart’s Home: 3,428/50,000 (0 words)

To Hell with the Devil: 8,462/45,000 ( 1,534 words)

Giving me a total of 5,788 words. I think I’ve figured out what my problem with DoD is. I think I might have started the story in the middle. I’m going to keep what I’ve written so far, but go back to before the scene I’ve written. There are undertones in that scene that I’m not understanding between Mordred and George. They are having some issues and I need to know what started those issues. We’ll see if I can straighten it out. 🙂

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

    Rosemary,

hey there. Brody is someone Tony meets in Hawaii. 😉 But don’t worry. Peter actually does get a love. His story is the fourth one I’ll be writing for the series…called Leaving Home. The heroes in the third story, His Heart’s Home, make appearances in Home of his Own (Tony’s story). The last story in the series…Home Sweet Home is about Yancey and Juan who you also meet in Tony’s story. 🙂

TA, this question is burning in my brain, Tony gets Brody (new guy ?) but what about Peter Skinner ??? he deserves a love too right ????

You’re writing, and that’s what counts, TA. 🙂 Keep it up!

    Bradleymel,

That’s awesome news. You deserve a pat on the back as well. Keep writing. Nothing’s a bigger high than actually finishing a story and I have faith you’ll do it.

    Gina,

I usually don’t have this problem. But it could explain why I’ve been having difficulty really getting into it. 🙂

Like Gina said. Holiday time is always hard to write because things just keep happening so pat yourself on the back for what you did get done. I have just passed the halfway point on my paranormal and just finished the next to the last chapter of my sci-fi. I’ve never gotten this far with a project before and I am ecstatic. Sorry. Just had to share cuz I couldn’t contain my excitement.

    Take care.

    Good morning TA!

Any progress is still progress. I started one of my stories at the beginning and was told it was too much at the beginning & that most of it could be told as dialog later – shrug –

My son was on the computer most of yesterday so I haven’t read Tuesday yet :0

    Have a great day
