Poetry Train…

One Day

One day at a time
Is how love is built
A single kiss
A simple look

You asked for nothing except
A single day
A moment out of time with
No expectations of more

Willingly I gave it
Never knowing a day
Would become a life
A foundation for love to grow

Two weeks together
Is how love is built
Ten kisses
Ten glances

Our worlds intertwined
Our roads merged
Love strengthened
Need blossomed

Songs were sung
Dances danced
Nights spent loving
Forging unbreakable bonds

Two lives living
Is how love is built
Kisses shared
Looks given.

Promises made.

Sometimes love smacks into you like a drop from a 40-story building. But sometimes it sneaks up. This is beautiful once again, T.A.

    I like this one TA.
Having the line “Promises made” seperate like that really gives it that extra bit of significance.

lol…see I can write a happy poem once in a while. 😉 Not Home of His Own, but in the next book, His Heart’s Home.

So beautiful TA and it’s not sad. Yay! Is this one going to be in Home of His Own? I hope so. I love the third and fifth stanzas especially.

    Have a great day.
