Wednesday WiPs

I thought I was on the road to recovery, but it seems today is worse than yesterday. Ugh! I really just want to go back home, curl up under my blankets and totally forget about the outside world for a while.

Didn’t do much last night except watch Transformers again. Still a fun movie. 🙂

So on to the WiPs. Didn’t get a ton more added to any of them since I was sick over the weekend.

Home of his Own: 39, 403/50,000 (260 words)

Where the Devil Dances: 12,115/50,000 (1,486 words)

Dreaming of Dragons: 652/50,000 (0 words)

Devil’s Addiction: 30,582/50,000 (146 words)

That gives me 1,892 words for the week. Not bad. 🙂

I hope you all have a great Wednesday.

    Bradleymel,

I get my pictures from all over the web. 🙂 He is rather yummy, isn’t he?

thanks a lot for the encouraging words about writing. It does get frustrating after awhile when the words don’t come.

    anonymous,

My email address is chase.ta at gmail dot com. If you would like to continue this conversation privately, you can contact me here.

It seems more appropriate for this to be taken into a private discussion than to continue it on my blog.

Where do you get such gorgeous man candy? I want to eat him right off the page.

No matter what anyone says you’re story comes to you when it comes to you. I deal with an uncooperative Muse and a day job that drives me crazy so sometimes I go for days without writing a thing. You’re stories are wonderful and I am willing to wait.

I’m an editor…very impatient, especially with some writers.

gee anonymous, when the story comes to you, you write! I’ve got five going on myself plus two others nibbling at me.

The first book I started, got stalled at 16+k words. Am I still writing? Of course, I’ve done over 30k. When it doesn’t flow, it doesn’t flow. But when it does? Sweet!

sigh, enough. Sorry, TA, I’ll try to gag myself but good writers need encouragement, not nitpicking.

Tony’s book should have been done months ago (so you said back in June); this cold isn’t what’s holding it up. You treat writing like you can take it or leave it. Why not finish one book before dabbling with 6 others?

  7. Julie says:

Hey TA! Love the updates! Keep them up! Don’t know what your fighting with, but hope you rein it in soon, it’s a major bummer not to have the energy to do the things you love! ;o)

ahem, forgot to say – veerry nice eye candy. Man, where do you subscribe to get all these great pictures? Or are they friends? 🙂

  9. Gina, Book Dragon says:

me-ow to anonymous! Guess they shouldn’t come on Wednesdays. I love hearing about your writing.

The doc told me my cold would last two weeks. Yep, one week in bed and one week as the walking wounded.

    Rest up and get better!

I’m sick of hearing from week to week how much you HAVEN’T written! I don’t know your situation but I think writing is just a little hobby to you. Hope you feel better.

  11. Yvonne says:

I agree with Sylvie. Give it up for a couple of days and just rest. We’ll miss you-but we’d rather have you healthy.

Don’t tire yourself more than necessary. Rest and get well before writting…

Hope to find you with a better health soon.
