Poetry Train.

Will You…
Will you catch me?
If I take one step too close
To the edge,
If I were to fall,
Would you catch me?
Will you be there?
If I make the wrong choice
And turn away,
If I were to need you,
Would you be there?
Will you care?
If I can’t find my way back
From that edge,
If I were to get lost,
Would you care?
Will you hold me?
If I grow cold and my heart
Freezes,
If I were to forget how to care,
Would you hold me?
Will you love me?
If I am convinced that you should
Hate me,
If I believe myself a monster,
Would you love me?

This stanza is my favorite:
‘Will you hold me?
If I grow cold and my heart
Freezes,
If I were to forget how to care,
Would you hold me?’
Very moving.
BEAUTIFUL. Carol H.
I agree woth both Jenna and Melissa. Thank you.’Y
I heart you T.A.
This was beautiful. And made me cry.
Beautiful, poignant and haunting. This one will stay with me for a long time, especially the last stanza.
The pic is stirring. It’s like one is sheltering, the other hiding. Very striking.
Take care and have a great day. I look forward to more of Noah and Lord.
