I’ve posted this pic once before, but I have to say it’s probably one of my favorites of The Rock. He’s the inspiration for my character-Snake-in the post-apocalyptic story I’m working on. He’s big, muscular and can have lots of attitude. That’s Snake. Of course, Snake has no hair anywhere. 😉 And has fangs. (and venom like the reptile he’s named after and not a vampire) Think of a weird sort of X-Men’s story..lol

Oh, Lily raises a good question in the comments section for Angel’s story (part Seventeen)..Will we ever know Angel’s real name? I said I’ve been wondering that myself since I haven’t heard a peep from Angel or any other character about what his real name might be. So I’m posing a question:

Should we find out what Angel’s real name is or would finding out ruin the story? Do you have any suggestions for a good name for our Angel?

Hope everyone has a great Friday.

If you want it, Jenna..you can have it as well. I’m generous that way..lol

  2. Jenna Howard says:

You can’t give away this picture of the Rock!! It’s mine. MINE. MINE!!!!!!!

    JJR,

I’m thinking this book will be the first in a series called Uprising. This one is called Joining Forces (tenatively…I might change it before the end.) Not totally sure yet.

SW…you may have my Rock pic. I give him to you freely. 🙂

There will be a scene where Angel confronts his father…maybe I could do the name thing there. Hmm…must think on this.

  5. T.A.Chase says:

Jenna..I don’t think I could ever do that. It would drive me crazy. Another clean monitor day, I see.

  6. T.A.Chase says:

Paige, you’re right. I think giving him a real name would change the tone of the story.

  7. Anita says:

OH THE ROCK is NICE!!! If your Snake is like him, I think I like him! *G* I agree with Jenna about getting what the Rock is cooking! YUM-O!!! Do you have a name for the new book yet?

Anyway, I don’t think we have to know Angel’s name, nor do I feel that it would ruin the story. I like that Grey calls him Angel.

Ha! According to your quote, I’m a thief. So I’m totally stealing your Rock pic. 🙂

I suggest combining Paige and Jenna’s ideas — name him after his father, but don’t reveal that until the very end, and then you maybe could have someone call him by his father’s name and he could say, no, that’s my father, I’m Greyson’s angel… or something.

And about the pic: Oh. My. God. Are those things real? Infer whatever you want — I am in fact referring to all of those things. Droooooool.

  10. Jenna Howard says:

Yeah…I agree with Paige. You could pull a Sandra Brown! At the end when Angel finally tells his name, he could just tell Greyson and leave all us readers sweating and cursing you out!! That would rock.

  11. Paige Burns says:

That’s a good idea, but I like Angel. I think naming him would change the tone of the story.

  12. T.A.Chase says:

I thought you’d like that pic, Jenna.

You’re right. Naming him after his father would be a good idea. Since his father’s an arrogant jerk. Now just have to figure out what his dad’s name is..lol

  13. Jenna Howard says:

Sigh. The Rock. Ahhhhhh yessssssss. 😉

Why not make Angel’s real name the same as his father’s? Having an heir was all about ego so many named their first born sons after themselves. It would help explain why Greyson never calls Angel it. And why Angel has no problems not acknowledging it.

Mmm…the Rock. I love me this pictures. Yessss indeedy do.
