The Black Dahlia

Watched this movie last night. Interesting story..might have to get the book by James Ellroy and read it to really do the movie justice. I sort of needed a flow chart to understand the whole thing. But all in all, not a bad movie.

It’s intriguing that the murder hasn’t been solved. Sort of our own Jack the Ripper case, except as far as the police knew there was only one woman killed. Pretty gruesome.

I did some writing yesterday..mostly editing, so I didn’t end up with as many words written as I had hoped, but it’s coming along. 🙂

I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Thanks. :)I’m hoping to get my next book done and submitted by the end of the month.

I haven’t seen Hollywoodland yet, but I do have it on my list to rent. So thanks for the recommend.

Just finished AE – Bravo! Bravo!
I could feel Angel’s loneliness, pain and alienation. Wonderful story! A+! Looking forward to your next book.

P.S. I thought Hollywoodland was much better than The Black Dahlia.

I’ll have to look that up, Yvonne. And the info you gave me about the doctor sounds familair. I must have heard it somewhere as well. 🙂

    Thanks

Hey TA, It is interesting that this story has resurfaced after all this time. There have been several theories about the killer- the most recent is that a LA doctor was responsible. This was put forward by the man’s son- a retired LA detective. It makes interesting reading, the book is called the Dahlia Files.
