Tennis..anyone?

I’m watching Wimbledon at the moment. I like both Federer and Nadal, but I have to admit my heart is hoping Federer will win. It’ll be his fifth Wimbledon in a row. I want history to be made.

Oh and stop by SEx today. It’s Flash Fiction Sunday and people will be posting their very short scenes. (100 words total). Shayla is hosting today, but I’ve posted something already.

hope you all have a great Sunday.

Finally, I was beginning to think it would be another tennis seige like Sampras had. It finally got to the point I wouldn’t bother watching his matches. He’d just ace his way to victory.

Federer is awesome, and a natural. But I do like to see a good, evenly matched game.

Okay, I’m shutting up now. 🙂

I don’t know. Roddick seems to have reached his peak. I don’t think Connors has been able to help him.

Isn’t it strange that Federer can be as great as he is without a coach (for the most part)? I think it shows how talented Federer is. But it’s great to see that Nadal has finally risen up to the level Federer is at. I think we’ll have several great matches from now.

Agassi was always wonderful to watch. I enjoyed when he played.

    Remember Patrick Rafter?
    He was hot. 😉

I still pray Roddick will find some flair. Something.

    Yeah, Nadal is looking good.

I gotta say, I choked up when he won Wimbledon and cried. He wouldn’t play there before cause they required you to wear white and he was still hung up on that image thing. But he was a freaking bulldog. One of the best return-of-servers I’ve ever seen.

isn’t Federer awesome? And I think Nadal is coming into his own now and we should see some interesting matches from now on.

Agassi was great, especially during his later years after he got over the whole image thing.

    Julia,

Thanks. I don’t do the Flash fiction thing well. Only because i don’t do twist ending weel. 🙂

    Elisa,

I have read Keira Andrews’ book and really enjoyed it. But I like sport books set in unusual sports or less noticed sports. 🙂

    Federer is yummy, isn’t he?

  8. Lisa Andel says:

Tennis is my sport of choice.
I watched Wimbledon too. And yeah I rooted for Federer. He’s just freaking good.

    I miss Agassi though.

Just checked out your Flash Fiction. That looks like fun. Nice scene.

Mmm. I’m not fond of tennis, but if every tennis player is like him, I can change my mind. Have you read Love Match by Keira Andrews? Is a very interesting M/M romance setting in the tennis competition world. ciao, elisa
